Week 2 from seed! All 3 seeds germinated and are just now starting to poke through in the new setup. Exciting! @BudXs any tip to make them little babies grow faster?
Week 4 since I started the seeds... So far everything is going fantastic everything is growing at a good rate that I am comfortable with. I am currently feeding at half nute will keep it up for 1 more week. Climate of the tent peaking at 4pm fixed by changing the intake fan schedule now the tent doesn't go above 80.. Winter is coming I might start intaking from outside to lower the tent temp if it starts getting to hot.
This week was definitely slower then I expected. #3 had a hard time with cal deficiency unsure why only #3 had such a hard time compared to the other 2 I am unsure... Issue should be fixed but growth was slowed. I will let them grow quite a bit more before doing anymore lst or defoliation on them right now I am just tucking as much as I can.
Busy boring week better update next week!
Alright! This week as been interesting. The girls definitely started drinking more, I need to watch out and not let them dry out too much.
The 2 on the right have been doing great this week really grew a bunch. They are starting to take shape really nicely. The runt of the group is still running far behind but she also out in some size. She is still a shorty so I prompted her up to be at the same level as the others, she's happy.
I did notice that the fan leaves of this strain grows very long and away from the stem making the limbs heavy and droopy.
So this week is week 1 of flower I believe. They are doing alright, I'm having a hard time keeping them happy compared to the other I am growing. They tend to droop alot. I started feeling feeling new nutrients and I don't think they liked it I might have went to hard... You live and you learn. I'm. Sure they will perk back up I just hope I didn't slow them down too much.
Alright this week we tought. The plants definitely struggled, I found out the issue was the way I was watering. Fixed the issue, plants are now getting watered twice a day with extra water. Since I now have to water more frequently I will be making a DIY self feeder on a timer. It will take a week or so to get all the pieces and to set up but it will make my life much easier... Plants are starting to pick back up!
Alright we are back on track! Last weeks resolutions of watering more frequently has definitely fixed all issues that were happening to these babies. They are now extremely healthy and growing back with a vengeance. I trimmed twice this week and removed alot of inside fan leafs to make more space for air flow in the now cramped 4x4. The 2 on the right are just a few inches from the light no burn marks yet but I can't raise the light anymore than this so we will see how that goes. The runt of the group tho she did not get much focus this week has kept up with the growth of the 2 on the right and looks beautiful she will not yeild as much but the quality will be nice.
Toooooooo muchhh!! @Budxs wtf are these monsters you can't grow these indoors! Hahah I am mostly joking... But really these are some tall & wide plants. The leave's steams grow very long and take alot of space, I've had to do multiple rounds of defloration to make these manageable. Also they won't stop getting taller and I can't raise the light anymore... We will see how it turns out... I've used a full litter of both A and B canna solution this week these girls are drinking but this is getting expensive... I noticed a little bit of wilting in some of the inner leaves Ima pass it onto excess pk and lowered the dosage things have been going really well these weeks.
Bud sites are everywhere! Stems won't stop growing taller. So much leaves, I find myself cutting 50 plus leaves everytime I water and I barely see a difference. She is developing nicely. She's around day 77 so an other 3 weeks to go.
The stretching is finally over! These girls are close to 4 feet 10 inches, I had to stand on a chair to take a picture from the top.
The temp in the grow room has gone down quite a bit because of winter conditions. My breaker can't handle me running a heater so we willl what kind of insulation I can work.
I increase the nutes this week has I noticed the plants showing some discoloration and deficiencies. They are getting about 3.8L of water every 15 hours.
I need to do some defoliation but I fine myself to clustered to do anything. I will be pulling out the small corner plant on Friday so I will come in from the corner and really get in there to do some defoliation.
The THC production is going strong, I noticed that there is alot of trycones on the fan leaves I'm hoping that translate to an insane amount of trycones in the buds too.
This week has been great the plants recovered remarkably fast and well from their big chop last week.
Plant #3, the runt of the group Is about 2-3 weeks behind plant #1 and plant #2 is a bit less then 1 week behind plant #1. I can't pull any of the plants out separately because I used elastic netting and 2 of them.. I honestly was not prepared for them to get this big lol
I'm continuing with the nutes for now watering 4 liters per plant every 16 hours just got about 3 more weeks to go.
🎼🎵🎶
This grow is busting
The thc is frosting
These buds dancing
Beauty shot,
Hold up,
get that close-up
🎼🎶🎵
The tent is full again.... All the defoliation and now its all back 😭.
The runt of the group finally finished stretching, she is now a good 2 3 inches above the other 2 and she should start bulking up this week so 4 more weeks to finish. As for the back one I stopped feeding her nutes so from today tap water only. And the last one is right in the middle I would say 3 weeks or less to finish.
