Update 5th October - day 2
Auto Mazar - The Bakery Seed Co.
-Biobizz Light Mix & Canna Clay Pebbles, Ratio 5:1
-15L plastic pot
Started seed in its final pot on the 29th September and covered with a plastic bottle to maintain humidity levels, we watered the pot with water at pH 6.4 and placed it in the grow room for 12-24 hours before sowing the seeds to activate the microbials in the compost and bring it up to a good temperature. Seed germinated in 4 days and the first true leaves are coming through.
Update 12 October - day 10
Plant had a drink of water yesterday, with Ecothrive neutralise to take out the chlorine and chloramine and pH down added to get it to 6.4.
We sprayed with biobizz leafcoat before lights out last night, so if any pests find their way in they'll have an extra layer to get through!
Will add more pictures as the week goes on.
Happy growing 🌱
backlog - unable to access site
this week the mazar was sprayed with biobizz leafcoat and had her first feed. Not much to update - shes looking healthy.
Update day 28
This week the plant has had two feeds of Bio Nova super soilmix and she's looking happy
We did FIMing a couple of days ago which it's responded well to, it doesn't seem to have stressed it out. Waiting to get plant bends to do some light lst and expose the bud sites
This week the mazar is taking off, it's grown a lot over the week
We've done some lst with plant bends and defoliated to open up the canopy and expose the lower bud sites
It's looking good, exciting to watch her grow!
This week the mazar has had a few feeds
Realised it was sat too close to the heater and had a bit of heat stress cause the leaves were curling up on the side closest to the heater, moved it a bit further away and it bounced back fairly quickly
Done some defoliating to expose the many buds sites!
done some light defoliation
there is some leaf tips twisting, this plant was closest to the heater thought it might be heat dosnt seem to have eased up
plenty bud sites coming through, buzzin
Mazar is getting pretty big but has been looking quite sad and droopy, especially at night..
as you can see in the photos there's some crispy leaf tips on the older leaves and the newer leaves are really thin and have been twisting at the ends
she had a feed yesterday and will get another tomorrow so hopefully she'll bounce back soon
tested the run off
6.7 pH - 490ppm
the photos are from yesterday - she is looking a bit better today but haven't taken a photo!
After the deficiencies we noticed last week we've been gradually increasing the nutrients
she's looking much happier but still pretty slow
potentially has leaves turning purple, think it's down to genetics
She's looking much happier this week and starting to build up the buds!
The plant is pretty massive so hoping it's just gonna get stronger from here
She was looking really sad a few weeks ago so it's nice to see some happy growth!
Buds are quite fluffy but pistils starting to turn orange now
Still growing pretty slowly, not sure how long she's gonna take to be finished
Hopefully just a few more weeks
Still a lot of white pistils so thinking's she's gonna be a few more weeks
Seems the nutrient deficiencies earlier on have slowed the growth down quite a bit and the nugs are not that big
Not much going on just flushing
Can see how the nutrient deficiencies early on have stunted it at this point
Checked the trichomes and there's still some clear and not many amber at all
Think she might need another week to mature before we chop her
Nutrient deficiencies got quite bad at one point and seems to have resulted in the buds not having much of a flavour yet, hopefully this will get better after a cure!
It really enjoyed the fiming and had good form, it was easy to trim - good bud:leaf ratio, much easier to trim than the OG Kush in our other diary. We got it as a free seed and would buy it to grow again in the future 👍
