This was the easy part. I put 20 seeds (18 Girl Scout Cookies and 4 Gelato) in wet paper towels and within 24 hours, 18 hatched. The next day I put them in some dirt which has a PH of 6.8. After 48 hours this is the result

Is outdoor farming outdated? Or is the technology ( LED grow lamps, HPS) so much better that itโ€™s not even worth trying anymore?

Being stupid,/philosophical, outdoor growing will always be an option for cheaper growing, and a change of pace, to indoor growers. I did it, cuz, 1 - Never did before, and 2 - Summer indoor grows are hard, due to cooling requirements. No AC in my house. I will see soon, whether my buds (quality) are any better/worse, once I harvest.

Growing outdoors is the best way to do it, and that will never ever change because 1. the sun's rays bring something special in their spectrum , there's something there that's not entirely possible to replicate with LEDs yet. 2. the soil, the wind, the bugs, all that for some reason i dont know why brings something to the terpene profile , it just tastes better for some reason. 3. it's basically free if you figure it out ... at the end of the day it's a matter of taste if you like outdoor bud better or not, i do , some dont, but outdoors is just as relevant as it ever was. Hope this helps ! ๐Ÿš€

Guys I need important guidance ASAP. I live in a country where the humidity level is between 75-100 (tropical humid). So do I only need a dehumidifier to dry some of the air or a humidifier also? Please guys

Hey there BisonKit, man if you live in the tropics you should really invest in an air conditioning. That's because AC does make the air drier , it's really an investment for you that you can keep for many many grow cycles. the quality of the final product will be much better also, potency and even the final yield because of optimal conditions. See : growth rate is determined by VPD Vapor Pressure Deficit which is the relationship between the temperature and the humidity, learn more here : https://pulsegrow.com/vpd basically the point is that it's very important to keep the correct humidity. The only thing i will add now is that you should be careful about the AC : dont extract too much air too quickly, and make sure you're recirculating the air just a bit also. Hope this helps ! ๐Ÿš€

Hi! YEs you will need a dehumidifier when you are flowering atleast. In the seedling stage and in veg the plant likes about 65-80% rh (Depends on temperature) so you are not in a hurry just now. During the flowering they will most probably rot with that kind of humidity

You need a dehumidifier growmie, to remove the moisture out of the air. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

Hey there, hope i answered your question, anything else you need just let me know ๐Ÿ‘Š

@CRiSPrGrow, So the one i'm making is just a room that i completely sealed air tight and also no sun. It does have air conditioning and i'm planning on buying 2 LED growlights and a dehumidifier. That should be enough right? Also what different type of nutrients do you recommend using throughout the whole process? (from seed to harvest)

@Bisonkit, dont worry growmie i just learned this quite recently also, so basically the difficult thing to understand is that the AC needs the air to recirculate so that it cools it , so what happens is if you have too much exhaust the air doesnt recirculate enough, so (strangely) if you have less exhaust you have less temperature , i dont really know how you can turn your exhaust down, some kind of potentiometer or special plug, mine has a dial to turn it down , also you can replace the small fan with a smaller fan, i dont really know, i guess every grow box is different
