Hi y'all!, We're simply stoked to be here and thrilled to share our grow journeys with you all. Fairly new to the grow game, we've been growing for the past year and trying out various techniques and we finally feel like we've got a solid understanding of the art of growing our beloved marijuana. Being a young couple, both of whom are doctors by profession, we have fallen in love with the pure joy and blissful satisfaction of growing our own herbs from seed to harvest. They've become our babies! If you ask our opinion as medical professionals, we hold sincere hope for the future of cannabis in medicine and healing. Can't wait to see what the future brings! Getting to business, although we have done all our previous grows in 2x2 tents and a couple outdoor in the terrace, this time we decided to go for something innovative and designed our own grow cabinet! Measuring 2.5x4 and made of good laminated wood we estimate that we'd be able to grow 8 awesome planties in this set-up. The strains we've chosen for our first ever indoor cabinet grow are Fast Buds 420 Strawberry Pie Auto (4) and Fast buds 420 Gorilla Cookies Auto (4) We soaked them in a shot glass filled with water for a day and a half after which we transferred them to coco propagation coins. Germinated 8 seeds and 7 have popped up till now. lets see. The larger plants which you see are roughly a week older. Not much of a difference. The girls are being lit-up by a MARS-HYDRO TS1000 and a Custom LM301H 120W LED Grow Light. Both have been hung at roughly 30 to 40 cms above the plant tips. For the ventilation, the cabinet is kept in an air-conditioned room and the grow room temperature is maintained at 25C. We have a couple of fans in the cabinet to keep things breezy. We did not however name the plants :P So we'll have to wait for the characteristics to show up to tell them apart. Should be fun!

Hi everyone! Hope y'all had a great week. We had a busy one, with lots of changes and improvements to the grow. We'd like to start off by telling you that all four seeds that we planted sprouted up into saplings (yay🙌) and we let them grow in the coco-coir plugs for a few days after which we transplanted them onto the bigger fabric pots that you see in the photos. The pots were a little bigger than we expected so we had to cut off the top of the pots a little as they were a hindrance to the light reaching the plants at their current height. We made sure to make the soil mix before transplant a couple days back so we could let it aerate for a bit in the sunlight. Also, something we forgot to do the last time around was add the mycorrhizae to the coco-perlite mixture, but we didn't miss out on it this time! A major change we made after some extensive 🙀 research was the switch to the one part nutrient namely Megacrop (the grow and the candy) as we found these had all the needed basic nutrients at a higher concentration and additional ones like Humic acid, Fulvic acid, Kelp extract, Organic chelated Amino acids without EDTA and Vitamin B Complex . They also offered a more economical nutrient option in the long run. We're hoping these will last us the full length of this grow so we'll see about that. Coming to the Big Sisters on the other half of the grow cabinet, we did some LST for the branches after the topping, which we did for the main cola only and they seem to have kept to the structure we intended for them quite well! About two days after the LST, we did some defoliation on them as well to free up space for the Light to reach the lower branches and also did some Lollipopping to make sure all those nutrients reached the right places. This way, we're hoping to avoid too much Larf come harvest time :) We watered these with 1 teaspoon/ gallon Megacrop grow and 1 teaspoon/gallon Candy at 2l/pot/two days as they were drinking up quite a lot. We are seeing some good thickness on the main stem as well as the side branches and now have a rough count of 8-10 main colas on our Big Ones. We did break one of the lower colas on one of these while training them accidentally (one of us seems to have made this a tradition every grow) but no biggie😅 We're happy with how things are looking as of now and we're looking to continue this for the week with the same 20x4 light cycle, but looking forward to an update on the LED Light, which should arrive in about a couple of weeks from now {fingers crossed}, hopefully before/ just as flowering sets in😇 This was a fun week! 👽 Well, That's it for our updates... See you around a week from now! 😻💪👋

Are you surprised at the growth on these lovelies this week, because we sure were! Although we defoliated the elder ones at the start of the week, they've grown back really quick 😄 We trained them a bit more so they can get that structural advantage as they grow and we are looking forward to see how they develop over the next week. We continued the same for the little ones, and well, we guess they're not so little anymore😸 ! One of them almost matches the size of the plants that are 2 weeks ahead. We're looking to train them this week so watch this space for more on that. :) And SURPRISE SURPRISE, we went ahead and planted four more cuties for our 2x2!!😋 Blackberry Auto and Zkittlez by Fatbuds 420! We will probably try and create a separate diary for those four, so cheers to that!✊ All in all, it was an exciting week that's got us feeling happy as can be. Fingers crossed*💪 Hope they made you feel that way too, See you guys next week !😍👋

