Placed seeds in water for the night and the started sprouting in the glass before morning, very strong seeds! Put them directly in rock wool cubes in RDWC buckets and the we’re up and out the next day. Got the 1000w MH HID turned down to 600w and moving on a light rail about 2ft above seedlings.

Going good so far, end of week 2 and roots are hitting the water on all plant. Topped 3 of 4 Plants at 5th node And the last one is a bit smaller so we will wait a few days to top it still. Changed the water in the system at end of week 2 and added Remo lineup at 3/4 strength along side UC Roots at 5ml/gal.

These girls are exploding like the bomb seeds they are! Always a treat to grow any Bomb seeds in my experiences. I have grown Both Atomic and Widow bomb before and great seeds/genetics and amazing top shelf buds on massive plants. They are really blowing up now there roots are in the water and all 4 have been topped in prep for LST and there screens. I also installed my DIY reservoir cooler and wrapped my buckets in reflective insulation stuff to keep heat out and keep water cool. Will post some results when I test it more...

Girls are looking great so far! I added about 2ml/g to the reservoir and the plants responded well. Got a good explosion of growth over the last few days. I was able to start LST training the largest of the 4 today and the other 3 will be a day or 2 until they will be ready to start LST. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Had a bad week 4 as my PH pen decided to go wonky. Once I got it all straitened out plants took a few days to bounce back and took some lower leaf damage but nothing to bad and it will mostly be trimmed off soon anyway. Still waiting to start LST on 3 of these girls until they get a few days of normalcy after the ph shock. Will probably be end of week five we tie the other 3 down and get the screens in place to prep for Scrog.

Plants took a hard hit with bad ph levels in week 4 for a few days but are growing strong again and I will probably veg till the end of week 6 on these girls and switch to flowering in week 7. Overall it’s going good, water temps are a steady 18 Celsius with the thermoelectric water cooler I built and the small ac unit In the tent is holding the air temps between 23-25 Celsius. I added 4 gal of fresh water and nutrients at full strength to the reservoir on Day 38. Also the first lower screen was installed and I tied down/tucked a few of the larger branches to the screen.

Plants are looking good overall, screen is in place and plants are being weaved through for Scrog. We are waiting to fill the screen a wee bit more before we flip. Being RDWC these girls will definitely get much bigger through there stretch so we will probably flip to flower next week but we will see. They are starting to suck up the water fairly good now and I’m adding about 2-3 gal of 3/4 strength nute’d water every 2-3 days now roughly.

Flipped to flowering on these girls as the screens are now almost full across the 4x8 tent and we will still need to train them along the screens for the next 2-3 weeks. So working for a packed tent this time hopefully. Plants have been exploding in growth daily. Water was changed out and new water added with 3/4 Remo Flowering lineup and UC Roots at full strength. Smell is starting to get noticeable when you open the tent and is very pleasant.

First week of flowering went good, plants are not really starting to stretch to much yet, screen is pretty much full already so I will probably just fill the last few squares on each side then I’ll add the second screen and let them grow up into it. I did a heavy defoliation at the end of week 1 as the screen was way to crowded. I’m going to wait till the end of week 2 and clear everything under the first screen then. Plants were also showing a little bit of nutrient burn on some of the leaf tips so I added about 3 gal of fresh water to my reservoir to dilute the mixture a bit. Overall it’s a very robust and leafy plant so far, lots of shouts coming up into the screen, should be a pack tent anyway. I’ll add more pictures throughout the week as well. Cheers 💨

Anyone have any experience with the Light Rail movers? I have 2 of the Light Rail 4.0 systems each in a 4’x8’ tent. I’ve been trying different motor speeds and pause times, just wondering what others do for there pause timings and motor speeds? Cheers 💨

I think the biggest decision is how much do you bounce off the wall and lose 7-10% or more as well as the loss of intensity on other side vs. improving overall spread of light. finding that negligible returns of one direciton and how much is lost on other side at that point? a simple light meter can give relative intensity. if the time to reverse directions causes uneven dirstribution of time, that's something to counteract with programming, if it is that sophisticated/robust of an option. If not, 2 well-timed, fixed locations that don't causes significant loss on either side might average out best. a light meter can help. par meter and some resulting maps would help more.

