The mother with her various clones. I picked the strongest one to propagate, one ends up failing. I had a bad technique/poor vessel, just that shallow glass bowl.

I'm doing veg journaling retroactively, so I can tell you now that you will eventually see this poor clone topped like 5 times total, and it becomes the mother for the 5 clones in this grow. I like a nice aggressive top.

Nothing much to see, just vegging, doing well enough, a cutting from my first grow, chocolate mint OG. Including some strain info from Homboldt just to round out the entry this week.

Clone doing super well, has a very nice equal branched structure at the bottom. I topped it, with plants to mainline it. The cutting from it was placed in some water for more propagation, for a clone grow next round.

This is showing the mainlined plant which ends up being the mother for 3 of the other plants in this grow. She's the oldest but makes it to the tent 1 week after one of her offspring, eventually placed into a green 1 gal pot in flower.

Veg progress. One that I hopped would be a mainline candidate just wouldn't grow on one side, I ended up just killing it. One mainline attempt seems to be working out. The tiny vase is for flowering. I take cuttings very regularly because of frequent topping, it's a nice way to perpetuate a grow. I often have more cuttings than I actually need.

Various trainings on my little vegglings, one topped and one topped+mainlined. You can also see my tiny rooting vase, completely opaque with a tiny neck. I just have to make sure to top it up with water every day, water level literally drops an inch if I don't.

Veg station is just an area on my desk with an LED grow bulb, which seems to due pretty well for them, nice green color. I occasionally feed with a very dilute solution of nutrients

Just one plant in the tent at this point, with a water bulb for vacation. Added strain info just to round it out It survived fine with just the bulb, for 6 days.

3 Clones in the tent at this point, next to the previous grow, with a separate look at each. I really like the branching I am getting. All have been topped in veg, one I tried training into a mainline but one side just did not grow.

Just finished with my first grow, visible on the left side of the tent, so all 5 clones are now officially in the flowering tent, each with a slightly different entry date, these last 2 just entering this week, still in my tiny veg pots. I'm much more hands off this grow in terms of LST, I did aggresively top each plant while it was in veg, like down to 1 node at times after letting it grow 5-6 nodes Trying to go harder on nitrogen this time around. I topped one wildly tall branch. Overall my height is much more acceptable this grow, a comfy 18 inches from the light.

Transplanted everything into equal 1 gallon pots which they will stay in throughout the grow. I had good results my first grow with a clone in a 0.7gal, getting almost a quarter, with no topping, so I'm hoping these can do at least that each, hopefully more. I gave everything a spinosad treatment, tried to avoid some of the young buds but i'm sure they got a few splatters. I noticed one single leaf with white spots so I hope it doesn't progress. I had minor issues with this first grow as well. Plants dried out one day a little too much when I had guests over for the weekend and skipped a day and a half of watering, pistils on one plant curled in a bit. Temps and humid have been great compared to the summer, things look frostier and are smellier this time around. I'm sticking with aggressive nitrogen supplement during early flower, I think that was an issue last grow that might have limited growth, I def have some other very slight deficiencies going on, one plant in particular.

Starting my journal here, going backwards to retroactively add in the pics I took during veg and early flower, lots to go through. Things are frostier and smellier this 2nd time around with this strain, I think because temps have been more appropriate. This week it went up to 80's though. Everything is in 1gal pots now, which they will stay in. I'm experimenting this time around with many plants vs one big plant. Each plant is about a week apart, the two young ones up front only entered flower 2 weeks ago. I noticed some brown spots on leaves, which are either from droplets on leaves causing burns...or mites/gnats, which is still a minor problem in the entire room, not just cannabis plants. I might do another spinosad treatment. I've also been watering every other day, really letting the soil dry out entirely between waterings. I cut out those leaves so I can more easily monitor reoccurence.

Growing strong! Hairier and more crystal than the first time around, the pistils even look thicker. I think this is entirely due to better temps this second grow. Some of my stems are a little thin so I got a new fan to give them a little more wind. With time the little buds will start expanding and connecting to each other. I water every other day now, not daily like my first grow, which had some bug issues. I'm still doing more nitrogen at this point, i'll start cutting that back in maybe 2 weeks. My last grow yellowed fairly early so I want to avoid that. I want to let these mature as long as possible this time around. I cut some fan leaves that were blocking bud sites, as well as removing tiny bud sites from the bottom, just plucking them out with my fingers.

