Getting back into the hobby and it feels like I'm starting all over again! Followed cropking's instructions and everything popped a day after soaking. I started another 2 a day after the first 2 and the last one accidentally was planted too deep, will learn from that for next time. Started under T6 CFLs in a promix knockoff Sunshine mix #4 + some coco coir for fun
Transplanted into their final pots and switched to MH because I was bored. I definitely had the lights too low at 16" and moved them up to 20" and it may still have been too close even at 50%(300w) light. Found this nice drain tray on the side of the road and put it to use
Almost to week 3 and no more problems with light intensity or heat. Had some GH organics grow and bloom but decided not to use them due to previous experience. I will use some of the rest of the organics line because I bought one of the go boxes just to have the extras. All of the diaries that used megacrop looked pretty good so I decided to try it out. Organic nutrients just dont seem to be available to the plant quick enough even with strong mycorrhizal presence

Normally you should wait until 5-6 nodes has grown and this has been tested by growers and this is generally "safe spot" 'cos the plant has grown good root structure by then and can handle the huge stress that the start of the mainlining reguires (Stripping almost everything) Then you top to 3rd node and remove everything except the two branches in the third node and the supporting fan leafs
Should I bother growing the 3rd and 4th plants I have fully? They don't seem nearly as strong as the first two, would I be better off cloning the two stronger plants provided they turn out female?
Hey RezLife, these are totally fine to keep so far. So basically at this stage in the grow cycle most of the plant's work is happening in the root zone which you can really see, that's why most folks get impatient, but think of it this way : big roots big plants. Remember : you're watching a plant grow so it's not gonna be exciting at all times lol, hope this helps ! 🚀
as you are3 growing feminised Seeds, they all will be Girls....
and it depends waht you want to do with your plants... if you want multiple grow your girls as clones, you take the strongest as mother.
Or the ones that performs best.
But personally I wont give up on a plant that eraly....
Its often to see, that seeds from same package, perform different. But that has nothing to mean in this stage of grow

Checked out your diary and there's no reason to get rid of plants 3 & 4, you have to remember even though they are the same strain every plant grows differently. Honestly, they look right on schedule for 3 weeks, within the next week or two you'll notice the growth. Topped them and started training preparing for a manifold. I gave the struggling two superthrive and one of them got a boost from it but seems to be short lived. They are still way behind the strongest two. Will probably be able to go for 16 main stalks on the bigger two while waiting for the smaller 2 to catch up
Going well with the support rings so far, back ones are still lagging but one is catching up. They have less spacing between nodes but almost the same number of nodes as the larger plants.
Flipped to 12/12 and the leading plant was thrilled, instantly started producing more pistils the 2nd day with seemingly no transition stress and seems to be growing an inch a day. The other 3 are not reacting like this yet. I also really don't understand how to use the nutrient measurements when the site keeps changing what i type in and doesn't offer a gram measurement as I am using mostly powdered nutrients
