Thanks to Sweet seeds for the opportunity to grow some of their great genetics.
After her tail popped in a damp paper towel I potted her in a 4 inch pot about a half inch deep in organic soil consisting of perlite, peat moss and EWC. Two days later she poked her head above soil and this is what I consider Veg day 1(V 1). Well week 1 is over and she seems to be growing well, just misted with water as needed.
Transplanted to a 1 gallon pot with some dynomyco and a Tbsp of Gaia green all purpose on V 17. A good week of growth. Nor sure if I will train this plant or let her grow naturally.
Mixed 5 gallons of new coco based soil ammended with EWC, bokashi pro grow, dynomyco and gaiagreen all purpose and power bloom at 6 Tbsp each for the 5 gallon fabric pots. Tied the top 2 nodes down on V 33 so the bottoms can stretch out a bit. Topped her 2 tops again on V 34. Great week of growth and hopefully get them in the flower tent soon
Let's do this! Looking forward to what this girl will produce. On F 2 I tied her down and spread her out and also took off the 4 largest top fan leaves to expose the lowers a bit. This girl is an absolute beast! First week of flower went great
Did a light defoliation on F 11 to let some light penetrate the canopy. This girl is thirsty and is drinking a lot. I was watering 3 litres every 2 days but she is dry after 2 days. Topdressed on F 14 with some EWC mixed with 1/4 cup bokashi pro grow, 1 Tbsp of gaiagreen all purpose, 1 Tbsp of gaiagreen high phos bat guano and 3 Tbsp of gaiagreen power bloom. Great week of growth, this girl is a beast.
Watered in some molasses on F 15. Cleaned up the under growth on F 16 so she can focus all her energy on the top buds. This third week of flip has gone very well and I think the stretch which wasn't crazy should be done now.
Did a good defoliation on F24 mainly to slow the rate of leaf transpiration so they don't drink so much. Another good week of growth and bud development. Nice easy plant to grow!
Topdressed with 4 Tbsp of Gaiagreen power bloom, 1 Tbsp of high phos bat guano and bokashi pro gro mixed with EWC on F 31 and watered in with some molasses water. End of the 5th week since flip and all is great except for some small spots that look like cal mag deficiency but I use tap water and have never had that before so I'm thinking maybe a phosphorus deficiency and hopefully that last top dress will correct it.
Watered with some added molasses on F 38 to hopefully correct what I think is a cal/mag deficiency. Topdressed with some EWC mixed with 4Tbsp of Gaia green power bloom on F 42 so she can finish up with enough nutrients. The brown spots and paleness on the top leaves is slowly continuing but hoping the tospdressing helps with that some.
Pulled some of the bad top leaves off on F 46. The deficiency seems to be slowly moving down the plant from the top. I will continue to pull the affected leaves as they die, hopefully the yield won't be affected too badly.
Pulled some more of the damaged fan leaves. I think it was just a bit too much light for her as the lowers leaves are still fine. This girl is getting thick and the buds are very tight and dense. Looks like another week and she'll be done.
This girl is looking very close and I will pull a sample to check trichs on F 60. The buds are so hard and she looks like she should produce over 100G of dry bud for me.
Gave them a quick wet trim and hung them up on F 64. The trim was very easy on the top buds but she was very leafy in her under carriage. Finished the dry and a final trim up. Lots of small leafy stuff on the lowers but still quality looking and 103g with only 40 days above ground before flip is good in my books. Haven't vaped any just yet but I will report back when I do. If you havent run sweet seeds yet then you NEED to. Great genetics and I look forward to running some more!
