Another crispy week in the books. This girl is looking extra rough as she starts to fade ON TOP of the nutrient lockout issues that wrecked havoc on her earlier. Considering the trichomes are getting there, I'll probably start the two week flush in the following week. Really unhappy that these buds have stopped fattening up, but I suspect that was caused from my lockout. Just another reason why I'll be switching to organic dry amendment nutrients on the next round :)
If you run into issues into flowering that cause your sugar leaves to get crispy and discoloured, do you remove them? Or let them run their course and wait till harvest to trim them away?
Hi,
I would leave them on, personally.
As for what it may be,
I believe you're dealing with a significant calcium lockout caused by low ph. This will also lockout phosphorus, iron and zinc. Calcium can only be absorbed as Ca++ ions above a ph of 6.2, in soil. Maybe aim for a ph of 6.5-6.8.
Cheers,
