Not a good week, had issues with caterpillars again. Been going around the plant shaking it to make them drop off then killing them one by one. Killed 9 so far, hoping to not find anymore as these seem to be eating holes in the stem and completely destroying certain areas. Only positive I can see from it is that they've eaten a lot of the bud sites, fingers crossed that accelerates the reveg, not happy that it's budding with 15 hours of daylight. MUCH prefer indoor at this point since all of these variables are controllable compared to the shit show I've had with outdoor so far.

From what I've researched Civil Twilight provides enough lux for plants to sense light, does that mean I'm getting about 13 hours and 27 minutes of daylight?

yes your right. if you want total darkness right now you would either cover your plant form the extra light or put it indoors. the light will change later this month and your plant(s) will then trigger to go to flower. by having the 13h 27min going the plant will grow and continue to veg until the 12/12 cycle and the plant will transition into flower hope that confirms what you know

What is my plant doing? the days are almost 15 hours long so I don't understand why it's budding still, I expected it to reveg by now but no sign of rounded single leaves still. The days are getting longer not shorter, end of next month is when the days start getting shorter.

Hi there, I had finished a revegging plant. It took me about one or two weeks before she showed any re vegging sign. When she starts re vegging, she will show abnormal leaves growth coming out from the buds.I would like you to recommend to put extra light after sunset and give her more light hour.I gave 24 hours of light at the first few weeks of re vegging.Happy growing... ✌️

Bottom of plant not looking too good, can't tell if from lack of light, over/under watering or the start of a nitrogen deficiency, plants been in super soil for 9 weeks so not sure if nitrogen is getting low. Started to look rough about a week ago

Well, EFF ME! I would like to give you a medal for the most honest title to a question ever! Well done mate! That lower shitty/spindly growth is a result of them not getting enough light. Due to your SCRoG system, your plant has developed a very dense canopy and this results in too little light getting through to those lower and inner sections. I would recommend some "lollipopping" of the branches and to remove the small spindly growth all together. This way your plant will no longer be wasting her energy with growing the smaller/inner branches. After removing all the little bits that will never grow into decent flowers, the top parts that are receiving the most sun will then flourish, without the energy drain that those small inner branches are causing. I doubt much of that inner growth was producing any worthwhile energy due to being so shaded, so to remove them should not cause too much "shock" to the rest of your plant. Once only the tops are left, growth should increase, as the tops are getting most of the sun, meaning that they are also producing most of your plants energy, so the removal of the inner growth should produce no problems due to a reduction in energy production. Otherwise your plants look healthy enough and don't seem to be lacking any nutrition. If you are unfamiliar with "lollipopping", I'm sure there would be plenty of demos on youtube. I also agree with you about starting seeds directly in soil, no need to cater to namby pamby weak seedlings. Plus there is less chance of damage, no transplant issues, they get nutrients from the instant they are "born", they are not drowning in a glass of water, they are not growing one way in relation to gravity then another when they are planted, they are just doing it themselves - just like nature intended! Hope this helps,.... Organoman. P.S. - if you want an awesome organic product to use on your super soil, try "Bio-Vega" by Bio-Canna. Effing excellent, but half strength is plenty.

Hopefully she makes some more bud ive never heard of this fungal disease untill now best of luck to you.

Ferelitecommented4 years ago
@Tree_man, I'm hoping so too, It's pretty uncommon in cannabis, it's similar to verticillium wilt which is a fungal disease. Most people have dealt with pythium (root rot) which is a parasite, typically you'd kill infected plants and discard the soil but i've been experimenting with mycorrhizal fungi to control the outbreak which seems to be working to keep the plant alive.

Geez that’s a shame mate. Is there enough time to go again this year?
Ferelite
Ferelitecommented4 years ago
@Shooey, not really at this stage, only autos if I did another fem it'd turn out tiny with how many hrs of light there is now

Hey mate. Its a long ass grow! 20 weeks of veg. Although i think i saw it went to flower early then revegged right? This could be why you are getting some yellow leaves too. I use bio Vega too. Its pretty good, but i found i needed a little something else as well when i get into trouble. Are u in oz? Dare i say it but,,,, a feed or 2 of powerfeed can help get em back on track. Normally not my fav but is has got me out of the shit before. I find the bio flores and boost awesome, but the vega i dont reckon is complete enough to be a stand alone feed. After 20 weeks there may not be much feed left in the soil. Just my 2 bob mate. Cheers👍🏼

@Shooey, Yeah I know hate that it's been 20 weeks now. Prematurely budded a while back because of where I had it, wasn't getting enough light throughout the day so it thought it was time to bud. I think the soil is getting exhausted as well, i've got some powerfeed and nitrosol that i use on my chilli's so I might give that a crack, the bio-vega seems good but totally agree seems like a preventative nutrient not a concentrate, still very good stuff love Canna products, what I used to use in hydro. Will feed tonight with a normal dose of powerfeed then will see how it goes, if it doesn't bounce back will up the dose a little, thanks mate 👍

That is bud rot not that it matters now. Cause to much humidity and pests creating open wounds. Solution at the first signs carefully remove the plant from others put a bag over the entire infected branch and seal with a pull tie then amputate the branch then treat with anti fungal spray and pray
