Powderfinger This is a first grow, grown to this point with composted soil, only used a dropper of Schultz plant food and some Epsom salts. I added black powder to get them going into flower.
I topped the two highest branches right before flowering. Didn't want a height issue in the tent.

Powderfinger Still packing on weight, milky trichomes, a few amber ones, started the flush. Heavy buds, no deficiencies from start until now. I've used some molasses along the way. This plant loves being alive, it doesn't show a single yellow leaf after 7+ weeks.
Edit: I stopped the flush and added some more nutes after more pistils popped out like rays of sunshine. Gonna grow another week and then flush.
Also shown is a tomato I just harvested. If you can grow these, you can grow weed.
Day 5, I think I blasted the plants with too much light and they're starting to foxtail. The HLG's are overkill so I backed way off.

I started flushing 4 days ago and suddenly the buds all started growing some nice long white pistils. Is this a last gasp or should I add more nutes and grow some more? I have mostly milky trichomes, a few clear and some amber. Also the leaves are turning purple around the edges.

I would give nutes at 50% what ppm you were running let dry (not wilt) and continue flush.
Flush 10 + days let dry last few then harvest 2 weeks 2 days. I always go 14-18 days longer than I think. I feel that's when the bulk up and stikify.

Powderfinger Down the home stretch. This is the final week and I am continuing the flush.
The newer white pistils are slowing down and drying up. Fan leaves are starting to discolor and die off.
The buds seem healthy, heavy and tight with some larger newish calyxes. I'm not sure if late calyxes make good buds but they do add mass.
I thought they were foxtailing last week but that seems to have stopped after an initial bulge atop a few colas.
Overall, it looks like they're doing just fine to me.
Contrary to popular belief, the HLG lights put off quite a bit of heat so I hung fans above them as shown above. They run MUCH cooler now.

Powderfinger Harvest is complete. Around 1lb, 15oz wet plus trimmings. I gave away a few nugs already. Will update more later.

@igrowtomatoes, you won't regret adding fans. The lights run nice and cool all the time now. Hang the fans very close to the drivers or else you'll blow heat down into your grow. I use pulley ratchets and they're very convenient. I suppose you could attach them directly to the light somehow too but I didn't want any vibration in the lights.
