I bet no one is growing what I’ve got, wait what do I got? Mystery unreleased Xs cultivar still in testing. To my knowledge this might be it’s first documented grow. Seeds were soaked exactly 7 days ago in Vitathrive, 2 of 2 successfully on to Stage 3, taking seedlings to puberty.
Humidity is currently low, initially mitigated by using a dome but with both tents in the same room priority was given to the flower tent. I should very well introduced the humidifier here shortly to get that RH to 60%.
Initial Observations, one wants to stretch the other has remained shorter both loving life.
Well 14 days from the day the seeds germinated and they look pretty and healthy. Two distinct plants solely by their height. One seems to be stuck in a funk should shake it out this week to catch up her sister. If not I fear the other will far outpace the other. I had a video but it won’t upload, maybe next week.
The ratios for the mix isn’t quite as possible entered. Gaia recommendations are in TBSP and up top is TSP. Essentially what I did is calculated recommended rations cut back by 20% and added 1 gallon of EWC with Clonex Mycorrhizae pre-mixed into my Coco/perlite.
Cheers!!
Videos explains it briefly how they look so on the environmental side I’ve only been monitoring RH and temps. They’ve been sitting at 55-60 RH and 80-82 F. I separated the 4 plants as they were now overlapping in the 2x2’ section. They were transplanted in 2 gallon pots last week and by the looks of the Beast at most 2 weeks and she will fill that pot no problemo. I need to get them to 5 gallons before switching to flower.
It starts with good genetics I couldn’t be any happier with the Beast, still amazes me daily.
What happened this week?! Well it started with LST finished with a Bang and the same two words keep coming out of my mouth - God Damn!!! The stalks say it all.
Stay Safe, Stay True.
Transplanted 7 days ago they are back into high gear. Two different phenos is nice to see also nice to be back in flowering with colder weather on the horizon. Regular Gaia Green amendment mix of 4-4-4, 2-8-4, kelp meal, EWC & Glacial Rock Dust. No issues with Mg, finally solved with the rock dust.
Plants looks out of shape ever so slightly it’s cause I’ve been leaf tucking. No under carriage bs going on here and I only removed dozen lower nodes on the biggest that’s it. Trying to maintain plant height will be near impossible, plant elevators will be a must.
Still no signs of pistils I’ll need to look under canopy further to see. The higher PK food will be kicking in just now and should help with the shift in priorities.
Both drink 1.5L every 2 day's at Day 35
Not much has changed from the previous week, lower and inner nodes were starting to form and was quick to remove all that. From the previous run there wasn’t enough light to penetrate underneath the thick canopy therefore only aiming at quads for this go and removing all little stuff. With that said, yield might be impacted but not my main concern as quality is always a priority.
Should see those cotton balls forming over the course of these next 7 days.
Cheers

Marking time now, we estimated 5 weeks to go... Signs of frost coming in hot.
Gaia top dress came in slightly too hot, shes been fed plenty. Requires calcium in high demand, note to self.
Did some severe defoliation as these girls stretched about 8” and attempting at best light pen.
One girl is significantly More beautiful and has been the easiest plant to grow. I am curious which traits of this one resemble one of the two parents???
Surely 3-4 weeks seems a reality for an early harvest, another bonus!
One already cut of calmag and the other another 3 weeks to flourish. Two completely different phenos and very interesting terps profile. These are not done from bulking, 🎄
Easy peasy to grow, very resilient cultivar, parent genetics were wisely chosen by @BudXs to produce Donkey size buds along with density and quality 🙌
GHL Out!
