It's over. Personally, I hate when the destination is in reach or journey ends. Blah! Non the less...that's mean new beginning, but first things first.
Thanks to Almighty, thanks to Mother Earth and thanks to RQS and the big community here. Thank you!
Started as a side project with just the idea to build a grow cabinet. A fully automated one! One, which monitors temperatures of light sources, fans speed, soil moisture, detecting humans being around and record their actions. Hey, that's my actions! :)
When things getting clear about COVID-19, and especially the part, that it will be with us for a little while longer. I take actions, quick actions, lightning fast actions to sketch the idea for the controller and the other parts. In the process of speeding things, I've made a couple of mistakes:
Such as, but not limited to:
1. Choose wrong cabinet size, as I have tiny space for stealth grow and options were very sparse.
2. Choose wrong strain for beginners, as I don’t know what to expect, but I've wanted something different.
3. Choose wrong pot size for that strain /in my opinion/. It did not require such a big and /relatively/ tall pot, at least for the start. Big pot gave me slow start, as I always was in wondering how to water, properly. Damn…I had to transplant gently. We do it on tomato’s, twice… 😊
4. Decide to start VEG with CCFL lights, huge ones, 40W each. Bullcrap! The plant starts vigorously. When I leave for work there is nothing on the surface and then - boooom! I have not seen such a desire to grow in one day! Then it's stops when later that day I moved it to the cabinet. Stop?!? I mean HALT, like it was hammered down. Maybe it was stunned, or I don't know what. Stem was thin, thin and looking very weak, I was very worry. It’s never a good sign. We have a word for that in our language.
5. Initial plan was to use topping as training, later to be accompanied by screen, but I get scared off to do it, because that's was the last thing she wants. Wrong! I should have taken the crown earlier! Training was switched to LST, but I had to stick with HST instead. Suddenly she was happy, I was happy...stem size almost doubles its size. Double Wrong! Non the less branches were thin and still looking fragile. They also strech like hell and I did not know what to do, as they are getting closer and closer to the top.
6. Decide to install the screen. That's goes well, or is it?!? That did not restrain her and she was looking to meet the light source face-to-face. Until the day when I was trying to rearrange the screen and move main cola one square further. Wrong! I was very distracted and did not pay enough attention. The crown fell off by my rude hands. It's snaps like it was matchbox, like dry wood, like nothing to expect from a living plant. Shame! It overwhelms me. Nothing can erase such a shame...especially in week 8. I've practically killed her and was about to be a King without a Queen, a Purple one in particular, a crippled one…
Soooo, please avoid my mistakes!!! If the diary is to be used as an example, you can use it as BAD or WRONG example :) :) :)
Defiantly I recommend the strain, it will give you incredible color show, very nice buds and awesome scent. I’m intoxicated by her smell. Very sweet, fruity and flowery like, you can almost take a slice from the air. In fact I’ve returned coupled of times to taste the smell in the dryer. That’s why you should have a decent breakfast 😊 😊 😊
One last step remains and you know what that is…I will be the king on the throne, like Spragga and Rodney P, hoo, hooli, hoooooligans...

Stay safe and don’t panic it’s…
Hi there! Totally newbie here :) I've used paper towel method to germinate. After two days I've transferred it to the pot. I was amazed, because after nearly a day and a half it was taking first sun bath :) Today is day 3, but it's seems like stopped/stunned some how. Or it's my mind playing tricks :) Anyway...I think that it will be a fun journey, because that's the idea :)
