yinandyang Started this for a friend to grow outdoor, but realised he wasn't going to do it. Was getting tall, but seeing as I'm keeping her indoors now, I've bent the top down.
She is the tallest plant I've grown for the age, but seems healthy.

yinandyang Don't know why, but she's the biggest auto I've grown. Have tried to flatten her out with some lst. There are looking to be so many bud sites 😁
Still no real smell though.

yinandyang I'm still impressed with how big and quickly she is growing.
But, noticed bloody hermie bananas on there this week. Not all the buds, just a few at one end. Have pulled them off with tweezers, and am hoping no more, but I'll be pissed if it seeds my other plants.
I think RQS genetics should be good, but there has been no sign of stress on the plant. Possibly just too close to the lights, but the other end of the plant was exactly the same position with no bananas, so not sure

yinandyang Growing crazy fast.
Has gotten a full juicy strawberry sort of smell happening.
A few too many leaves turning yellow a bit too early for my liking, will try and drop pH a little and see if this helps.
Spotted a couple of seeds developing from the bananas i didn't pull off in time, hopefully not too many though

Brown spots on dying yellow leaves. This has happened on most of my plants after budding so thinking it may be a soil problem. My guess is boron, manganese or phosphorus as the stems on some plants are red.
It starts low and eventually ends affecting buds too so I chop.

Brown spots on the leaves during flowering can be a sign of Magnesium or Calcium deficiency. To tell them apart, you need to look closely at the spot; if the spots are brown and surrounded by a strong brown edge, it's Calcium (it looks burnt), while if the spots are simply brown and you see yellowish spots between the veins, it's Magnesium.
Even if the leaf color is more yellow than normal (it looks like a watering issue), zooming in shows that the area around the veins does take on a more yellowish tone. So, it seems like a Magnesium deficiency.
Still, try giving them a bit more water to see if the color of the upper leaves improves.

yinandyang Looking good. Lots of lower leaves going yellow like a n deficiency I think. Trying to get pH down. Only one more banana, but still a few little caterpillars every day

yinandyang Getting very close. A lot of the leaves have yellowed and fallen off but the trichomes have no amber yet. Usually I'd panic now and shoot early and harvest, but this time I'm going to try and hold fast.

yinandyang This one grew very easily. Just started to show some deficiency towards the end but aside from that fine.
There were a few bananas that popped up on some of the flowers, not sure if this was genetics or something to do with the grow. They were sort of randomly on a couple of flowers.
Smell was super juicy and rich when she first started flowering but this dropped back to normal pine pot sort of smell towards the end.
Will be interesting to see what it smells like after cure