Heyy growfam, Hope everyone is doing splendid! We had a very relaxed week with some heavy training for all the plants. 😎 We had to up the quantity of nutrient water cause these girls were sooo thirsty this week 😲! Loved seeing them grow into the intended structure, we can see some nice individual big colas and very minimal potential larf producing ones, so very happy about that. We are yet to transplant the baby blackberry and baby zkittlez because we are still waiting on our new lights (any guesses? 😉) And we are a bit bummed about the fact that they are still stuck in customs but chin up because they should be home real soon! ✊ That's all that went down this week, with just some minor changes to the composition of the nutrient water because the girls are transitioning to flower (as detailed in the specs), and the hardy LST work of course! Looking forward to sharing the developments of the coming week soon, should be a fun one! 😍 Well, until then, hang tight guys and see y'all real soon ! 🙌👋

Hey guys,🙌 For week five of veg we went ahead with the same routine of defoliation, watering and training. We moved one of the larger plants to our 4x4 because these girls were getting quite big and we wanted to give them more space to grow. The new Electric Sky has finally come in and it has made a wonderfully positive difference. The leaves have started showing some pink colour on them and we are excited to see what happens next.😻 Stay with us 💪👋

Hi everyone! Good news as we head into week six, we've officially entered flowering!😻 The plants have begun to show bud formation and they are growing quite nicely. They've even begun to give off some distinct odours. Trichomes are beginning to appear and things are merry in this grow cabinet. We did yet another defoliation this week cause these girls are getting bushy 👽real quick. Also some lollipopping cause they.ve gotten quite tall and the lower buds are probably going to end up larfy and we didnt want that. Next week should bring in some beautiful changes. Let's see! Ciao🙌👋

And lo and behold, it's week 2 of flowering and all the plants are looking healthy and happy. 😍The pistils are forming at greater speed now and the smell is definitely stronger. We get a sweet candy fragrance and expect more changes in the next weeks. The plants are definitely going to be trichome heavy and we are happy to say that we haven't had any nutrient deficiencies, pest problems or nutrient lockouts so far and we've got our fingers crossed💪. We did have to defoliate this week as well although we reckon it will probably be the last one for a while now. We shifted another of these beauties into the 4x4 for more space and the plants look like they're definitely loving it. 😎 Can't wait for week 8! See you real soon guys 👊🙌

Hi guys! 😃 Hope you're all doing safe and well. Things have been looking up in our cozy grow cabinet with all our plants well into flowering. The buds have begun to stack up and the smell is stronng. We are getting a lot of candy fruity tones giving an overall intensely sweet aroma. 😋 The buds are getting quite heavy with few of the plant stems getting quite bendy as evidenced by one of our strawberry pies that kept flopping over haha. It has been quite a rainy and humid week with multiple power cuts interrupting our light schedule 😒. Fortunately it hasn't had too much of an impact on these sturdy girls and we are still deficiency and mold free yay! Stoked to see some beautiful pink colors showing on our Gorilla cookies, along with some summery orange vibrant colors on the Strawberry pies. 😻 That's it for this one guys. See you real soon ! Peace 💪👋

Greetings fellow growbuddies ! 😀 It's been an exciting week for us. All the buds are now fattening up and two of them so well that we had to harvest them 😺 (refer labelled pics) ! The gorilla cookies are looking gorgeous with sharp pointy leaves, subtle purple trichomes and crystal white pistils with a beautiful pink hue. They've got this sweet pine syrup kind of smell that's heady and intense enough to fill up an entire room. The strawberry pies are just a breath of fresh air looking bright with orange hues and showing off their curvy leaves. They smell like the most delicious fermenting fruits mixed with exotic candy. All in all these girls filled up the entire house with their aromas when we did this photo-shoot leaving us heady and overwhlemed 😵😻👽 We've started to flush these girls and are sure looking forward to see how they grow and change over the next week. Until then, Bella Ciao 👋✊🙌
