Plan: Vegetate in the 1.5 gallon bucket until the sixth node, then top it at the 4th node. Then each new branch gets FIM'ed at the 4th node. No mainlining, just LST all new branches. After 3-4 weeks, move into the 5 gallon smart pot. Keep up the LST until the 8th week, or until I'm happy with the spread. Once satisfied, flower out until matured. There is a possibility I might move this into the basement to flower, but that's if I decide to start a perpetual grow with photoperiods. 10/9/20: Power Africa is showing a little root, perhaps tomorrow it will be ready for planting. 11/9/20: Power Africa is ready for soil, but I'm too lazy to get dirt ready today, so that will be my morning task. 12/9/20: Planted the Power Africa into its first home. 4-5 weeks in this bucket, and then moved into a 5 gallon smart pot. 3 more weeks of vegetative growth, and a lot of training, then it's fine for flowering. That should bring it to November, so a nice cool temperature to bring out any purples. 13/9/20: Watered everyone under the Vivosun, as there should still be residual nutrients left in the soil. Gave the Budroom their first dose of nutrients. Very early for the Power Africa, but I want to try something. The PK and Super Skunk are doing very well, so the growth over the next few days will be monitored very closely. 14/9/20: All plants in the Budroom took the dose of nutrients well, even the very young Power Africa. The PK is just about to spread it's growth over the sides of the cup, tips are already there. Super Skunk is much larger, quite a noticeable amount. I might keep both the Super Skunk Auto and the Power Africa Fast up in the Budroom, and that will allow me to have more options to go in the perpetual tent downstairs. I am toying with the idea of getting another tent to put out in the garage. It will be for drying the outdoor harvest, and then be used to grow in the winter. I would use it as a place to either hold a mother, or simply grow one massive plant by itself. The tent will be purchased regardless for drying, it's just the growing portion that is not finalized yet. 15/9/20: Watered the Sweet Cheese and White Widow, but no nutrients. All the photos seem be doing well, on their transition to flowering, even though it's only been a week. I did not give them a 24 hour period of darkness to jump start it, but I think the shock of seeing some dark for the first time after 2 months was enough of a kickstart on it's own. The stretch is noticeable, as is the growth of a lot more pistils. I have plenty of room for them to stretch, so I'm not worried about that at all.

