There’s a Herercane coming through!!!

Blame me not her for the shoddy camera work. Disclaimer over. . . . Now to the good stuff!!! This is the first diary of the 2.0 account. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for sometime. Show off the behind the scenes stuff that leads to boss lady’s pictures. Now we will see how we get to those shots. And what a way to start! Wickedstixgenetics Herercane. A custom breed brought to us by the former machine that was green! We’ve seen the fire that comes from his grows so I’m really pumped to take this project on. We have his full line and will be running them all right here and on insta. Since this was a Greenmachine breed and venture, how could I NOT run this in dutch buckets. This man saved my hydro ass more than a few times, and he raves these buckets and maxi since the day we first said hello. So that’s how this will be done. This bucket set up is basically just a scaled down version of the one I built for when they get bigger. After seeing how much size his solo cups did and ours is doing in 16oz cups, I decided to do the veg in this set up using 24oz or so cups. Once they are ready for flowering I’ll transplant into the big table I’m still putting finishing touches on. So, here it is. The beginning of something wonderful. Please follow along. This new set up is running quite well so far. It’s been a mess around here with harvest and moving things around. It’s nuts. The plant is thriving so far. She’s really exploding with growth finally. I can sense a topping coming here soon. Not much to report yet, but we’re getting to the good stuff soon. Thanks for looking.

Well, as you can see we had some issues and learned some stuff this week. I’ll be honest, I was ready to scrap the grow and start over. However wickedstix himself convinced us to fight through this and personally walked us through his way of fixing and BAM here we are. Wickedstix suggested new nutes and transplanting into the big buckets I had ready to go. The issues you can see were caused by cheesecloth of all things. I started these in cups just because wickedstix did his solos that way, and they were cool. I lined mine with cheesecloth, which broke down and had all kinds of issues going at the roots. Transplant complete, new nutes in the res and we’re off to the races. This is the kind of growth I was expecting. So much recovery I even topped these girls this week. Wickedstix was dedicated to saving his girls, and so we were able to. I’m glad. Because these are gonna be beautiful now that the new system kinks are lined out. Thanks for looking!

Well, here’s that crazy growth wickedstix has always been telling me about with these buckets. I may finally be completely sold on them. They have EXPLODED this week. They seem to have battled back fully from all the abuse they were handed early on. Might flip to flower and start the show next week! Thanks for looking.

Been a active week with these girls. Recovered almost immediately from the topping. Did some light training. Moved them out of the veg tent and into the flowering tent. Trying out the new table I build to house them. Hopefully it works out. They’ve been in there about 7 hours now. All looks well so far. Thanks for looking and see ya next week!

Well, I’ll be completely honest. I had to go back and verify these had only been flowering a week. Which they have. The growth has been insane. Wickedstix and his buckets were absolutely the way to treat these girls. They are happy, healthy and blowing up. Pistils are coming on, so the show is getting ready to start. Stay tuned. This week go busy. So updating late. But the pics are Forrest and the week is correct. At this point they are loving the hydro table. Stretching a lot. Wickedstix is about a week ahead of me and his are still blowing up. So, I assume same is to speak of mine. That’s it for this week. Thanks for looking.

Well, the explosion in growth happened just like I figured. Wicked wasn’t kidding about these buckets. These 2 gallons are gonna be some of the biggest we’ve grown. The old hydro table was no match for wickeds genetics and forced a revision. As you can see, full redesign of the whole system. Still dutch buckets, just a more manageable version for us with plenty of height to grow. It’s been running one day now with no leaks or issues, let’s hope that holds up as we move forward. Still growing good and stacking up nicely. No issues with herercane or canesugar either one. They’ve carried over those tight buds from InHouse just the way he planned. Those are gonna be some beauties. I bet we start seeing the frost pile up by next update. Thanks for looking.

Starting to see some frost come on nice on both these wickedstix strains. The Herercane as you can see is a bit hungrier than the rest, so at wickeds suggestion I’ve added back .25 maxigro back into the mix for a bit. Other than the discoloration, these girls still look great. The buds are everything I’ve grown to expect them to be from watching wickedstix grow on them. Can really ask for more here. Both of these girls seem to be speeding to the finish line. Wickedstix flipped his about a week before mine if we remember right. Seems like my Herercane atleast is speeding past. Perhaps pheno, might be these small 2 gal pots. I feel like they work, but I’m not getting the full benefit I could be. After this run, 5 gallon buckets and some tweaks to the system and try it all again. The plants them selves look pretty nice. Some yellowing coming on. I’ve not dosed these how I typically would. I’ve got younger ones in the same res, so I’ve pretty much just relied on maxibloom to power through the issues. Seems to be working decently in my option as all these buds are gorgeous, tight, aroma filled beauties. Can’t wait to try them all out. Thanks for looking everyone, I’ll see ya next week.

We’re just about to finish these two wickedstix gems up. We’ve got cloudy everywhere with some amber starting to sneak in. I don’t have for amber heavy high, so we will pull a little early like we usually do. I couldn’t ask for much more. These things are frosted to the tips just the way we all figured they would. Anyone knowing wicked knows good and well frost is how his mind operates. And these both show that very well. And finally, since they’re about done and out of the tent, the next round of photos I’ll be pulling out the big guns and having boss lady put the new equipment to use. Let’s see what we get!
