First grow from day 0, White Widow Auto

Day 1 3 seeds out of 3 germinated in about 3 days, with Easy Start from RQS. Planted two of them in Atami Bio Grow Mix soil. Lamp is set to be on from 8pm to 2pm, for a 18-6 cycle. No ventilation yet, will be on soon. Poured just a tiny bit of water on the area around the seeds, let's see how they like it. Day 2 All good, a bit hot, around 30°C but temperatures will go down by day 6-7, hopefully everything will be ok. Day 3 All good, maybe they're stretching a bit? Who knows. Day 4 All good, ventilation was turned on on day 2, forgot to write it. Day 5 All good, I've watered them yesterday for the second time since germination, only half a glass each, only around the plant, that seems to be enough. Doing that I kind of tilted the top left plant but it's nothing serious, I think she'll gain her upright position back soon. Temperatures are slightly decreasing, luckily. Also, the bottom right one seems to be a bit ahead in terms of growth. Day 6 All good, bottom right clearly ahead but I'm happy with both. Day 7 Watered them yesterday, half a glass each, all good today except that the bottom right one is self training, let's say. I think it's stretched a bit in the past few days and the leaves got too heavy for her. Since she looks healthy I'm not worrying.

Day 8 - All good, bottom right is recovering and re-gaining height. Day 9 - All good, bottom right almost recovered, still slightly ahead. Day 10 - All good. Soil's moist in the picture because I've just sprayed water on them, less than half a glass each. Day 11 - Everything's fine, I think I'm happy with how they're growing. Day 12 - All good, watered both of them with a glass each. Day 13 - All going well, slightly rearranged their position in the grow box. Day 14 - All good and another week is starting!

Day 15 - All good. Day 16 - Left plant a bit drooping, I've watered it with half a glass of water. I guess it's underwatering because I'm being really careful with water in these first weeks, probably too much. Day 17 - All good, left plant's recovered, it must have been underwatered. With how they're growing I think I'll be safe FIMing at the end of this week. Day 18 - Left plant drooping again, I think it's time I start watering them properly, I'll start with a full glass each and increase from here. Day 19 - Left plant recovered, but only for half a day, in the picture it's drooping again. I'm not really sure what it is, hopefully it'll heal itself? Is that a thing? Day 20 - Same issue but since it's not that bad I'll ignore it, also because I have no idea what I could do. Maybe tomorrow I'll FIM them. Day 21 - We've entered our flowering phase, there's a few pistils here and there and a faint smell. I suppose it's too late to FIM, not really sure if I wanna try some LST, we'll see. It's my first grow from scratch anyway so I wouldn't be too upset at leaving it natural.

Day 22 - Did some LST eventually, it looked so easy I wanted to try it. A few pistils showed up on the left plant, too. Day 23 - Watered them with around 500ml each, no nutrients yet, until runoff. Obviously the left plant didn't like it and now it's drooping more than ever... The right one is still healthy. I'll be more careful next time. Day 24 - The left one has recovered from drooping. Both growing well, the right one is already rebelling to LST, I'll bend it again as soon as possible. I'll also add a few nutrients next time I water them since I can spot some light yellowing. Day 25 - All good Day 26 - All good, the left one seems to already have lost the main cola, with a different one going higher. Day 27 - All good, watered both of them with around 500ml of water and 2ml/l of nutrients. The left one would have liked a bit less water. Day 28 - All good, trained both of them a bit after the picture. Interesting how the left one seems to already have several "main" colas while the right one is sticking to one, maybe two.

Day 29 - All good, trained them a bit more, you can the result it in the pictures. Day 30 - Watered them with 500ml each, all good. Day 31 - Again, left plant slightly drooping but in general looking good, lots of bud sites! I'll give her slightly less water the day after tomorrow probably, and maybe skip nutrients. Day 32 - All good, some more training. Day 33 - All good. Left one with more buds but the right one seems to be developing fatter ones. Day 34 - All good, watering in the morning with the usual bit of nutrients. I've tried to give a little less water to the left one. Day 35 - All good.

Day 36 - All good, you can see how the left one is either responding better to training/being trained better/less main cola dominant. It's also slightly behind in terms of growth. The right one instead seems to be developing fewer but fatter colas. Happy with both. Day 37 - All good, I'll check if the soil is humid but I think I'll water them tonight. Day 38 - I watered them yesterday evening with 500ml each, with nutrients. The left one handled it better this time. Day 39 - All good. Day 40 - All good. Day 41 - Watered them in the morning with the usual 500ml each, which is basically until runoff. The left one keeps getting a little taller, with more colas, while the right one is slightly shorter, with fewer but fatter buds. I guess that's ok with me .-. Day 42 - A little training on the left one, all good.

