Very excited to have the Creme de la Chem in this rotation. I read a lot of good things about this strain and have been looking forward to trying it out.
Like mentioned in my other diary this round will be my first multi plant DWC run. I'm having some decent success with my current DWC project and feel confident taking on three more.
I will update more as things start to happen over the next couple days.
So far, so good for the Creme de la Chem. She seems to be the healthiest of the three new plants this grow. Still waiting to see the taproot emerge from the hydroton into the bucket, but I'm sure it'll show up soon.
My Creme de la Chem is looking pretty healthy so far. This is the only one of the three Mephisto's I have going that the taproot hasn't shown itself yet. It was the first to emerge from the rockwool and it kind of grew sideways below it until I transplanted into the hydroton. It must be growing out sideways or something, but I'm sure it'll show up any day now.
This one is doing just fine, nice growth over the last few days. I managed to get some much needed light down to these girls and they seem to be loving it. They were choked out from all light by the freak of nature Californian Snow they share the tent with. Decent roots on this one so far. It was actually the first of the three to germinate and the first taproot to poke out of the rockwool.
The Creme de la Chem is looking good this week. She's had a bit of upward growth since my last update but has filled in quite a bit instead. Her roots have grown a lot and appear to be healthy, I'm sure we'll see a stretch here in the next week or two.
This girl is doing just fine. Nice structure to her already and there has been some really nice root development this past week. Hoping they start to stretch a bit soon.
This stubby little lady is doing alright. Her foliage is lush and has nice colour and the root system is pretty healthy. Not very tall by any means, but we'll see what the next couple weeks bring as she starts to flower.
Lots of growth this past week, She's really been stretching. I don't think she's gonna much taller than 26"-28", but has really nice structure so I'm hoping she'll fill in nicely.
This one is not very tall, but she is pretty stocky and has the nicest bud development of my three Mephisto projects. Despite being carpeted in trichomes, it has the least powerful smell of the three. It does smell great, just kind of subtle still. I have neglected to do lots of pruning on all my plants, so they're all growing small useless crap at the bottom... I'm just going to leave them now as I don't want to prune this late in the game. Should see a decent return from this one, can't wait to sample a bit!
The buds have been filling in nicely, they are quite dense and getting larger by the day. This one is no where near as stinky as her tent mates, she has the smell of vanilla or wood or something... can't put my finger on it yet. The first brown pistils have just become visible, still going to be another week or more.
Hoping for better luck next time with the Creme de la Chem... I see the potential, but something went wrong with mine early on. It was some of the most unique tasting smoke I've ever grown. The diary has some holes in it near the end, just wanted to close it up.
