My first time running the wilma system, the light, and my first autos but so far I'm really happy. Just changed the reservoir to bloom so hoping to see some flowers soon. The front right plant is 9days behind but seem to be catching up well. I have just removed two large fan leaves as they was covering 2 bud sites on the plants at the back.
I had some roots coming from the bottom of the wilma which I thought was cool but they started to go green under the intense light and I read that is not a good sign, so I have since tucked them back under and hope it hasn't done any damage. Quite happy with it. I'm still unsure if I should defoliate or just let them go. I am new to all this but I'm having a blast learning and watching.
So for week 6 I decided to drop the light schedule to 18hrs to try to kickstart the back two into flower, that hasn't happened so I'm back to 24hrs. This is my first auto grow so it's trial and error. I've been stripping fan leaves and some lower weaker bud sites out as I go because it's pretty tight in there. My fan has not been creating enough airflow because the tent was getting wet under plant height, so I have moved my fan to under the plants. At the end of week 7 it has been going pretty well , I'm still waiting on the plant that I baked the roots of to start flowering fully, it's showing signs, but if it takes a couple of weeks longer so be it. I've had to defoliate again because it's getting sweaty on the walls. Ive been changing the Res on the wilma every 10 days which seems to be working well. See ya next week ✌️🏻
The 2 at the back are still way behind in terms of flowers but they they're still growing in height, so I've had to cable tie the light up even higher. Front 2 seem to be doing well but defo need to learn how to LST properly on the next one 😳✌️🏻
So this week I have had to split the plants, one is really some way behind so I've managed to sweet talk the wife into letting me get another tent 😉 this plant may be behind but it's fucking massive compared to the others, plenty of decent bud sites so now she has all the space she needs. I have to feed her by hand now rather than the wilma but that's no real problem. Can't wait to see what next week brings already. At the start of this week I bought another lumatek light for the 2nd tent and I'm already seeing the rewards. We have a smart meter and it seems the tent cost on average is 5p per hour so why the fuck not get another one eh?🤷♂️🏼 I have been feeding the solo plant from the wilma Res so it stays consistent but I'll be flushing them very soon indeed. Well we reached day 77 and they finally came down. I did get some bud rot in the final week due to turning off my heater (I think) too soon.as soon as I noticed it I had to cut it, 2 days before the rest of it came down. That cost me about 1/2 Oz probably. I used plant magic flush for 5 days and water for 2, the TDS was 46 odd so I chopped em. It has been great fun growing these little beauties and they smell wonderful. Im hoping I can lock in the smell and taste. I will be posting more pics of the chop and let you know how she's tasting when she's ready. If anyone likes to pummel nutes through their plants I cannot recommend a Wilma anymore than this. Those roots say it all 💪🏻💪🏻 looking forward to the smoke report ✌️🏻
And then there was one... This beast took over the tent and needed its own space so thats what I gave it and boy did it repay the favour! Plenty of really dense bud with a wonderful smell. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 💚
Really nice old school bud. I've enjoyed growing this strain, I planted 4 seeds straight into 5.8 ph'd rockwool and they never looked back. I hammered them with light 24/7 they responded. UPDATE: the solo plant weighed in at a 156g after it was all dried and trimmed which was more than the other 3 put together. Really nice fruity pungent smoke which also gives a very nice high. Will be growing more in the near future 👍🏻 thanks to those who gave me a like along the way it always adds a bit of encouragement ✌️🏻
I've enjoyed every minute of this and I'm really pleased with how they turned out . I've learned quite a bit. I decided to dry them for 10 days leaving the stalks as long as I could to absorb more flavour, also I had to give them a light trim as I found a small amount of bud rot but I think I caught it really early. All in all I'm very pleased with all the products I used and will be using them again without a doubt. Thanks for reading my ramblings lol ✌️🏻

This is my first run with this set up. ive done an outdoor 1oz per plant and more recently in a tent grow with a cheap Amazon light 1/4 Oz per plant 😭 having a wilma system has made feeding so easy, I could leave for a week and it would still be cool. @Heregrowsnothing, yh I was thinking about that too, I'm doing 2 strains and one says 8 week flowering and other says 8-10 week. I'm just hoping they both finish up around same time so I can flush all of em together.... and thanks mate 👍🏻 good luck with rest of your grow 😎😎👊🏻
@CxllxnGrows, i think the wilma is a great bit of kit, easy to use and feeding around the clock! I also like the fact it doesn't seem to cost a fortune in nutes either. The only problem I've come across is where I've done autos, 3 of them are now being flushed while the 4th is now midway through flowering. But apart from that I would recommend it to anyone.I've already started prepping my next run 😁 your garden is coming along a treat mate, keep doing what you're doing and you'll smash it 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
@Weedseedsexpress, if you think that's impressive then have a look at the video attached on week 9. These are your very own feminised GSC. I didn't grow it but I know it was grown organically and it's tastes fantastic. That was their first attempt too. I must say you have some fantastic genetics within these seeds so thank you ✌️🏻
Amazing, thank you for sharing! I might change the light for that exact same. SO, same lamp for veg and flo, there's a switch for changing spectrum? I'm on 60x60 and the height for the light would save space!
I'm in my first week of growing NL x BB. I've perused several diaries and grows and I believe it's safe to say this is NOT a 9-10 week strain as advertised, but more like 13 weeks. Bummer I needed this to be a 10 week strain. Excellent grow, by the way.