Day 43 - All good Day 44 - All good, I watered them in the morning. They're starting to like a bit more than 500ml each. Day 45 - All good, I haven't trained them in a few days since they look stable and buds are more or less at the same height. The main cola of the right one is a bit higher than the rest ma not too much and I wouldn't want bend the bud anyway. Day 46 - Everything's fine. Day 47 - More or less all ok, some yellowing in the bottom part of the left one, which makes sense since there's not much light there. What I like less is the yellowing on some leaves of the right one, I think I'll skip nutrients for tonight, when they'll be watered. This should help with yellowing on the tips of her leaves. Day 48 - All good, watered them yesterday evening, no nutrients for once, no drooping. Day 49 - All good, I feel they're about to stretch up.

Day 50 - All good, you can see some first brown pistils on the right one. I'll water them later today. Day 51 - All good, I'm not training them anymore because there's not much to train in my opinion. Most of the buds are level. Day 52 - All good, yellowing is spreading, especially at the bottom of the left plant but I suppose it's ok since we're not that far from the end of flowering. I wonder how much the buds will grow, they look tiny at the moment. Day 53 - All good, they'll be watered tomorrow morning. Day 54 - All good, watered in the morning with around 600ml each, no more nutrients from now. Day 55 - No news, good news. Day 56 - All good, I really like how the left one responded to training and how she looks in general. I've also removed some dead leaves right after the picture so she'll be even prettier. The right one instead was a worse "LST" student, I like her fat main bud tho.

Day 57 - All good. Day 58 - All good, watered the left one in the morning, the right one didn't need it yet. Day 59 - All good, slowly getting denser. Day 60 - All good, watered both of them in the morning with about 700ml each, a bit too much for the right one. Day 61 - Some leaves aren't looking too good, especially on the right plant. Luckily we're not far from harvest. Day 62 - All good, I took another close-up of the trichomes on the right one. I'd say it needs a full week more or less. Day 63 - All good.

Day 64 - Fattening and yellowing. Watered the left one in the morning, the right one didn't need it yet. Will this be harvesting week for the right one? I'm not too confident about it but would be nice :) Day 65 - No big news. Day 66 - All good, the trichome picture shows how the right plant isn't too far from harvest anymore. Maybe end of this week. Day 67 - All good, will water both tonight. Day 68 - All good. I've harvested a couple of minor buds from the right one, it's a bit too early but my stash is running very low. The amount is about 8 grams wet, which I assume will be 2-3 when dry. Day 69 - All good, the top buds of the right one are almost there. I'll harvest in different stages, almost bud by bud, when they're at their best. The left one won't be touched until the end of week 8 I believe. She still has too many white hairs for my tastes. Day 70 - All good.

Day 71 - All good, this is harvest week for the right one. I've taken down another bud today, weighing about 8 grams wet. Day 72 - All good. Day 73 - No big news. Day 74 - Watering in the morning, all good. Day 75 - All good, harvested some more minor buds from the right one, for another 12 grams, wet. The main one has had a little new growth in the last two days so we'll wait one day or two more. Day 76 - No news, all good. Day 77 - Nothing changed, the left plant buds are getting fatter but still have too many white hairs so it'll have to wait until the end of next week I'd guess.

Day 78 - All good. Day 79 - All good. Day 80 - All good, watered the left one in the evening with about 800ml. Day 81 - All good, I've harvested the right plant. Nice buds, very dense. The total amount harvested between today and the previous days is equal to 71g, wet. I estimate they'll be more or less 18-20 grams when dry. Not a lot, but since it's my first grow and I have another plant I'm happy. Probably next time I'll use nutrients better, even in the very first phases of growth. Day 82 - All good, last day of flowering for the left one as well, she'll go down tomorrow :) Day 83 - The left plant came down as well, for a total of 80 grams, wet. I'll come back in a few weeks, when curing is done, for a harvest post!

Happy with this grow, especially considering it's my first one, even though I was expecting and would have liked a bigger yield. If anyone knows how I could have done better please share! The high is nice, with a stoned, relaxing effect that makes me focused and chilled. Smell and taste have never been too intense but after curing for about a month are nice, woody, with earthy/musky notes. My next grow will use the same setup, with two RQS Purple Queen Automatic plants.
