End of second week. Quite a few things happened: - The small A/C unit I added to the tent didn't have any impact on the temperature and as the week went by, temperatures outside kept rising as did the temperatures in the tent. It reached 36-37 degrees on the worst day. It has now dropped to around 32-33 degrees when the tent is open but it is still too hot. I added some silica solution to my water to help strengthen the structure of the plants, but I know this won't be a long term solution. I uploaded a few pictures where you can see one plant that has almost all her leaves that are strongly cupping upwards. On another picture there are some heat burn marks on some leaves. I guess I have made my peace with the fact that this 1st run will not be optimal due to this temperature problem. BUT surprisingly only 3 plants seem to be impacted by this problem. The others are healthy and growing rapidly! - During my first week, I had to place some tutors to help the seedlings stand straight because of my stretching problem (see comment week 1). You can see on one of the pics that one plant is very small and crippled. Well, that is because I'm not very smart sometimes. I used some regular rope to attach the plant to the tutor and didn't check on the stem of this plant for a few days. What had to happen happened and as the stem kept thickening, the rope started chocking the stem. I don't think that this plant will recover, but at least I learned a valuable lesson for my next grows. - I'm still not sure when to start LST. I think I'll wait another few days and then I'll start training my babies. That's all for this week!

Hi! My plants are in their 2nd week of flowering and some of the leaves at the bottom of the plant (very few in the middle) are starting to turn yellow and they look kind of lifeless. It's very dense in the tent so maybe they don't have enough light? or lack of nutrients ?

It’s a nutrient defincency, nothing to care to much, natural life cicle of the plant that in the start of the flowering start eating a little bit more nutrient . The signs i can read is Mg definciency for the yellowing not on the veins, the necrosis on the first photo can be Calcium ( related to the Mg)

As I don't have any magnifying glass or microscope to check the trichomes, I'm relying on the color of the pistils to evaluate the maturity of the plants. However, as it is my first grow, I don't really now if they are ready for a flushing. What do you think ?

flushing is an urban myth. Your plant looks a little over-nuted with the glossiness, if true in real life and not the photo tricking me. (canoeing, some tip burn etc.. it's got more than enough) So, you could benefit from a few water-only irrigations. I'd simply resume if it isn't harvest time after that, but with 1/2 strength and go fro there... soil should retian nutrients well, so flushing for 10-14 days isn't unusual. I'd wait for buds to look about ripe, then start. That's typically how long nit takes the trichomes to mature in my experience, 10-14 days.

they look fantastic for a start. Well done. The leaves are definitely starting to fade. You don't need to fill ya pots with shit loads of water to flush, your on easy street kid just water now until true fade approx 14 days?. she is still producing some white pistols from calyx so trichomes should be bang on look really nice plants 👌
