Very excited to introduce what I call Platonium! It is a cross of my super frosty sugar cane pheno aka cane sugar and a fat frosty platinum jelly pheno. Going to run the dutch buckets with 100% perlite. Nutrients will be recirculating 24 hours a day and they will be under a 240w QB 24 hour lighting for the first couple weeks. They were planted in the system on day 3 with a little maxigro. Will be a lot of watching and waiting for now.....
This girl didnt like the light intensity she was getting. The leaves curled up quite a bit. I went ahead and topped her on day 10 and moved the light up a little. Also cut the light back to 18 hours. Upped the feed a little on day 14
Day 21 and I tied down a few branches to spread them out a little. This platonium has a lot bigger node spacing than the other plants. They seem happy with the nutrients so I didnt mess with the reservoir this week. Will probably give them a little calmag before the end of next week. Just going to try to keep up with some training to get as many tops as possible. Debating on building some type of scrog this run but still undecided.
Been away from the plants for a couple days but I returned to a lot of dense growth. Removed a couple leaves and spread them out a little. Will be switching to flower soon. This girl always get droopy close to bedtime but is nice and perky in the morning. She is sensitive to the light intensity.
I received my new ts1000 light from Mars Hydro today and it is a really nice light. After seeing the impressive numbers this light put out on the migro test I had to try it. She will be hooked up in the mars tent soon.
Everything is going smooth. Starting to see some stretching. I have removed a few leaves on the top to help get light deeper into the plant. I am going to start them on some maxibloom when they start popping pistils.
Not going to go into much detail on the individual plants this week since there is nothing exciting to report. Only note this week is something we all pretty much know already. Organics and hydroponics dont play well together! I was using gringo Rasta calmag and it clogged all my feed lines. I ordered some calimagic so this wont be an issue anymore. Everyone is growing well and stretching quite a bit. I started them on some maxibloom. I will increase it as I lower the maxigro over the next couple weeks. Pretty boring right now, but stick around a few weeks and that might change.
This platonium is a beast. Shes put on a huge stretch and has a nice amount of branches that are starting to grow some buds. I have them on half bloom and half grow now. Will probably cut our the maxigro in about a week and start them in a pinch if flower boosters. Other than that everything is running smooth.
All the plants are building buds. Gave them a little beastie bloomz. I cut them off the maxigro today since the leaf tips are burning. Other than that everything is going smooth.
Gave the girls a flush and a complete water change this week. That was only the second water change they have had this grow. I have just been letting them drink the reservoir almost empty and then filling it up with fresh nutes. The 5 plants are drinking about 4 gallons a day combined. Been running AC when the lights are on and the dehumidifier 24 hours a day. All of the plants are showing some decent trichome production. Running 1/2 tsp maxibloom and 1/8 tsp beastie bloomz per gallon every time I add water. Seems to be keeping everyone happy.
Started flushing this one. Gave her a good 10 gallon flush to start and she will get 5 gallons of RO water per day for 10 days or so. Took a couple early samples.
