The critical seedling is performing well, slightly smaller than the haze berry seedling that sprouted at the same time, stretching has been minimum. Transplant will be in 4-7 days time. Seedling is 4 days old.
The Critical hasn't grown as fast as the Haze berry that sprouted at the same time, but it's starting to catch up now. All the Haze berry seedlings showed signs of stress after their cold night but the Critical seemed to definitely be a bit more resilient to it.
Well, what I thought was a nutrient issue with the mix I added to the soil, has actually been a ph issue within the medium :/ I used one of my old soil probes to check it before I transplanted into it, but it must have been way out. I did a run-off test and the ph of the Critical was 5.0. My solutions have always been 6.5 +/- 0.1. And my ph pen is calibrated correctly. I've flushed it completely with filtered water and added some dolomite lime to bring the ph up. Hopefully it starts to pick up again. ph run-off now at 6.2-6.6. The critical didn't really show signs of stress like the Haze-Berry so can already tell it's a much more hardy plant
Growth back on track! The dolomite lime did the trick, the leaves are growing nice and healthy and every time the critical is topped or defoliated it bounces back extremely fast. Still a very short plant but very dense vegetation
Not been on in a couple of weeks and had some stressful times. After flushing they perked up but then quickly started showing signs of nutrient deficiencies and I didn't give them a good feed in time. the critical didn't look healthy in that week. Thankfully the following week it perked right up and is now growing like a champ. It's been a few years since I've grown so getting everything dialled in has been a learning curve, also the first time I've used soil and seems to have been the most difficult :/
Perked back up and finally growing strong! The critical doesn't seem to be growing as well as the haze now but both strains have suffered some stress and neglect. Going to veg for 2 more weeks and then flower them
