Was not planning on doing a journal, but whatever here we go :D No pictures of week 1 and 2. BANANA KRUMBLE: ---------------------- Banana Krumble (Banana Punch x OG Kush) Banana Krumble is one of our latest additions to the catalogue for 2020. We selected the Banana Punch for its smell and flavor of overripe bananas and cinnamon and crossed it with our selected OG Kush to bring back the gassy fuel like flavor. Banana Krumble grows very short with thick, overlapping fingers and only starts to stretch in late veg and early flower. It can take moderate to high feedings and produces medium high yields. The compact buds will need support during the last weeks of flowering. Buds are dense and covered in resin, making it an ideal strain for extractions. The effect is very strong on the body and long lasting, making Banana Krumble the ideal nightcap strain. INDOOR Flowering Cycle: 56 - 63 days Yield: Medium OUTDOOR Harvest: Late September Average Height: 170 - 200 cm Yield: 500g/plant ---------------------- NUTRIENTS: ATAMI Bcuzz Soil A&B PH tussen 5,5 – 5,8 EC tussen 1,0 – 2,5 NPK Bcuzz Soil Nutrition A 4-0-4 (w/v). I start them for 3 weeks under 90W TL 64K Started 5x seeds, directly in soil, nothing special, seeds from package directly in my universal general brand garden soil. I make the soil wet so as when you squeeze it a few drops of water will get out. They all sprouted after 3-4 days. I think (I'm not sure anymore :D) I topped them late week 3 and moved them into the tent early week 4 and these pictures are from late week 4 (might be half week 5 but whatever, I wasn't planning on doing this so I had to pick my weeks based on bad memory :D).

Some slight LSt where I just push down the main stems a little, bend and twist it just slightly to try to keep it down for the day. I don't do anything else, just let them go. Main stems have been topped. Them have been moved into 18L pots with the same general brand garden soil with 100 days of prenutrients. I only add 1/1 with recommended amount of root sim. Added the screen. Bought this from garden store and just attached it to the poles.

Nothing special, still plenty of nutes in the soil but gave them some extra just in case A&B just because i felt like it :o Oh yeah, topped them a 2nd time . My stoned mind thought it was only sativa so I aimed for 60% of the screen to be filled and then I flipped to 12/12. It's not puretly sativa btw, it's a mix :D

Defoliated them a little. Nothing special. I try to keep at least 3 or so big leaves below the net jfust in case there is an issue with the plant where it shows the symptoms at the lower branches first. I believe this way I'm faster to diagnose in case something does go wrong with feeding. Oh yeah, trellis is about 30cm (give and take) above the pots

2 days from being in 12/12. The first tops are starting to form, I love pictuires like this, you can clearly count all your potential high quality homade buds! Nothing special, I was too stoned and forgot to water yesterday, all droopy today, now I overwatered them a little so leaves are standing proudly up to evaporate water faster . Oops :D Np, just no watering tomorrow and then see what the plants tell me in 2 days. Every grow I have the same issue where the side brances start to misalign. Check the pictures it's 1 side branch then a little spaces then the sidebranch on the opposite side. It's weird, I think it might be the lamps as it's been a constant throughout all my grows.. Next time I think I'm going to try some Quantum Boards, but not sure yet..

Starting to smell real nice! Still stretching. Measure 22cm for highest top and now it's 24cm! THC is developping nicely! I'm not really good with explaining smells, but I think it sounds kinda sweet, not really citrus just sweet, but mellow?. And maybe a liiiiitle bit fuel like (as they describe it on the website). Started increasing bloom nutes as I think I have some zinc/sulfur def. but not sure, have to watch that. Might start giving blossom builder in low dosage starting tomorrow. This was the last day of week 3, tomorrow is the start of week 4 in 12/12 Been trying to take pictures with flash or extra light because I can't seem to make good pictures without. Anyone any tips on that? I use a smartphone camera. (specs on the higher side of a mid range smartphone).

