2/3 have sprouted.
6 days after germination (direct in soil) I started to add a some nut.
Maybe it was a little too early.
If you guys have any advice to help, i'll be very grateful.
Babes are doing fine, Some leaf issue but after asking around seems to be genetic.
First attempt at LST. Is it too soon ? Is this the way it should be done ?
Bought myself some root-juice to help the ladies.
Noticed some withe mold on the draining hole of the pots.... How bad is it ?
Again, any comment or help is welcome !
Measurement was taken along the trunk
Done a little more LST. Did pony tailing twice for 6h hours in the beginning of the week on the one on the right.
Added more nutrients, seems like they respond really fine to it for now.
Also added 2 pics of really weird mutations I'm seeing. One is only leaf coloring and shape but the other it looks like she's flowering already !?
Anyone has ideas on this ?
I think I'm gonna go for 20/4 or 21/3 light schedule from now on.
Done some more LST.
Seems to me that they are doing really fine. They didn't grow a lot taller but bushier.
Didn't change the nut yet, I've seen some growers adding biobizz bloom at this point...
I'm guessing that flowering will happen in about a week.
Plants have stretched a lot this week, buds are stating to appear and looks very nice.
One is really tall compared to the other I would say 10 cm more and keep on stretching even with harder LST on it.
Wondering if I should go for 24h light.
First day of week 6.
Plants are doing fine. Tent looks a lot smaller now :)
Used a PPM meter for the first time not sure if 800 PPM is good or not.
Took some of the lower leafs off. Pleased with the overall result.
Temperature is going up to 30°C sometimes in the tent.
First day of week 7.
Photo quality is not the best, sorry.
Tent is so small now. The guy in the shop told me i could fit 4 plants in there but it seems that 60x60cm (~2x2ft) is way to small for this.
I'm quite impress with how they grow.
Ttrichomes are forming nicely on small leafs and buds.
Again, no idea if the PPM is correct but I'm saving this data for later to analyse.
Plant have stopped growing for almost 5 days entirely.
Switched to 24h light schedule with a new lamp, LED 120W (true watts) full spectrum.
Buds are fattening up fast ! Snow is expanding very nicely and quickly.
Some of the leafs are turning yellow and look burned.
For the first time I watered with water only to flush it a little bit.
Since it come towards the end of it it seems normal to me to loose some fan leafs.
I think I'll give it 10 more days and harvest.
Flush will be soon, also I will let them with no water in the dark the last 5 days. Any thought on this technique ?
I was thinking about harvesting in 2 days but a lot of white hairs have shown up.
I will therefore wait for at least an other week.
Feeding only on water until the end.
Photos are from harvest day.
Put them into flush for two full weeks, No water 5 days before harvest.
Dark period for 72h shown little improvement in bud sizing and foxtailing.
Very easy to grow for a beginner. Strain is strong and easy to take care of. Buds looks nice but not too dense (received the LED light too late imo)
Edit : Reported the picture issue on the apk feedback.
@DaLuckyNoob, darkness 2-3 days - but low humidity or you might get mould (70% )
As for drying now that is a different story - most people dry for too little time you want an even dry not just the tip but the centre as well , I personally dry at 21C-23C at 55% Humidity and drop the humidity by 1% a day for 7-9 days , I then put into glass airtight jars then into a dark cooler cupboard for 1 month to cure before I smoke - obviously I have a little tester before the jar but for full flavours I reckon a month is enough 👍
