I saw 2 fungus gnats so I went crazy with the sticky tape and doing recharge every 7 days. cal mag plus in 6.5 ph water when needed.
The plant in front is Nature’s living soil, and it’s doing much better so far than the pot for pot medium.
Beginning of week 4 started LST. Looking good except pot for pot plant is much smaller, hopefully it will catch up. I think the nature’s living soil was a tad hot and have had some curling.
A couple of my leaves have some speckling, the worst one was drying up. I’ve looked and looked for spider mites but I’m not seeing anything. Maybe I need better magnification? Is it PM?
Living soil plant is flowering like crazy , the pot for pot plant doesn’t look anything like the NLS plant even though they are same genetics? Not flowering yet but getting HUGE and very healthy looking. So no beef with pot for pot, I think their system is solid, just maybe favors slower but strong growth.
Though both are in flower, I estimate that the natures living soil plant (in the front) is probably a good 2 weeks ahead? which is probably good as it's getting crowded. Hopefully the pot for pot plant will start bulking up soon, it looks VERY happy. not many problems this week.
Week 8 was smooth, I stopped feeding the NLS plant Cal-Mag Plus, as i am hoping to harvest it in 2 to 3 weeks, and that's the only thing i use that i plan on flushing out, just by phasing it out. The Pot for Pot plant I think is going to take 2 to 3 weeks longer, i'm not sure what caused it, i'm thinking it's because the NLS was mixed into the entire soil mixture so it had more access to notes early on, so it switched to flower faster. I'd love some others thoughts?
