I am very excited to run these genes again, since i feel i did not do justice the last time i grew her. Doing SOG in a 4x4 tent with 9 plants in 3 gallon airpots filled with FoxFarm CocoLoco. Only 3 of the 9 will be PE, but i know she will yield nicely if i apply what ive learned since i last grew her.
Woooooo!!! Its been one hell of a week. These ladies have been keeping me busy! I have been doing LST every morning which consists of tucking fan leaves. You can get the idea of what my end-goal is on the before and after pics. I can already see the benefit of tucking just a few days later.
Today is 10/8/20 and marks Day 20 for these young ladies. They are just chugging along!
Not-suprised at all, but these girls are dominantly taking off and beneifitting GREATLY from the daily tucking. The side-branches are taking off and almost dont need tucking at this point. These girls have been LOVING the training. I do not plan on topping or doing any crazy training with this batch, but instead running SOG. I will be spacing them out this next week.
I also decided to drop some cash on new lights. Instead of going with the SpiderFarmer like I planned, i went for a similar priced quantum board light that uses the same mean-well driver and Samsung LM301B diodes. However, these boards are more spread-out, giving a more even coverage. The SF2000 is great, but still only about 13in X 23in. The lights i bought are 13in x 47in. I included some pics of the lights for reference.
The brand is LenoFocus and they consume 200W each, meaning my 4x4 will be running 400W in lighting total. Overall the pair was $100 cheaper than the pair of SpiderFarmers.

These ladies are EXPLODING and drinking much more now that they are growing. It looks like I will be upping the PPMs.
These ladies smell like a tropical wonderland! Chugging along!

So uh. I waited about 24 hours too long to water again. Now that these ladies are EXPLODING, they demand more water and food. I am watering every 48hrs. The pic I added is of the PE lady who is experiencing the starvation and dehydration the worst.
Technically I have not been giving them much water volume, since I was waiting on new drain pans for runoff. I gave them a 350 PPM feeding of close to 1/2gal each.
They LOVE the new lights!

I had a realization as I was tucking my ladies today. The lower leaves that are yellowing out on the middle PE was actually caused by a mixture of windburn compounded with general nute deficiencies. I included a pic of the middle lady from today, but with those yellow leaves removed. They are still doing very well and spreading out on their own.

Today is day 37. I switched up my nutes this week, turns out the Advanced Nutrients base nutes were reacting with other nutes. I am switching to whats left of my FF for now while I wait for my new nute lineup to come.
Now that the PPMs are finally higher, i can see that the girls are much happier. No real LST besides leaf-tucking. These ladies are stretching and opening up nicely, however one is still a bit behind in growth and shorter.
