Smokeys_Garden Sept 26 - Oct 2 On Sept 25 the PEV Summer Contest package has arrived. Germination was started within a few hours. This will be an all organic grow using hot soil, living soil, distilled water and a little endomycorrhizal Fungi powder for the roots. I use the paper towel method and a heated propagation tray without the lid. So far this method has been highly effect for me. Sept 28. One of the 2 has popped right out of the shell. The other looks to be quite a bit behind. Both were planted in starter pots with a layer of hot soil on the bottom topped off with living soil. Roots were dusted in endomycorrhizal fungi powder. Slight watering and hopefully in a couple days they'll sprrout towards the light. Oct 2. Both seeds are above ground. Not sure quite yet if I planted too close to hot soil or not. Things are good, have watered every 2nd day with about 2oz of water. The beginning of grow will be on autopilot more or less. Just need to water when soil dries up for now. Will be using a trellis during mid veg and another layer for flower. I am very excited to see how they turn out and look forward to cultivating an all organic and all natural bud. Happy growing and stay lit.

Smokeys_Garden Oct 3 - Oct 9 Oct 5. So far so good. Both have been given about 2 oz of water every 3rd day still. They are growing so far. They were planted about 1 inch above the hot soil so hopefully that will help boost vegetative production. Oct 9. Things are going pretty good. Only problem that I see is that one plant was planted a little too close to the hot soil and is now showing some signs of nute burn. Other than that they have been getting 2 to 3 oz of water every 3rd day. Happy Growing and Stay Lit.

Smokeys_Garden Oct 10 - Oct 16 Oct 13. Plant 1. She is very healthy looking at this point. Still watering with about 2 to 3 oz of water every couple days. She seems very happy and should thrive for a bit in such a small pot. There is plenty of hot soil in that little pot, hoping she'll catch up to the other plants in the room. Plant 2. She was planted way too close to the hot soil and is now very discolored. She just couldn't handle all that good stuff that early in her life. (Probably cause she didn't need it). I do believe she'll pull through since she'll only feed when she needs it and she is definitely starting to grow at a rapid pace. She still gets 2 to 3 ozs of water every couple days. Will be monitoring plant 2 closely for changes. Oct 16. Week has been good. Water when pots feel light. Plant 1. She is tall, lanky and very healthy. She needed some support at the moment due to her height. Plant 2. She is getting bigger but still looks rough. Hoping her color comes back soon. I do have faith she'll pull through. Happy Growing and Stay Lit.

Smokeys_Garden Oct 17 - Oct 23 Oct 19. Things are looking good. Growth has been great. Plant 1. Very healthy and doing well. Watered whenever the pot feels light. Tall and lanky atm. Plant 2. She is gonna be ok. Still looks a little rough but has exploded with growth and has almost as many leaves as plant 1, just shorter. Oct 23. Plant 1. This week has been great she continues to grow at a quick rate. Will transfer into fabric pots in a week or so. Very healthy. Just been watering every couple days. Plant 2. She continues to grow at a quick rate. She still looks discored but it hasn't seemed to have slowed growth at all. She is gaining on her sister in height. Happy Growing and Stay Lit.

Smokeys_Garden Oct 24 - Oct 30 Oct 27. All soil amendments have arrived and will be adding to soil later on in the week. Plant 1. She looks very healthy and is about due for a transplant. The light is a little higher than it should be to hopefully get some stretch out of her. She is definitely catching up to the other plants around her. If she continues to gain height at a good pace she'll be pretty close to on track to flower with the rest of room. Plant 2. She continues to gain in size but is still quite discolored, with faded blotchy patches. Has stopped her much from getting bigger. Will be transplanted soon to final pot. Oct 30. The week has gone great. Both girls have been transplanted to their final home. Plant 1. She continues to flourish without any hesitation from transplant. She looks very healthy and happy in her new pot. Very excited to see how she does in the next couple of days. Plant 2. She looks happy. Still discolored, hoping it starts to just green back out again. Even new growth is discolored. Transplant seems to have gone well no sign of stress or lack of growth. Happy Growing and Stay Lit.

Smokeys_Garden Oct 31 - Nov 6 Nov 3. Transplants were successful. Both are enjoying their new homes now. All amendments were added to soil along with some raw pumpkin goo for the worms. Suppose to help them breed. Added netting and watered with a compost tea which really made plant 1 vibrant in color, plant 2 still looks very healthy other than the discoloration. Plant 1. She has being doing better. She was really thirsty when I came in yesterday. Very lifeless, after a good watering though she bounced right back and looked very alive and full of life. Plant 2. She is still growing at a good pace and still quite discolored, hasn't slowed her down much. Looks very alive and happy. Nov 6. Week was great. No problems to report. Plant 1. She is very healthy, and about ready for a topping so she can fill out some more and I can grab a couple clones before flower. Plant 2. She still has a lot of discolored green but she is starting to fill out. She is as tall if not taller than plant 1. Aloe vera gel will be added as a foliar spray 2 times a week along with a soil drench once a week. Lactic Acid Bacteria serum (LABS -which I'm creating now) will also be added as a foliar spray 2 times a week and a soil drench once a week. Happy Growing and Stay Lit.

Smokeys_Garden Nov 7 - Nov 13 Nov 13. This week was pretty good. Found a couple of larvae either whitefly or aphids. Ordered Green Lacewings aka "Aphid Lion " to erraticate the problem. Watered with compost tea and foliar sprayed with aloe and water mix. Lactobacillus will be ready in the next day or so. Plant 1. She is looking good and healthy still a little thin, but starting to fill out. She really perks right up after a watering. Plant 2. She still has lots of discoloration but it hasn't slowed her at all as she continues to grow st a fast pace. She is a little taller than plant 1 now. Both have been topped and are recovering very well. Happy Growing and Stay Lit.

Smokeys_Garden Nov 14 - Nov 20 Nov 20. The week was very productive, they both have been sprayed with neem oil mix to reduce pests and deter them from coming back. Plant 1. She has grown substantially, and continues to grow at a rapid pace. Verg beautiful and healthy. Watered with compost tea and lacto b mix and a water aloe mix. Plant 2. She's still off colored but I'll let her ride it out. She is very tall now. Looks healthy and happy just odd colored. Happy Growing and Stay Lit.

Unfortunately due to human error she was chopped down early. She had some nice buds but they were premature and didn't taste too great.
