First week. After a few months where I couldnt grow, Im trying finally some Purple Lemonades I had planned for some time now. Its a very small space (60x60) and the light option I chose (cfl200) doesnt feel like its going to be the big thing, but I want to keep it small and discrete. They are in a complete mix soil, but Im still adding already some BioGrow eventually, also put some Micorricae around the jiffy on day one.
Week one is always boring. So far they have done ok, still think I could maybe feed them more already..
Helps and hints are more than welcome! :)
All three plants grow similar in time, but n1 and 3 look almost the same and n2 is about 5cm shorter, still looks a little bit delicate, but reminds me of a dutch passion mazar i grew in my first grow, which looked shitty but exploded out of nowhere during first weeks of bloom, so lets see! Watering once a day and trying to keep the big pots of soil as moisty as i can. So far so good, guess the fun will start inthe upcoming days. LST coming soon on 1 and 3..
Day 16: Starting LST with 1 and 3, which are doing great. Shortybis not doing well. Problem is I dont know if its an excess, need, or just life...
Day17: Taking advice direct from the breeder, shorty gets only water (and good one) and a less windy enviroment. 1 and 3 keep as planned. About 0,25/0,33l daily.
Day 18 : shorty gets ph6,2 water with mycorricae, 1 and 3 start to smell and have preflower already. Already a little smelly, quite promising (fuck, it smells amazing, really special, even addictive!)
Day 19: soil looks quite moisty, no watering today. 1 and 3 doing good, shorty doesnt inspire health nor happines, but she doesnt give up. Doing minor LST on her, just to see if she gets better or worse. Shorty and n3 have both gotten 3 leaves instead of two, funny. Im going to check other diaries for similarities.
D21: end of week three, stretching begins in 1and 3, shorty is recovering a lttle. Happy for now :)
D23: all 3 starting to flower. I got scared this morning as i saw som weird colors on PL3 preflowers, thought it was red spider. After some coffee and looking closer, turns out its the first purple coloring! Which is cool but also sad because PL1 and shorty have no purple yet. By the way, shorty keeps short, but is doing much better. Still only gets water with low ph and microbes to release the excess, will keep two three more days like this.
Learning a lot about growht training, really enjoying the whole process! :)
D24: position change between pl1 and shorty to gain space, watered shorty with nutrients as the new and secondary leaves look cool, lets see if I screwed up. 1 and 3 are doing good, but at this point i'm missing maybe some better light, i think if this was no cfl the could be doing a little more vigorous..
D27: everything fine, even shorty. PL 3 and shorty have purple flowers PL1 not... :(
Due to rhe small growtent im thinking to Scrog in two three days.
D29: shorty is back to suffer, so just water in the following days. Other two are doing well. I put the net already as I wont have time in the upcoming days for too much and its starting to get small. Happy so far, if they were any taller I would have to start concerning about space issues.
D33: staring to like drinking, everything fine, slight defoliation. Considering to turn into 18/6 at a certain point. Feels... healthier? Idk how to explain...
Day 36: first adding of bloombastic in 1&3, shorty still only some minor watering, as her leaves inmediately turn weird when I feed her. PL1 is not purple at all, but her growing rythm and path is quite the same as 3. Trichome production starting to increase. Scrog could have been used smarter, will notice for jext grow! I love noticing this sort of mistakes and thinking how to improve already the next one. By the way, this closet will get a new member for about 2week in a couple of days...
D39: shorty goes now with osmotized water ph6 with trichoderma harzianum as she has still some block (as soon as she dries a bit).
1 and 3 keep the rythm, and OMFGJC the smell. Sugarcovered fruits... shiiiiiiit its already mouthwatering.. good stuff! :)
D40: nothing new, but I asked my girlfriend to do some better pictures, and they are worth uploading as they make more justice to these beauties and the enviroment. :)
D43: start in week 7, will start flushing 1 and 3 probably after two or three more waterings, as they all started flowering quite early. Minor improvemnt regarding shorty, 1 gets pink beatiful pistils despite the lack of purple, and 3 is the one I expected when buying :P quite cool so far, due to the small amount and good ventilation Im barely noticing the odor. Smells incredible by the way..
D48: I've started watering with just ph6 water at half of the week. Currently some hot days, yesterday was a complete mess with 29C and 20% air humidity, but its getting better and it will be a 2 days thing, so they should be able to deal with it. Good smell, great developing. It's a pity shorty had her issues, the other two are filling their space gently, would have been crazy with the three of them this way.
Nevertheless, so far so good, visually beatiful, you just have to stop and watch them everytime you go by.. nice smell, has me trying to figure out what genetics are behind, g9es and evolves into crazy directions. I know its still a while to go, but cant wait to test them!!
D50: All 3 put their stinky mode on. PL1 (the green one) starts to cover in white. PL3 as well, but in her case what catches the eye is how big and fat the single calyxes are. And shorty looks bitter, but the purple leaves she is producing are beatiful.
Started watering with just water some days ago. Feeding conclusions: for what Ive seen in other diaries and my shorty case; some of these ladies are quite sensible in their first weeks. 1 and 3 could have gotten probably even more nutes, but then again, shorty made me be cautious.
It wont be a big yield, but they really are something specal.
Zoomed some shorty pictures, just because it looks creepy like some alien shit
D53: next two weeks are going to be quite rough and I wont have almost time. They could probably go until day 60 or so, shorty and 3 are a little bit ahead on the green one. But they will be harvested on Day 55, meaning in about two days and a half from pictures at day 53. Thinking on turning the lights out tonight and leave the in dark for two days.
So it will be a pity for not getting 100% of the potential, but I doubt going to be disappointed. They really look amazing.
Last time I grew I had to put the plants out early as well, and I remember 5 of them werent nearly as finished as these purples, and I still got incredible weed. So I wont feel that bad for being premature, despite all.
It has been a pleasure growing them, it just feels so nice to be able to grow a little again.. Nice stinky ladies, so much potential for such medium conditions.
@@Wallysaye, I think your Shorty has some excess..could be water, nutes or from what I can tell in the photos you have air coming right at her. Keep a closer eye on her! Hope it helps. Let us know if you need any assistance, we're more than happy to help.
@Fast_Buds, thanks a lot, I'm quite excited with my first purples. Any advice will be welcome! :P
Already planning next grow, still considering between wedding cheescake or strawberry pie, was delighted whith your GSCs!
Best regards