Still fairly tiny buds, but pretty much where the last grow was at, each is at different weeks in flowering though. The two in front are at week 6 and 7, the green pot is week 4 and the two in the back are week 3 only, so lots more growing to go. Temps continue to be great with the colder weather, no overheating at all, temp chart attached. They are frostier and have a better smell than the last grow where temps got a little high. I'm slowly cutting back nitrogen dose, them all being at different stages of flower makes things pretty variable amongst them, because they're all getting the same nutes. I can get a sense of what turns out best schedule wise when this grow is over, the two in front getting longer doses of N than the others. I'm much less concerned or worried about things this grow. Besides the early topping and pinching off very tiny buds at the bottom, they're growing naturally. 3 of them have an interesting tri-branch kind of structure, but the stems look a little weak, I anticipate having to stake them all pretty soon. Bugs seem to be less of an issue this time around, but I still get gnats on the fly paper.

Temp and Humidity have been a problem lately, you can see in the chart. It's been getting hotter out of nowhere and I don't have an AC installed anymore. I also had one horrendous morning where I opened the tent and saw condensation absolutely everywhere on the walls, because I had forgotten I briefly turned the fans off the night before. I have the concern of bud rot rolling around in the back of my head but so far everything looks ok. Hopefully things cool off soon, buds are already too advanced for humidity to be this damn high. Buds are smaller than my last grow, and less developed at this point in flower compared to the last grow. I'm thinking it's the small 1 gallon pots paired with the extensive branching I have in these clones. I'm in no rush this grow so I'll let them go as long as they need to in order to fill out, and to get more of a body high this go. I also suspect some nutrient deficiencies could be contributing. I've scaled back Nitrogen finally and I'm using a larger portion of Perfect Bloom. On the plus side, the buds are very sticky and smelly compared to last grow The two in front are at week 7 and 8 of flowering, the green pot is week 5 and the two in the back are week 4.

The two in front are at week 8 and 9 of flowering, the green pot is week 6 and the two in the back are week 5. I changed up nute ratios and I'm watering a little more often. It's cold out so temps and humidity have been great, no signs of mold after those super high humidity days last week. The stems could be thicker. I staked every plant up to maybe help the stem and allow buds to get heavier. There's not as much bud compared to the first grow. We'll see if things catch up. I finally got to sample the last (my first) batch and I'm very happy with the effect. It's got a fairly strong indica feel to me. It's a really gratifying feeling, to finally get the experience of homegrown. My other grow right now is a fat leafed indica dominant that I'm excited for.

The red pot is in week 10, the black pot also on the left is week 9. The green pot is week 7 and the two black pots on the right are week 6. From the tent photos you would think it's the yellowed leaved plants that are oldest, but they're not. I think they just grew bigger and taller than the others and are using up the nutes faster. I think I might start actually measuring pH and dechlorinating my water. My yields don't look like it will live up to my first grow. The right most plants are bigger and only week 6, so I think I will get at least 1oz. I'm going to be adding some silica and cal mag to my nute routine soon to see if that helps. Some of the leaves are yellowing on the older plants. I haven't looked at trichs yet. I'd say 70% of hairs are orange on the oldest plants.

Red pot is in week 11, the black pot also on the left is week 10. The green pot is week 8 and the two black pots on the right are week 7. I staked everything up even more, hoping it can pack on more weight at the end. It looks like I'll get at least an oz from the five plants. I bought some silica supplement and some cal mag, mostly for the next grow, but I used a dose of it on these plants, probably won't do much at this point. I check trichs on the oldest one, and saw a fair bit of amber on the sugar leaves, less on the actual bud leaves. I think I'm pretty close to harvest for two of them, and the younger ones have significant leaf yellowing going on, and more plant mass in general. All are the same exact genetics. I have another round of clones ready once these are done, with plans to sprinkle some BlueberryxWhiteWidow pollen from my other grow, and also to try and grow feminized CMOG seeds with silver.

