These shown are now entering the 3rd week since cracking the seeds so it was time to transplant them to their 10 litre pots. In theory you count them last two weeks as the seedling period so the verging cycle now begins.
These have been under intense light for their size. I like to give them a Lot of power to keep the nodes tight together.
They were at 5 nodes already and doing well so I topped them.
They’re flying now!
The 3 at the front are Blue Dream CBD and those at the back that are a bit smaller and less growth are Dinafem CBD plus.
The genetics of the Blue Dream seem to be stronger and more resilient and take feeding a lot better.
Final week of Vegging before switching to 12/12.
Really happy so far. I’ve topped once and LST giving the lower branch’s time to catch up with the tops ones to create a candle holder shape letting light get down the middle.
I usually lollipop and remove lower week stems and any stems coming up through the middle.
Week 1 of flowering, the stretch begins.
Dropped temps at night as summer ends. Continue to defoliate pulling off and stems lower than 2 nodes from the top to make sure there’s no popcorn bud and all energy and light is focused on the main top colas.
I still LST using wire to keep canopy even and enable lower branches to become main colas.
Flowers are starting to show now and they’re stretching really well. Almost too well. Starting to smell amazing too 😊
I’ve give them a final trim and picked and stems below 2nd node from top.
This is the last time I’ll touch them as I done want to stress them now the stretch is over and they are well into flowering.
Final defoliation now to clear out some room for light to penetrate buds. I always worry if I’m taking too much off but many growers swear by it.
Make sure you water straight after. This is the last chop I’ll do now till harvest.
