It is getting really thick this week. I tightened down the LST to open the plants up some more and make sure they have more room to stretch during flower. I did a light defoliation on the second day after flipping the lights. This week, I top dressed with Fish bone meal, Kelp meal, and Alfalfa meal. I had a sample package of recharge that I got from the hydro store so I added that to the water once this week. I might start upping the water the plants are getting this week. I think the pot can take a bit more than I am giving them. I want to really make those nutrients down in the bottom of the pot available for the plant to grow its roots into.
I think the worms are doing well. I've been seeing thick mycelium and then it disappears again. Also whenever the cover crop is chopped, it doesn't seem to stick around for much more than a week or two. I'm assuming the worms are having their fill of the greens and microbes in the pot.
I've been spraying the plants this week with Neem oil before the flowers really start growing as a preventative for pests. I definitely should have started this weeks ago but better now then never. I'm only going to do it this week because I don't want this to really get in the buds. I also bought some nematodes that I will water in the beginning of the next week. They should be able to take care of any larva in the soil that could cause me a problem (hopefully).
This is the beginning of the exciting part. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly.
