Still waiting for the flexitank res for the autopots, it got lost in the mail and the seller is a real ass jockey. I hate plastic pots havnt watered in about a week cuz they won't dry out. Topped at 3rd mode, running just 1 of these
Topped her and she's growing nice big fan leaves and seems healthy. I have noticed less rapid growth using plastic pots but I have a new tent on the way and will be able to set up rhe autopots res and airdomes finally. Hoping for some good buds from her, dont care how much just want nice structured buds to test.
The crack is the tallest so far but since it's been under the shitbag Amazon special ed led it literally hasn't grown. Not sure if the new light is even coming anymore so it might be fucked.
This ones under the shitty 100w purple led but isnt doin too bad. It seems to be growing kinda slow but at least its growing. Hope this one doesnt foxtail cuz I really want to be able to provide an honest assessment of this strain since it's one of the more popular ones so will find out soon I assume
This is growing well now the coco just womt stat wst. Your not supposed to top feed after autopots are hooked up to the rez but I had to andeven when I have it dries out around 10 hrs after
Started hand feeding cuz the autopots weren't doin the trick which is why the leaves are so yellow. Its still doin pretty goood I feel much better about the buds than the last run. Most pics are taken with dslr camera a few with my phone. Taken on day 58 week one was the day the seeds were dropped in water week 2 was sprout
Starting to finish up will start flushing soon. Nose is musty mangos. Should have a week 10 or 11 finish. Happy with the overall structure of this one compared to my previous green crack all the nugs are tight and dense.
She shaped up to be a beaute. Nugs are absolute rocks and she has a strong musty mango musk. I was defoliating all the dying crispy leaves last night and my hands are still sticky. Upgraded my photography lighting today with a soft box cuz my grow room lighting is terrible. Again, no editing done on the pics this is the closest to how a plant looks in real time I've gotten. Not sure why all my nugs turn blue and purple but it happened to the tangie girls as well. My temps aren't even as low as usual been in the 80s for the past couple weeks. I did flush the shit out of them but I always do. I've started flushing earlier and longer than previous runs starting with the crop I harvested last and it has paid off. I get the sense that some people underestimate the power of a good flush and get nervous that they will loose smell or their buds may become airy as I had those same concerns but I've found over the past few harvests that it is opposite. If you feed too long and dont flush enough you lose the natural intended scent the genetics have to offer not to mention it makes the smoke harsh and potentially detrimental to your health. Theres nothing better than smoking a joint with pure white ash taking monster tips and not coughing at all. Try going the extra mile on the flush on your next run even if it's just one plant I think you'll thank me.
This one came out ridiculous. Only reason I gave it 9 stars instead of 10 is because it's not my number 1 of all time but it's close and its top 3. It grew like a beast very rapidly with bud sites forming all over. Once it hit bloom and started stretching I knew it was gunna be a good one although I was nervous of foxtails like the first one I grew this eas the opposite. Had a very sativa like structure in the way it grew and also the final product as the buds are about a 8/10 in density but covered in trichomes. The smell at the end of bloom was like funky mangos. After the dry and cure they smell a little more earthy but with notes of the musk mango. When people see this they cant believe how beautiful the buds are and when they smoke it they want more. It's as advertised dishing out a hard hitting energetic, euphoric and focused high that last for 2 or 3 hours before coming down. Great day time smoke. Great yield at 250g dry. The crazy thing is this was not a good grow for me she was in a 4x8 with 11 other plants under 250w light total which is about half of what's needed for veg and a quarter of what's needed for bloom. Topped at the 3rd node, lollipopped. Defoliated and it responded without a hitch to all techniques. If this strain could produce plants like this consistently I would fill my room with it. For a shitstorm start she finished up incredibly and is a sure fire money maker. Some of the pics may look a little different compared to one another because they were all taken using different f-stop settings. If you dont know about camera f stop is basically the area of focus 4 being more focused on one spot and 36 bringing everything into focus. In person the buds look even better than the pics. Careful with the video I forgot to mute a section so dont be alarmed half way thru when the volume kicks in turn it down before if you want to watch it. Video was taken on my phone so its shittier quality pics were taken with nikon d5600 and unedited.
This started out as a pain in the ass to grow because I was expecting a light promised to me by a company I wont name that was never followed thru with and I ended up having to pay out of pocket for it. Luckily I was able to move one of my other fixtures from my other tent for bloom so they could finish up strong. This strain has potential to be great like this plant but also has the potential to end up like my first attempt at it so I gave it 9/10 stars. If every one came out like this one it would be a 11/10. Great daytime smoke, finished up relatively quickly considering its size. Only negatives were the smell isnt as strong as I thought it would be based off the end of flower but in the grand scheme of things is not a big deal it still smells it's just subtle. I cant help but wonder if it would have been even bigger and better if I had enough light to give it the first 6 weeks. The autopots were run from around week 4 to 7 until I disconnected and started hand feeding so I could use thicker nutes with the organics like the pbp and nirvana. 11021

@ChefGreenThumbGardenofWeedin, idk it built up nicely in veg and the first one actually had a big yield it was a huge plant bigger than this one but the buds foxtailed and were mad airy this one the buds are perfect
How are you gauging when to initiate the flush. You aiming for 2 or 3 weeks flush?
Are you gauging the trichomes or pistels or just working it out due to how long you'll think it'll take to complete flower as you go?
I'm asking as have some lsd25s at w 8 and 80% white pistels still and clear to cloudy tris but i feel getting there. Am thinking it time for a decent flush.
@DirtBox, I usually start when around 20-30% of the pistils turn amber. I could bang it out in 2 heavy flushes but then I wouldn't get a clean fade the leaves would just get all brown and crumbly. I try to spread it out over a week and a half to 2 weeks and let the plant uptake whatever nutes are left over in the media as well as the leaves. Most the time it isnt perfect but I'm a one man operation so it gives me some flexibility on when I can harvest. If I flush slowly I save nutrients cuz the plant can still use some of what's left in the coco I think. Idk but it is my favorite part of the grow
Im setting up shop and taking notes! When you used Coco, are you using Canna coco btw? And if so do you reuse the coco or buy a new batch? Whats your coco to perlite ratio? Do you water every day by hand or drip system? What size tent are you useing? What brand? Sorry for all the questions but you are a good grower, thanks.
@Thegermling509, yes canna coco thru veg and first 2 or 3 weeks bloom. I have one tent hand water and one autopots, the hand water tent I use mostly nutes that have organic substances in them to increase the aromas. I usually buy a new batch and throw the old coco in my outdoor garden and water with an enzyme product a few times.i have 2x 4x8 tents and a 5x5 and a 4x4 for drying.
