I believe having birds is a good thing to control bugs population. Are you trying to protect your plant form anything else?

still growing ok. no problems. watering every few days as the clay soil is holding in moisture. fertilized with Fox farm grow big 1 Tbs per gallon.

Good point. I had read that the cd's would repel whiteflies similar to birds so i added the cds along with yellow sticky paper. whiteflies are now gone so just took down the cds today. Thanks for the tip
