Hay there! Today i start my first Royal Queen Seeds diary. The package with the seeds easy start easy boost & easy Combo and a lil bit of merch arrived asap.
Let the seeds germinate. 🌱🌱🌱
First I let the seeds swell in chamomile tea. This has an antibacterial effect.
Day 1: 12 hours later I put the seeds with tweezers on a damp paper towel to avoid contaminating them with bacteria from my hand.
Day 2: Already after 24 hours all 4 seeds are germinated and the taproot begins to form. In its search for water and nutrients, the root grows into a beautiful network.
Day 3: Today i prepare the soil(about 10l)with 25g Easy Boost and 2tsp. Dynomyco. Today the seedlings have already formed a root of 1.5cm. I think it is time to put them into the soil.
Day 6: 3 out of 4 girls have seen the light today. I hope the last one will be there tomorrow morning.
Day 7: All four seedlings have now reached the light cycle. That's it for the first week.
On the first day of the second week everything looks very good. The leaves have a rich green and develop quite fast.
Day 9: I gave the small ones about 100ml water per seedling.
Day 11: The next pair of leaves is in the early stages.
Day 14: On the last day of the second week you can see very well that the plants 1&3 are developing a bit faster than 2&4. Let's see how the next week goes on. Keep growing little cookies gelato.
At the beginning of this week the first real leaves are formed. From now on the growth should be visible and continuous.
Day 18: In the middle of the week the next pair of leaves is already growing.
Day 21: Last day of the week. I stabilized the 4th plant a bit because otherwise it would have fallen over. I also rinsed it today and found that the ec value was about 2.1. Then I rinsed the soil to get an ec value of about 1.1.
Hello everyone. Plant 2&3 let the leaves hang a little bit. I have the hope it was because of the dry soil.
Day 23: I mixed the soil with dynomyco and easy boost before the small plants were put into their new pots. The soil is the Light mix from Plagron. On the root photo you can see that the roots grow healthy. Let them recover for a week before we start the topping.
Day 28: The third plant still suffers from the overdose. However, it is still ahead of the second and fourth. The first plant is developing magnificently.
Today I shortened all four plants by fimming. Let's see what will become of them.
Day 32: I think they took it well. The new shoots are growing.
Day 33: Today I actually had to repot. The roots came out from the bottom of the pots. Plant three is struggling as you can see. I hope it comes through well.
Day 35: I think the plagron light mix is too heavily fertilized. The plants give me the impression of being over-fertilized. The purple color of the stems is a hint. Then I will rinse them tomorrow.
Hello everyone. i have the plants all rinsed the rinse ec was partly at 3.5.
After the rinsing they also made a very recovered impression on me. I tied down plant 3 because of its size. So that the distance to the light stays the same for everyone.
Day 42: I have cut away some of the lower part of the shoots and from the crown the big leaves.
Hi everyone!
Today i installed the first of two scrog nets. I think about 2 weeks of vegetation are enough for the rest to reach the hight. I watering them 2 or 3 times the week about 2 ½l clear water.
Plant 3 is still fighting with the nutrientburn. The new leaves had a darker green. But really healthy looks different. Wait for it. The ph value and the flush ec are in the correct range. With some time it should recover.
Day 53: Today I stretched the second net. The third plant is recovering.
Day 56: Last Day of this vegetation week. Should i defoliate next week? I like to veg them one week more.
Hay @ all Growers! Today I decided to thin out the leaf roof a little bit. I also added some fertilizer to the water today. The fact that I use this fertilizer so sparingly is due to my history. As I noticed this time the soil mixture I use is a little bit heavily fertilized. Accordingly I had the impression that they were over-fertilized. During the last rinse out the value was always stable in the acceptable range.
Hay @ all
Today is the day of the time change. Let's wait and see what the stretch brings in height. In this week I have watched the two times watering rinse out and decided not to fertilize again.
Today I mixed a solution with the easy bloom booster to give it to the plants tomorrow. Over night the solution is in a dark place with room temperature. So the water can regulate the temperature.
Day 76: I will try a lil bit HST at plant 3
First day of the fourth week of flowering. The plants all make a good impression on me. Merry christmas everyone, today is the last day of the week. I find the development of the plants very good.
This week the plants have gained quite well. The flowers are now already covered with trichomes. If they continue to grow like this, I am more than satisfied.
Day 98: Today it was feeding time again. The run off ec was 1.2 and the ph at 5.7 i think that is ok for that flowering stage. I feed with ec 1.1 and ph 6.5
Happy new year all together!
Hay all growers! In the New year its time to flush. As of today, there are no more fertilizers. Only pure water. In addition, the first pistils also begin to turn brown. I think about 2 or 3 weeks to harvest.
The run off ph at the end of the week was in the range of 6.4 and the ec at 0.4.
Hello everyone since it is only this week or the next two weeks until the harvest. I have decided to free the plants from some sun sails. The trichomes are mostly clear on all four plants. Some are already milky and isolated amber.
The runoff ph is at 6.5 and ec at 0.3
In terms of growth, the variety is a front runner among those I have had so far. After slight inconveniences with the nutrients I have the grow still quite well turned around. The plants have forgiven me this mistake quickly and then gained well over the flowering. In contrast to the stated 8 to 9 weeks flowering time, these ladies were ready for harvest after 6 weeks of flowering. The structure of the buds is pressure-resistant the smell very intense. Let's see how they taste when the time comes.