19/9/20: Fed everyone today. The only one needing anything was the PK, as it's cup was very dry. I will start to leave a little leftover nutrient water to give it the following day. That way it will survive between the feedings of the other plants. If I stick to this current watering schedule, I will need to cut back on the amounts for the small pots. Freedom Kush is planted, and also above the surface. It still has helmet head, so I will give it another full day to try and shed it naturally. Northern Lights has a nice 1/2 inch root showing, I will be planting it today. Change of plans with this one. I will keep it upstairs until pre-flower, then move it into the basement. I did some reading, and 12/12 might cause the plant to be dwarfed. I currently have room to veg it out, but it won't last too long. Just long enough to get this one going until flower. 20/9/20: Super Skunk Auto is looking fantastic, huge growth since yesterday, nearly an inch in leaf lengthening. I'm going to try and wait until the 3rd week before I start to apply any LST. Power Africa is also starting to show great improvement in its growth. New node is coming along nicely, little leaves are much larger. Freedom Kush was still in its shell this morning, so I removed it. Some membrane was still attached, so I removed that as well. I'm going to start using my GoPro to record all the doctoring I do to these plants. Helmet head is a common occurrence for me, since I don't sow the seeds deep enough. PK has really perked up from yesterday, no longer droopy. I assume that was from drying out, as he bounced back very quickly. I will make sure his cup has water every day. Northern Lights is still under the surface, which is not surprising. I don't expect him out for at least two more full days. 21/9/20: Everyone is looking great. Super Skunk is getting huge, just as the Power Africa is. The Northern Lights is above soil, but I removed a portion of the shell from the tip of the leaves. 98% positive it would have come off naturally, but I didn't want to risk it, or wait for it. *Update* It us now open to the world, so today is counted as day 1. Purple Kush is still chugging along. The 5th node is coming along nicely, and the 6th will be making it's presence shortly. I might just go ahead and FIM it now, instead of waiting to top it at the 4 node. If I do anything today, I will leave an update. 24/9/20: Fed everyone in the tent, even the Northern Lights and Freedom Kush. Day 2 - Both the new plants have received nutrients from their birth, so I'm looking to see if it has any affects on them at all. So far they look great, for only being a few days old that is. Day 15 - Super Skunk is still pleasing me with it's explosive growth. It's large enough I'm considering the start of it's LST. I am trying to hold off another week, but I might not make it that long. Day 11 - Power Africa is starting to take off in it's growth. It started very slowly, and I thought it might not have made it, but she held on. In a few days, her leaves should be stretched out over the sides of the pot. It might be time to top her sooner than I had thought. Day 10 - PK is doing well. 6th node is just starting to come in, so I think it's time to be topped. I'm tempted to go down to the 3rd node, as it looks like it would produce 4 nice branches from beneath. I will contemplate this further, as I want the best for this one. It really depends if I want 4 colas, or more. As it's a solo cup grow, I should not try for something too extravagant, until I know I can even flower one out. *UPDATE* She was topped at the 4th node. I'm hoping the 4 lower branches start to take over. I only have a little more than two weeks left of vegetation before I switch it to flower. I will do some more pruning in another week or so, to try and get an even canopy, along with the required training. 26/9/20: Power Africa is really putting on the growth. I'm tempted to top it now, but I know it's too soon. One more week, and it should be good to go. Super Skunk received some good tucking of leaves, as I decided not to do any training. I know the plant stays short and bushy as it is, so some leaf tucking should really allow those lower branches to receive plenty of light. Northern Lights is still growing well. It shows some odd leaf formation, but nothing I haven't seen before, so for right now, I won't attribute that to the early nutrients. Freedom Kush is looking good. I have no idea how this one will turn out, but it will be worth the wait. Purple Kush is reacting well to the stress of being topped. I can see the lower branches are longer, and the new growth is already starting. I will prepare the sides of the cup with small holes to handle the upcoming training. It won't be much, just enough to hold the new growth back.