Just 1 more month and I will be able to clean out the tent and start grow #3!
Alright this was an annoying week! 3 plants 3 different stages needing different nutes....
Plant in back has been on water only for the last week. 1 more to go and then it's chop chop time.
Plant on the left just finished stretching this week and increased the bud sites. I started giving her PK when I noticed the change and I must there is a huge difference and the amount of budsites when introducing pk at the right time. Now I know :)
The one on the right is doing well just moving long her grow slowly but surely. In about a week or 2 I will cut the nutes and let her finish.
I can't wait to see what the left plant will be like with some buds on it because wow the stems fat and covered in bud sites.!
Plant #1 has been on regular un-pH water I will stop feeding her all together and let get starve before cutting her in a few days.
Plant #2 started the un-pH water treatment hoping to cut her done in 2 weeks. She is having some support issues so I tied some of her heavy stems to the top of the tent.
Plant #3 is starting to grow in volume and the top of the plant is blocking all the light. I will go in there and cut some leaves to let the light in. She is drinking 9 liters a day and she is huge! I'm thinking she still have a month plus to go delaying my plans a bit.
Things are going very well, keeping on track with feeding, I will be tasting these beauties soon!
How often you feeding? Overwatering looks a lot like underwatering. If your rh is in check, i woukd suggest its watering too often. Unlesd you're in coco. I forget. If so, disregard. I noticed the same issues with this genetic as well, it works itself out. If you are in coco, try foliar spray in addition to regular waterings
@BudXs, I feed em 4l every 24 to 36 hours when I feel the pot as lot abiut 80% of its weight. They are growing in coco and I did start spraying with a solution of canna boost and rhizotonic. I'm sure they will pick back up they always do
Drooping cuz of low rh. If your really at 45% its too low for early flower on these autos. They cant properly transpire cuz the stomata are gasping!!!!!
This is a good comparative model. Your runt is a runt either by genetic lottery or by stalling the growth by mis nutes. I think it is the former, not the latter. Its starting to get shadowed by its tent mates. Prop it up and adjust daily to maintain an even canopy to promote optimal light distribution.
@BudXs, yeah she's the only one that struggles with what looked like cal deficiency. All 3 plants are getting the same water so genetics roulette sounds right.
I will try to prop her up to be at the same level.. Unsure how... I'll think of something I have some scape wood on the balcony
you have your tent. You have your lights, your seeds. You have centuries of combined knowledge at your fingertips.
I see you need airflow, however. Is smell a concern at all? Cuz its gonna stink in a month.
Gotta have some airflow under the leaves, as well as something to pull bad air out of the tent. If smell is not a concern, a 4 inch inline fan set up inside the tent to blow outwards will escape your bad air and suck in good air from the lower flaps of the tent. You want a bit of negative pressure in there. If smell is an issue, you want a 6 inch inline fan and a carbon filter
@BudXs, I got a 4" intake fan! You'll see in new pictures also added 2 big fans at the bottom of the tent to increase airflow. Smell is not that much of an issue at less not for now. I installed the gorgeous new light (THANK YOU BUDXD) and now I wait check on my babies 100000000 times a day, seeing every little change that take place.
first off.... "First"
Secondly, i wish you luck my friend, i will be watching every step of the journey.
3rdly - i will be journaling your grow as well, offering my thoughts weekly. You are the first to grow out this cross and i hope more would like to try it as well. GD community hit me up for testers
@BudXs, thanks! I will use all your knowledge and everyone else's who wishes to help me along in my journey. You can never to many connections and to many friends wanting nothing but the best in your grow 🙏
@PsGrowers, i just started with the TSW 4-5 weeks ago. it is my first indoor grow. Normally i grow in my garden. And actually it really confuses me. I dont use a Watt-meter or Lux-Meter, so I searched for recommendations for distance and dimming in the web. I found a lot of different answers.
some say 100% during flower. Others say it is too much and they decrease the dimmer.
@BloodSweatBeers, that's what I said too these are outdoor girls 100% I'll add some pics of the stem in the next update. They are over 3 fingers thick.
@PsGrowers,
Doesn't look like there are too many options for you right now but it sounds like your getting ready to chop one so maybe that will buy you some room Best of luck man 🤞
@Inganjawetrust, Yes the lights are very close... Unfortunately there isn't much I can do here as the plants have already reached the top of my 80" tent. I don't really want to dim the lights as the other plants are already lacking light in the corners. Also ready cropped the top of those stems but I don't want to lose too much of their potential... Any idea what I should do?