Everything went good last, these girls have a ton of foliage and some of the fan leaves are getting as huge so I’m forced to remove a lot of the larger ones to make room for all the sprouts coming up, they are everywhere! Very packed screen so I’m kinda forced to let them come up soon, they seem to be keeping pretty low so far though so we will see. Overall was a successful week and we are trucking along. Cheers💨

Everything’s trucking along nicely so far This week. I cleared out under the first net this week and stripped there bottoms down. Lol I also was forced to do another defoliation up top this week as it was insanely crowded again, 3 days later and it’s gonna need it again to put the top screen on. Crazy foliage on these girls. I had a friend pass away last week so stuff kinda got put on the back burner, shoulda had the top screen on already. They are also so bushy and crowded I had nowhere to train the larger branches coming up in the middle so there are a few popin up over the canopy here and there. Gonna have to remember to flip this strain earlier if I give her a go again. Looks like I got 2 pheno types as well, 3 are bigger and stretched up more and 1 stayed low and is a bushier girl. I think it will all be good in the end though, no big hiccups yet. Cheers💨

Girls still stretching during the last week, couple really got up over the net but they are on the sides of the tent mainly so no biggy, looks like we might get a couple big ass buds off some of them on the flip side. Lol looks like 3 of the 4 seem to have made a run for the light, but the 4th is staying short and squat. I actually have another banana bomb going in a separate tent from the same seed pack started at the same time, just put her into flowering 2 weeks earlier. That one is under LED but it too stayed short and squat. I spread her out on a single screen and she barely stretched at all, no need for the second screen. So I was not really expecting these other 3 to go so dam big! Lol we will manage though like always. I tried to turn up the light to 1000w for a few hours too but they didn’t seem to like 300000+ Lux...lol kinda thought so, but I figured maybe with the light movers I could hit them with a bit more but not the case it seems, they came up to high over the screen and my lights maxed out height wise. They seem to be happy with the 750w now so we will keep it there. I’m still trying to figure out these light movers so I think that also had a play it the stretch as well, I believe I had them pausing to long at each end and the other end was to long without light, making them stretch more. I’m starting to dial it in I think for my setup now though, just takes trail and error and a long time to wait to see any changes. Lol this is my second run with this light mover setup now so I’m learning more each time. Well that’s it for now, we will keep on keeping on. Cheers!💨

Everything went good again this week, girls Finally stopped stretching I think! Lol I pulled back all the shouts that ran for the light, now they are either pulled back enough to the side or tied down some to make it more even in the middle for the light and to keep the taller branches from burning as I cant go any higher with my light. These girls really exploded in size compared to my test Banana Bomb I started flowering 2 weeks earlier in a small tent under 2x180w LED lights to see how she stretched to judge for this big tent. Led kept her tight and small, these girls are 4 feet tall in some places! Getting some good bud site development though all over the place. Seems we have 3 of the same phenotype that are tall lanky and 1 different phenotype that is staying short and compact under exact same conditions. I also did a complete water change this week and we are keeping the EC around 1.3 as they are showing a bit of excess nutrients I believe, gonna keep her on the lower side to be safe and wait for her to tell me when she hungry for more. All and all it was a good week, no major problems and buds are starting to ramp up there size and development. That’s it till next week. Cheers! 💨

Another week gone by already, I’m a little late getting this up this week as I was busy harvesting my other tent. Turned my air conditioner off this week because I’m pretty sure it is blowing on my one plant too much and causing some issues. Also don’t need it anymore since summer is over and temps are stable again without it. I also was forced to turn my light down again to 600w as my buds were showing signs of too much light, they have been in 600w now for a couple days and they are starting to show normal bud development again. We are into the 6th week now and gonna push them 9 prob I’m thinking, still lots of time for these girls to fatten up. That’s it till next week, Cheers💨