26/9/20: Fed everyone, even though not everyone actually needed it. I need to start remembering to leave extra nutrient water aside for the PK, as it needs extra watering the next day. Power Africa is really putting on the growth. I can see the lower branches are longer, and the new growth is already starting. I will prepare the sides of the cup with small holes to handle the upcoming training. It won't be much, just enough to hold the new growth back. 27/9/20: PK Solo is bouncing back very quickly. The new shoots are twice as long as yesterday, and will be up in the limelight very soon. Decided to tie back some leaves, as there is no place to tuck them. Super Skunk reacted well to the tucking of leaves, and the lower shoots are almost even with the top. I will continue to monitor it's growth, and tuck more leaves as necessary to reduce the need for additional training. Power Africa is moving along at light speed, and will soon require transplant. The idea of topping is really playing on my mind, and I believe I will do it very soon. Even though it's still very young, it's growth is showing that it is ready. If I move quickly, it will be a cleaner looking plant. **UPDATE** I topped the Power Africa, as well as tied down some leaves. I couldn't keep them tucked on their own, so I used plant ties to anchor them in. Once lower growth branches out, I will unhook the leaves, and start tying back the branches. Lower plant is now exposed to light, so I should see some explosive growth in the next few days. 29/9/20: Fed everyone, with the Northern Lights and Power Africa receiving enough water to flood the tray. Purple Kush is still holding strong, with only a few lower leaves getting pale. Freedom Kush is showing good promise so far. Super Skunk is slowing down it's vertical growth, and pushing the lower branches out higher. Im torn between which dry amendment I should purchase, as they both have their merits. Gaia Green requires less applications, but more strategic planning on when to apply, as it lasts for 30 days. Geoflora requires twice as many applications, but is more easily to plan feedings as it lasts for only 2 weeks. I think I will just have to get both, and do a side by side comparison. The only way I will know for sure. One might be better than the other, or they might be the same. The Geoflora system has slightly higher NPK ratios. The continued use of Terpenoid Boosters will be the only thing that is the same, other than strain. Possibly switching to, or at least trying out, Purpinator. 30/9/20: Everyone is looking fantastic. Super Skunk is bushier than ever, an excellent quality in my opinion. Purple Kush is showing me an excellent structure. The too growth still isn't quite long enough to tie back, but almost. The lower branches will be needing some tending to in the next couple of days. Freedom Kush is doing better than expected, and I'm glad. Northern Lights is showing some better leaf formation now. The addition of nutrients from the start seems to be working well, with no visible signs of harm. Power Africa received a little trimming today, in the firm of defoliating of some large fan leaves. They were extremely large and in the way, and tucking just wasn't an option anymore. I was planning on waiting to replant after 4 weeks, but I think I might have to do it after 3 instead. 30/9/10: Power Africa received a little trimming today, in the firm of defoliating of some large fan leaves. They were extremely large and in the way, and tucking just wasn't an option anymore. I was planning on waiting to replant after 4 weeks, but I think I might have to do it after 3 instead. 2/10/20: Soil is still far to moist to require a watering. Early transplant is still being considered, but I'm going to try and hold off. The desire to switch it over to Gaia Green is very strong, but I'm trying to stick with the liquid nutrients. 3/10/20: As it was looking very bushy after Wednesdays defoliation, I decided to remove the remaining two large leaves and LST some branches. Unfortunately, I was a little too rough and had suffered my first damaged branch. Up to now, I have always been careful with my LST, I've never snapped a branch, or even had it start to split away, they had all gone smoothly. Until now that is. More care will be taken next time. I was thinking about transplanting today, but after the damage branch, I will wait at least two or three days before I decide to move her at all.

7/10/20: Received a thorough watering as it was quite dry. New growth is looking good, and it will soon be time for a transplant. I could probably let it go 5 or 6 full weeks in the black bucket air pots, but I will experiment with that later on. 8/10/20: It seems to have spread out a lot overnight. The water must have given it a quick boost to grow. I'm eager to transplant, but I know there is still plenty of room for the roots. I can see some sticking out the sides of the holes, but not enough to show that it's out of room.

After some abuse, I finally transplanted the Power Africa into a 5 gallon smart pot. I will need to build a device that holds not only the planter, but also a way to employ LST and ScrOG easily. Use wood, go with the design in mind.

Power Bloom - Gaia Green
Power Bloom 3.906 mll
11/11/20: Moved into SilverStar tent to begin flowering. I may need to take a few cuttings tomorrow, other than that, it won't get any more treatment until harvest. I decided to go full on lazy and start feeding with Gaia Green Power Bloom. I was going to reserve the dry amendment nutrients for autoflowers only, but I figured I plan on switching over eventually, might as well try some now. 14/11/20: Gave a thorough watering. I won't take any cuttings from this plant, it will flower out the way it is. Pruning will be a necessity, as there are a couple low branches that won't be doing any good. Growth is very tight and compact, looking forward to growing this again, with one massive difference, I will actually try my best. 16/11/20: Pot is still holding lots of moisture, which is no surprise, I have it a heavy watering. Stretching has begun, I can really see it in a few branches. The one branch that was clumped, is still clumped. I'm eager to see how that cola turns out. I will be counting out 2 ways for flowering. Today will be the start of the first round, and the second round starts when I see the production of buds. 17/11/20: I noticed that the main branch has a mutation or an oddity. It tried splitting into two, but somehow remained fused together, making one extra thick stalk. It's flat, like a shoelace. Keep an extra tight eye on that, as I think it will produce an extremely nice bud.
