Based on what I have researched, it looks like photosensitive and auto strains require different parameters. Is that true? Is 75°-85°F ideal? Is 40%-70%RH ideal?

Hey So I think I'm gonna have to disagree with that..i don't believe they "require" different parameters. I think they can handle and be successful in different parameters. They both will thrive best in a 82-72 temperature and a 70-50% humidity, i think it's more about controlling the VPD for any strain of any variety. Regardless of auto or photo each strain can handle different variations. But i do believe that an autoflower plant has had disease and mold/mildew and environmental strength built into its genes because of the ruderalis aspect...so I think it can handle different parameters better than a photoperiod would.

Has anyone here built a smart grow tent with automated IFTTT programming? For example: If temp >85°F turn OFF heating element. If temp <75°F turn ON heating element. If RH <40% turn ON humidifier...

This is normal for anyone growing properly, with a controlled environment. Look for Inkbird, great for heat and cool control switches. Cheers

One of my plants is developing twisted and spotted leaves. Is it just to much nutrients or something more?

Hey Having hot soil is definitely a concern if you're using one with high nutrients, but it usually settles out with time. My only other question would be...you're running a 2000 watt light at 20 inches!? On babies?! Are you crazy! Move that sucker up another 8-10 inches.😁 Oh i also personally think all living things benefit from rest...so if you are running high power, maybe go down to a 20/4 or 18/6 *if your new growth keeps coming in green and staying green you're ok, those 2 single finger leaves usually die off with time.

Can someone recommend the best tutorial for main lining? This is my second grow and first high stress attempt so the more extensive and in depth the better.

Not trying to be sarcastic or anything, but this is very in-depth with pictures, showing you where to cut and what to do exactly. https://www.growweedeasy.com/mainlining-nugbuckets I don't think I could explain it better on here without using pictures/diagrams. Happy growing!

Is this normal 7 day growth for autoflower? This is only my second grow and my first Auto grow and I am amazed by how fast they are growing.

Yeah, autos grow a bit faster than photos, especially early on. As they need to get as big as possible over a span of 3 - 6 weeks, before they start flowering.

It’s ok. you could have held another internode and flexed your arms more. You have done the cut on a nice big trunk be careful that the exposed wound does not rot, perhaps it was better to start earlier and more calmly

Is it ready for me to top a second time for this main-line grow or should I give my girls more time to recover from their snaps.

I just topped a second time and am trying cloning for the first time. Any tips or suggestions? I have them in a cloning chamber and I used clonex cloning agent. I raised the humidity of the tent and tried standing them up as much as possible.

Looks good. Keep the temperatures in the cloning chamber between 70-78F with relative humidity between 75-90%. I use to fill the holes in the cubes with the rooting agent and cut the stem at a 45-degree angle then just put in the cube. Add a little layer with water to keep all moist and the humidity up. I would have removed the lower leaves also.

Are day old clones supposed to look like this? They look very sad and unhealthy. I've been keeping the temp at 70-80 and RH at 75-90. I used a lot of Clonex.

No they are not. Did you cover the cutting in a dome or prop? Your last question I replied to recommended covering them and aiming for almost 100% humidity. They only need very low light. Also I would make sure they are not in standing water as that will not help. In the pic it’s looks as if they are. The cuts looked good in the last pic it must be a humidity issue. Any other questions feel free pal👍 If you don’t have a done or lid cut up a plastic water or drink bottle and use that to place over them.

I mainlined 8 colas on both plants. Each one has a small stem growing at the beginning of each cola. Is that normal growth for a main-line? I thought at this stage it would be just 8 long colas. Should I remove them or just leave them?

Yes it's normal, you can choose to remove. I removed those this low on my current mainline, but keeping a few further up to LST to the middle. It's about preferance and space i would say. It could give the main colas more focused energy if you remove, but i see it's a debated topic if it will yield equal or more if you keep.

I got an idea from when I was pruning pecan trees growing up. If I install small LED lights directly inside each "window" or "pocket" will that improve total light and production, or will I just burn the plants?

It helps for sure. Each piece of surface area of your plant can handle a certain amount of light hitting it per day to maximize growth. Chances are the top of your canopy is there and the lower or outer edges aren't. Adding LEDs or lights to the side can definately help production with the low bud sites or leaves.

Hi there, Yes,Slight tips burn is nutrient burn. You are alittle bit of overfeed them.Personally I always prefer slight tips burn. That’s mean they have enough food and don’t need to feed anymore.Don’t use nutrient everytime you watered or they will become worse.Happy growing... ✌️

How much longer before I can harvest? I was thinking 2-3 more weeks. I purchased and am waiting for a magnifying glass but for now from this picture how much longer should I leave her?

I agree with HighAltitudeOrganics, 2-3 weeks at least.. Try waiting until there are only 5-10% white hairs (pistils) left and the other 90-95% have browned off. This is when your plants THC levels are at their finest. Hope this helps.... Organoman.

What is causing my plant stems to start to turn purple? They feel stiff and dry, could it be low humidity or am I not watering enough or to much? I water 1L/plant ever other day. PH 6.3-6.5. Should I be concerned?

I go with sunburn as well. It is very normal some strain are more prone to this then other strains. . When there is a limiting factor causing purpling of the stem or leaf you also notice a slower growth related to it... From overwatering to nutrient deficiency or excess to ph swing. But in many cases it is either genetics (happen in shaded parts of the plant has well) or sun burn happen only to parts exposed to light and dosen't interferre with overall general growth nor health of the plant.. everyone likes their girl with a little tan in the summer don't they.

Looking good! I think you still have at least 2weeks though. Do you have a microscope/loupe? This way you can check the trichomes for the best time to harvest for what you want her for. If you dont they are very cheap on ebay etc and id say you have time to wait for one to arrive. If you dont have one/can't get one then a lot of people wait until approx 80/90% of the hairs have gone from white to brown AND withered. However there are some strains that keep producing white hairs so a microscope is preferable. Looking like a great smoke 👍

From the looks of it seems like she is ready to be harvested! BUT your best bet to know is to check the trichomes, usually people aim for about 15-20% amber trichomes. Beautiful plants!! Good luck and happy harvest :)
