Critical Purple from Growers Choice Seeds. She is doing good like her sisters in her Nature’s Living Soil blend. Planning on starting LST soon. I have high hopes for this girl.
Critical Purple is doing great. Got a good node spacing. In a few days I will bend the top of her main over. She will so great with LST. Expecting a full tent this time next month.
This girl is trucking right along and really looking good! Her canopy is looking good and I bent her top over again today. Time to let them strength and do a little defoliation. I think I still have a few weeks to train on this one! She will be a big one too and I can’t wait.
This gurl has gotten huge! It’s hard to reach the girls in the back of the tent and train them as well as the girls in the front, but this is girl want to be the queen of the tent. And she just might! She’s a huge bush of even bud sites. The purple is definitely critical.
This girl is huge! Easily the widest girl in the tent and she is the second tallest. I did LST to her early on and I shaped a beautiful and even canopy. I didn’t have a nice space for the main to go so I just let it come back up to the center. All the other branches are about two inches below the main and she is starting to flower heavy! Expecting a big yield from this girl.
This girl is huge! 3 feet and taking up more than her corner of the tent. I think she will be able to have the tent to her self foe the least few weeks of her life. She has so many bud sites and branches. Hoping her stretch is done!
Biggest girl in the tent and she is just now starting to really bloom. I’m ready to see the frost and feel the sticky. Hopefully that will start to happen this week. Besides that she is doing great. Further evidence that I should stick with four in the tent Instead of five. I wish I could pull her out for some pictures. I just turn her every few days. Hyped to see her flowering go crazy.
Finally was able to take some good pictures of this girl! She is a beast. 57 days from seed and she is stacked! The buds are really forming underneath all the balls of pistils. She smells great and is so sticky to the touch.
Day 64 from seed as I write this. Critical Purple is huge and showing her fall season fade. Don’t let her huge pistils fool you. The buds have been packing on underneath and one day soon I will walk in the tent and they will have started to swell! I’m expecting a big yield off of this girl. Just a few weeks left.
This girl is a monster. All the other girls got chopped over the weekend but she wasn’t ready. Now she gets the tent to herself and she is loving it. I bent all her branches down as much as I could to spread her out even more. I’m thinking a week, maybe two left. The other girls are hang drying and once they are done I can trim, weigh, take pictures and then I’ll update my harvests!
Man, this girl is really chunking up on me. I’ve been feeding her photosynthesis plus or instant compost tea every watering to make sure she has extra nutrients. She is fading hard but smelling and stacking. Her trichomes are all cloudy with a few amber creeping in. Gonna let her go until Saturday or Sunday and then chop her.
Very fruity smell and taste. Pretty buds and a big structured plant. However, the bud structure is not my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, it is a great high, and the potency is all there. The frost and bud structure is just not my favorite. Dense buds covered in red hairs, with fruity, skunky aftertaste.
The strain, as with most growers choice seeds, grows a big, bushy plant. The yield and potency are all there. With 4.25 oz from one plant, I was very happy with the yield. 12 weeks and done. I cut her top colas a few days early when they were amber. I raised the lowers and left them for a few daysz
How much and how long did it take for the flowers to swell up before you chopped? My flowers are so tiny but now that I've gotten a new light I'm wondering what to expect.
Your grow convinced me my 2 40w LED wrap fixtures weren't cutting it. Your plants are so much bigger than mine. I'm waiting for my 320w Kingbrite to make the ocean voyage.
@skeeter,nice bro! Just remember to keep the lights up high. My lights are five feet from the floor. It allows the plants to stretch a bit more and node spacing goes a long way with LST
