Day 4, Planted in soil in a 5L pot mixed with easy boost organic pellets and mycorrhiza root booster. Low tech growth using bottled water, natural light and minimal nutrients. Planted in order to grow unimpeded to maturity and serve as a baseline comparison to its older topped sister.
Day 22, It's been a very rainy and somewhat cold last week and as a result all of my plants' growth was significantly slowed down, weather has finally turned so fingers crossed. It popped its first two pistils today but I'm not calling it "flowering" yet.
Day 27, Charlie is growing FAST, popped a tone more pistils, it feels a bit rushed but it's welcome nonetheless! Decided to do LST and since it has already started flowering it is now or never.
BTW, if there was ever an argument to be made against topping autoflowers it's right here. It was about this time (in the plant's growth) that I topped its elder sister. As a result its main stem stopped growing almost entirely and went into growing its side branches at double speed instead. Then its two new top branches sprouted and almost doubled the plant's total height but their buds seem a bit underdeveloped when compared with their counterparts at this stage of their growth. Of course there is no way of knowing for sure until they both finish their cycle but this is how it seems to me at this point.
Day30, minor update, baby has grown enough for me to add another twist in its LST last few days have been quite sunny so plenty of growth to go around for all of them! Thinking about starting her on bloom booster... in a couple of days maybe.
Day 36, Charlene seems to be down with that BDSM stuff. Gave her a trim and tied a few more knots to spread things out. Weather is great and baby couldn't be happier. Started her on bloom booster today if the weather holds she should do great!!!
Day 46, minor update, flowering continues brilliantly, I think it needs another trimming but I will give it a few more days. One of the knots came loose and I decided to remove it, other than that all is great!
Day 51, not much change since last week, weather is good and flowering continues. Decided not to defoliate for the time being, with the days getting shorter and shorter direct sunlight is becoming scarcer and scarcer by the day and at this point I feel I cannot sacrifice any leaf area and as long as the buds are exposed anyway I'm happy.
Day 59, Minor update, flowering continues albeit REEEEEALLY slowly. Temperatures are still tolerable but the reduced amount of sunlight has definitely slowed things down considerably.
