As you can see the past 2 weeks on 24/7 light and getting the ph down has the girls looking nice. Just switched them to an 18/6 light schedule. I'm bout add the cyco grow XL to the mix so hoping to see good results. The last 2 pics are a full day after light change and adding the grow XL. But still too early too tell the story.

This week in my eyes looking nice and healthy. Pretty happy with the reaction to the extra nutrients that were added. First topping was tonight. Hoping I might get one more in.

This week I started working the details of indoor growing. Bought a light meter(unfortunately it only does LUX and FC(foot candles). But I can make it work). Got the girls around 25000-28000 LUX. According to Google God that's the area I want to be in for veg. I'll have to double it come flower time. Got 9 girls going, I did a complete topping on 4 of them. Left the other 5 alone trying a comparison. Unfortunately after topping and defoliating the gurls I was bending them back down(LST) and f------ broke 2 main stalks. Each stalk only broke/tore only bout half way across. So I'm going to cry myself to sleep and pray to the generous pot God for a swift and complete recovery. Fortunately I've done a couple outside grows and seen way worse and it worked out. So just taped them up as good as possible and moved on. Turned my full spectrum led lights on full instead of blue light this week. Gurls seemed to respond nicely but next week's pics will tell more of the tale.

This week did my last bend down(LST). Just pumping the juice to them and going to let them grow up from here. Should be switching to 12's after next Sat.

Well this week ends the veg cycle. I will add pics shortly. Overall good week. Pretty much on ffwff(feed, feed, water, feed, feed) schedule the whole time. Did my last bending and maybe one more time light defoliating later on this week. Other than that switched to 12/12 last night now it's just sit back and watch the girls budout. Got absolutely 0 complaints with the "cyco" line (other than a bit expensive, $1000 for complete lineup of 5litre). Only possible problem will be if I'm trimming and LST correctly. Proof will be in the pictures.

Doing hopefully last trimming. They're responding very well. Already got some size nugs poppin. Giving them a couple days of ph6.1 water. Just to clear out a little then pumping the juice back to them. Learning a lot this grow.

Seems like trimming never stops. But very easy week just a little trimming and since I know I need another light I'm gonna try a thought and we'll see if it works in the end. Very happy with the nugs and growing nicely.

Trying out an idea...wrapped them up in Mylar last week. I checked my light strength at soil level and it doubled and half. They dont seem to mind the lights as close as they are. No burns or nothing. Still pumping the juice heavy to to them. After my first indoor growing failure im very excited about the showing and coming results. Eagerly looking forward to next grow. Im gonna go for trying main lining I think. I definitely need to work on my training methods. But as they say...learning something new every day.

Grow Questions

Hello GD.... I'm thinking about doing mainlining on my next couple grows. And understanding that everything is right but is there an average yield for mainlining? Only planning on 8 colas per plant. Thanks for all the feed back.

The yields really depends on the number of colas and your chosen strain. I've seen some impressive mainline grows. 🤘😤

Another great week for the gurls. Buds are swelling up and it's so dam frosty....lmao Should be another 2 weeks before I take them down. But with the "mylar extension" idea I might do 2 pulls off them. The lower buds sites have been exploding but we'll have wait and see if they produce. Hence the"idea" lol.

Awesome week... The girls are really shining. By the look of the trichs it might be Xmas day harvest. And might be looking into a double harvest this time. Do to beginner/shotty low trimming I had a lot of low growth so that's we're wrapping them in Mylar idea came from. Brought all my light down to soil. So low growth grew and might produce decently for a second pull in 2 weeks or less. We shall see...

The grow went awesome. Of coarse I would of likes a way bigger yield. But the quality is definitely there. So for a true beginner granddaddy banner is recommended. It's very easy to work with. Plants bounced back from topping, trimming and lsting. Very resilient strain. I had 0% disease.
