The nutrient problems still persist: The fan leaves getting the most light still yellow and rust. Lower leaves getting very little light die and fall off. Together with the clawing and the tips of the young sugar leaves getting a little burnt i concluded my lady is suffering severe nutrient burn so i decided to do a thorough flushing of the soil. The first litre of runoff had an EC value of 5 (2400ppm)! huge salt buildup. After more than 20 litres of flushing with tap water i could bring the EC down to 1,2-1,4. PH of the runoff worries me too as it clocks in on 4,5. I top dressed with dolomite lime while flushing but not sure if it penetrates the soil deep enough to help.

Should i switch my fertilizer to somtehing with less nitrogen for the rest of the bloom phase?

Yes, You should switch to a bloom specific fert with a higher Phosphorus percentage! this means the middle number on most fertilizers - EXAMPLE: 2-8-4 (N-P-K) If you continue to use veg nutes then you can burn your plant and you won't pack on the big buds! happy growing!

3 upper fan leaves have "rusty" brown spots on the upper side. Hard to spot, hard to capture on camera. I also have slight "clawing" on many of the upper leaves. Mg/Ca lockout because of nitrogen toxicity possible? Doesn´t seem to be fungi, as there are no spores to rub off.

Yes, it is magnesium blocking. Spray magnesium sulfate over the leaf every three days, three times.

See this now on more and more leaves. Only upper fan leaves that get good light exposure seem to be affected from this and also the clawing. Have backed off the nutes completely for now and will add ground egg shells to the water in the hope its a Ca deficiency.

Looks more like a potassium excess, better off doing a semi-flush with some stimulators in the water like Root enchancers and/or humic acid.

Hi! The second photo shows magnesium blockage. Moreover, there are "claws", which means there was an overdose of nitrogen and nitrogen blocked access to magnesium. A friend recently had the same problem. Sprayed with magnesium sulfate three times, every three days, the problem went away. Magnesium sulfate is sold in every pharmacy and costs a penny. Good luck!✌️

@Harmar, thanks for your helpful comments👍 I bought some magnesium sulfate at my local pharmacy yesterday and applied it as foliar spray (2% solution clocking in at 600ppm) to the fan leaves. I also added a tiny amount of dish soap to lower the surface tension of the spray. I also got my hands on an EC-tester which showed that my feeding solution for the last 3 weeks had around 1200ppm😳. Considering it is a 8-5-8 fertilizer, a magnesium lockout due to nitrogen or potassium excess makes perfect sense.😏

Agree. But I note that we should not forget about mg. To do this, you will need 1 ml/l of pharmacy solution-it is safe (if the fertilizer is not enough mg). Delete urgently within a few days N. Macro photo 1-absence of P. You can get a p!block in the future.!! N is necessary for flowering, but very little! better without it at all at this altitude!!! :) They grow well, like my AK-47 10 years ago:) give an additional complex fertilizer for flowering. I give potassium monophosphate in addition, when there is not enough complex fertilizer (very popular in Russia):) ie I make 30-50-100% (starting from 30% and higher) of the required complex fertilizer and observe how the plant consumes phosphorus. This is how I adapt to any complex during flowering. Good luck, bro!

@PurposeGround, Thanks for your comment and bringing mg (You mean magnesium i suppose?) to my attention. Today, while i was inspecting the canopy from the underside, i spotted 3 upper fan leaves which showed little dark spots all over them while looking through them against the light. I didn´t notice it beforehand because these spots are hardly to see normaly. They show as faint "rusty" (For lack of a better term) spots on the upper side of the leaf. I read rusty spots can come from rust fungus (Ruling that out, cause there are no spores to rub off) or from Mg and CA deficiency. My fertilizer has 0,2% MgO in it. I also see a light clawing up of many of the other upper leaves. Maybe a lockout due to nitrogen toxicity? I will follow up with another question and pictures if time allows it.