My best grow so far, i'm loving this strain, what a beast. The smell is amazing, very sweet! Can't wait to taste this. the stretch is definitely mostly over with my highest top measuring 28cm above the net. Now it's time to build up these flowers! The small plant top right seems to be getting purple and even some dark red in the tops, hopefully this will come out a lot more in late bloom! I started increasing amount of nutes to max amount of soil A which is high in Nitrogen. Already noticing leaves going from lighter green to a more neutral green. I'm pretty sure I noticed that the plants who where lighter where a tad behind in thrichome production. Other than that, I removed some leaves under the net, not forcefully tho', only the leaves the plant has rejected already.

Whatsup fuckers, probably at an 8 right now so good time to catch up with the diary! Man, these fuckers are going HARD O.o Just spent an hour just looking and smelling and removing leaves, under the screen now is as good as cleared up as well as in between the buds to at least get a tiny bit more airflow. Humidity is good so not yet worried about rot. Then again, never had an issue with that! I got 1 purple pheno, so happy with that! The leaves do no appear to have the purple, but the bud itself definitely starting to get reaaaaaally colorful! I'll try to find a picture of my previous grow, that shit was PURPLE. The smell is amazing, very sweet but also that (so they say) gasoline added too it. I've got 3 that smell very sweet where the gasoline smell is more on the background. but that last one has got some punchy sweeeet smell too it. I don't smell bananas but oh well, was not expecting too anyway :D Would be cool tho' Best strain I ever grew and EVER tasted, was mango kush autoflower , also from green house seeds. man that strain is craaazy good. When you smoke you start to taste it on your lips, like you lick your lips and it's sweet, man they should make a photoperiod of that. Can you @ someone? :D @greenhouse, get to it :D Maxed out nutes, still giving A component, which is high in Nitrogren. See, this is why I love 2 component "general" feeding. You can see what your plants are doing and adjust. I used to work with grow and bloom nutes, never again! The NPK is just much better arranged. Well for me personally. Also, all my previous grows they started to yellow already by this time, now I understand through experiences they just needed a lot more nitrogen, so really, never going the grow/bloom route again! Heard some great things about biobizz , so I'm probably going to get some of their nutes soon! i found that taking pictures with the lights off and the flash on my camera gives me the best pictures. I hate these bland COB powered lights for the pictures. Looks really meh. They are seriously getting a nice coating of trichomes. It could be my bias (or my imagination) but I swear I can see the trichomes kinda light up, like they're resinous, glinstering would probably better describe it :p They also seem very large. i dunno man, it's like I can see them clearer when I look closely in comparison with my previous grows. I guess that was it, nothing out of the ordinary!

I think we're about day 42 or something like that. Going great, still very green and alive looking. No issues to report at all. Such a great strain, they can take large amount of nutes. Probably going to decrease feeding in following days until we got only water at the end of the week. Looked at a lot of other diaries and they seem to finish around day 56-60 so very much looking forward to that 1x plant started to foxtail ,you can feel the top part of the bud is very weak and fluffy, hopefully they tighten a bit more. The other 3x are nice and dense nugs, one with some nice looking purple. Other than that, still no issues during the entire grow. Starting to looking for a new strain and so far I've been eyeing skittlez strain. Or Mango Kush if you happen to read this , do leave some suggestions if you have any experience with the strains. that's all, grow on!

No more feeding since 4 days. Only water, today I gave them a large amount of water for a good flush of the soil, tomorrow no water and then again a large amount of water until chopping day. Today, removed molded buds, was not much but I could see the mold on my thickest and firmest buds. Humidity is okay but still every grow towards the end I get a few buds with mold. Seemed like the mold had not yet penetrated inside the buds ass the mold itself was only visible slightly on the outside. i tried to "pull" out the buds and they were still firm and stuck to the plant. so seems like I was in the early stage of mold development. Too bad, removed the parts royally anyway, better take away too much then not enough. They only need to go for 4 more days so I'm going to check the buds every day from now on. Too bad it's the one one the back, it's always annoying to work on those plants. I can't get there easily with my tent. November 8 is chopping day, then they usually dry for about 7-10 days and then they will be ready. So will update with harvest report when they are done drying and in the jars! Other buds still going strong. I noticed the pistels are getting more and more brown. I see some amber when I look at the thrichomes. Let's pray we do not encounter anymore mold :( Always such a shame. The purple buds have some serious pink in them deep inside the buds themselves. Never seen anything like this before O.o