It's going well, I think another week for the oldest one, all the trich pictures are from that one. I think buds may be a little denser this time around, so I'm hoping I get decent weight despite them looking smaller. Temps and humidity are great right now, 62F and 43%. I think what's different from my first grow is that veg was spent under a 10watt light. I haven't changed my tent from 11/13 since that grow, as I'm doing a continuous harvest type thing. I'd love to empty the tent and get a proper veg phase on the next grow The two small plants in the front are cuttings that are going to be pollinated to produce seed, one feminized CMOG and one regular cross with a blueberryxWW from my other grow. Just doing it for fun. Red pot is in week 12, the black pot also on the left is week 11. The green pot is week 9 and the two black pots on the right are week 8.

I harvested the oldest plant. First I took one branch off early last week, it yielded 2 grams dried, pic included. These buds are more dense than my first grow for sure. Then yesterday I harvested the rest of the plant. Trich pics of that plant are included, decent amber. The other plants need more time, and some are plumping up since adding the stakes. I see new pistils still growing even on the (new) oldest plant out of the 4 left in there. The next grow has entered the tent too, 3 small CMOG clones for seed, and one big one for flower. I'm more optimistic about yield after harvesting that small branch. I think I can expect minimum 10 grams from each plant, so getting over 2oz might be possible. The youngest two plants here are still at week 9, so still a few flowering posts to go.

Almost there. I harvested exactly 7grams dried from the plant harvested last week. It looks great, denser than my first grow, has a nice smell in the jar already. That was the smallest plant, so I'm hoping the other ones yield more. I know now I'll harvest minimum 1.25oz from the five 1-gallon plants, which is ok, but less than last time. My personal goal is to get 2oz out of a grow. I took each plant out and photographed it separately, pics turned out nicer this week. Looking frosty. I'm mostly just feeding with a tiny amount of silica and calmag now. Next round of plants on the bottom, they're all CMOG, but one will be used for feminized CMOG seeds, one for CMOG x BlueberryWW seeds and the other to turn male with colloidal silver, only on day 4 of sprays. There are some clones in veg not pictured. I plan to grow in FoxFarm soil next grow, and i'll be using the calmag and silica for the entire grow, hoping it helps yields. Until now I've used these very cheap bags of soil from the grocery store nearby.

Harvested today! I worked it out so that I have one harvested at 11 weeks, two at 12 weeks, one at 13 weeks, and one at 14 weeks. I labelled each branch before putting them in my makeshift drybox to keep track and i'll can each separately. I want to see the difference in effect at different weeks. The 14 weeker had a lot of amber, the trichs pictured. I feel pretty good about the weight this time, I could get to 2oz. I have 7 grams already canned from an early branch I harvested and it's much better than my first grow, which I think suffered from high temps. The density is better this time around, but still could be denser. I still feel like i'm not doing nutes right, and I use a super weak 10watt grow bulb for veg, to just leave the tent perpetually on 11/13. I also saw my first nanner this grow, on the bottom-most bud of one plant, so I'm a little concerned. I'm worried my veg light next to the tent is leaking light into it, maybe by the zipper, where this one was near. Oh, also I should probably not have given calmag at the end, didn't realize it had N. The plants handled N really differently between each other, some looking deficient early into flower. I also flowered forever. Even my flower light is a bit under powered, which I think makes my trichs take a while to amber. I also re-used soil for some of the pots. It's also bagseed. Full harvest post with weight probably in 7-10 days

Five plants, in five cans. I again did not get to two ounces, oh well. I wanted to see what I could get out of 5 smaller pots vs the two 1.7gal pots I used in my first grow, and the result was I got a quarter less. Each plant on average put out only a quarter oz. The cool thing is I have 4 different flowering times in this harvest, 14, 13, 12 (x2), and 11 weeks, each separated into its own can. The bud is better this second time around. My first grow had these hairy, air-y looking buds, with a decent amount of chrystals. This bud is denser. The bad part, I found one seed while canning, which is concerning. On the other hand I'm also kind of excited to plant it. There's a small chance it could be blueberryxWW pollen that I used to pollinate one plant about a month ago, or just stress. I added a veg light that sits just outside of the tent, so I'm worried that the tent's light-proofness maybe wasn't enough to block that light from getting in. The next grow, my 3rd, i'm going back to the set up I originally used with the two 1.7gal pots and seeing what I can get as a slightly more experienced grower with a much better temperature situation. thanks to everyone who followed the grow. cheers