Everything went as good as it could the last week. I definitely realize now that the light was too much for them once they stretched up from the lack of knowledge using my light mover. I’m still trying to figure them out but I believe I have the rite combination now for speed and pause times, but sadly to late for this crop. My other tent just going into flower with the same setup will be run drastically differently this time for a lot of things to compensate for my intense 1000w HPS. I’ve grown massive Buds before under this light in smaller tents and I’ll be dam’d if I’m gonna let this light rail defeat me! Lol so we are gonna start flush now because we are just about 8 weeks in and although we do have a ton of bud in this tent and I would have like to push her a bit more, we are gonna take what we got and move on! Lol there are a lot of medium size buds absolutely everywhere, and solid. Even below the top screen, between the 2 screens every node has a solid bud sticking out. Still gonna be a nice yield I think all things considered. Ph pretty much stayed constant in the reservoir at 6.0 as well as the EC was sitting around 1.5 all week. Wish I could get my light up more but I’m having a hard time finding the attachment for my light rail mover to add a bar instead of ropes to suspend it. I can’t justify $100 to import it from USA though...lol so I’m gonna experiment with some other diy one once I get these girls cut down, dont wanna mess around above them and risk dropping the heavy light on my girls. That’s it for this week. Gonna start out flush in the next day or so and ill report back in a week or so! Cheers💨

I’ve noticed a couple bananas growing out of a few of my buds on 2 of my 4 Banana Bombs ....ironic lol but my question is, should I continue flush to try and get a week flush or so in or cut them down now? I’ve only found a few on top buds closest to the light so far and removed

I personally would probably give them the chop. If you happen to miss a few and they throw pollen it won't be just a few plants with immature seeds. Or remove the plants you've found with nanners and let the others go while keeping a close eye out. 🤘😤

60 days into flowering now, pulled 2 of these girls 7 days ago because 1 had a few bananas on it and the other was stressed to much from light and not really giving any quality bud and it was stretched out taking up lots of space. The 2 left have been flushing a little over a week now and are very close to harvest. I will prob harvest them sometime this week. Everything is going good so far anyway for these 2 and we will hopefully get some nice dense buds, we will see. Cheers💨 Day-62 update Found my microscope! Got some picks up of the tricombs up now, and as I suspected they are not quite ready yet. There are a few amber but I’m still seeing clear ones, but there mostly all cloudy now so I’m thinking another week or so will probably do it. That will give me a good 2 week flush as well. I got some pics and a video up as well just before my lights came on so there better then under the HPS anyway. Lol cheers💨

Well this was the final week for these last 2 girls. I cut them down at day 66 into flowering. We got almost 2 weeks of flush and the tricombs were all white and starting to turn amber so we are at peak THC content. We are nearing the 10 week mark for flowering and it’s time for the next round to be swapped into this tent soon so I decided we are very close to were I wanted to be with them and pulled the trigger. Took me almost 10 hrs to trim these 2 girls... lots of buds! I need to invest in one of those bud trimming machines maybe. Lol I’ll update my harvest results once we have them dried and in jars and I have a final weight. My 2 previous plants I pulled from this grow about 2 weeks ago netted about 6oz dried, but we pulled them early cause 1 was pushing a couple bananas from light stress and the other was also stressed from light and just not tightening up its buds so we sacrifice pulled her at the same time to get more light to the last 2 for their final flush. These girls fattened up nicely over the last week though and I am satisfied with the results so far, we will see what the final outcome is in a week or so. My drying room is very dry(~30% RH) so only takes 5-7 days or so to get the smaller branches snappin and be jarrable. It’s a bit quicker then most people do but it decreases the chances of mold setting in. That sucks! Lol well that’s it till next week when we have some harvest info for you all! Cheers💨

Well we ended up with just over 16oz off these 4 girls. We definitely had some issues this go around with my light mover and learning how to use it. Ended up with some stretched out plants that grew too close to my light setup and I was forced to set my light at 600w for most of the grow. So we didn’t pull what we expected but it was a learning grow really for all my newish equipment, figuring out the grow light mover was especially frustrating.... lol took a long time to try all the different combinations with pause/speed/distance and wait to see there results each time we tried something new. But 2 grows later and I think we got everything down now to push out a few pounds with the rite strain under these tent setups. Time will tell..lol Cheers 💨
