Germinated two seeds, they were pretty slow to open (several days behind some other seeds that were all germinated at the same time and under the same conditions).
Things are moving along. Plants looked hardy enough to, I switched on the bloom function.
One plant is in a 3 gallon, another in a 5 gallon pot. First time using dry nutrients (as directed), keeping it simple and just watering with water ph’ed to 6.4
Vertical growth is really starting to pick up. White hairs visible at nodes. Removed 4 big fan leaves this week. Opened up a bit for better light penetration. One more week and I’ll introduce bloom nutrients.
4 inches of growth this week!
Both plants are showing pistols. I’m continuing watering with water only- with ph around 6.4
I’m planning on giving them another week before introducing bloom nutrients
Relaying on help to finish these up. Had surgery a few days ago, and it’s nearly impossible for me to get to the tent. Hoping in a week or two I’ll be able to get down there myself to care for these girls in their final weeks
One hulkberry had been moved to the dark- but this one remains for a bit longer. Trichomes are definitely cloudy, and just starting to notice some amber. Let’s see if she can bulk out a bit more before the big day ✂️
These two plants grew beautifully during their veg stage. They gained the majority of their height during that time, and didn’t show much vertical growth during the stretch
Plant 1 was the shorter of the two. It’s buds were compact and thick.
Plant 2 was much taller, and displayed more color towards the end of flower.
Buds were trimmed wet, and left on the stems to dry. After 8 days buds were trimmed off and jarred to begin curing
I will update with a smoke report in a few weeks- I’m so looking forward to it!
