This will be my fourth grow, second auto based on results from my last auto grow. Those plants were fast at 9 weeks from sprout to chop with great quality and yield. Plan this time is no topping, no LST...first grow with no training. Upgraded from 3 to 5 gallon pots to increase yield. Dropped 4 seeds into distilled water Saturday October 3rd. I’m anxious to see these plants with main colas intact. Seedsman genetics - Green Crack Auto Fem - Mostly Sativa - THC 20%, CBD 0.7% - Yield indoors 500-650 gram/m2 - Plant height 60-90 cm - Flowering time 63-70 days from seedling - Taste Flowery, Fruity, Mango - Effect Cerebral, Creative, Energetic, Euphoric, Stimulating , Uplifting Plants 4 Indoor - Custom built cabinet (3’ x 3’ x 6.5’ H); 4” filter/exhaust, HEPA filtered passive intake, no light leaks Soil grow - Roots Organics 707 amended with perlite, worm castings, silica 5 gallon plastic pots (new upgrade this grow from 3 gallon pots for yield) Light Sunsystem 315w CMH (1) - Phillips internal ballast - Bulb veg Phillips 4k (4200) - Bulb flower Phillips 3k (3100) Light cycle 18/6 from seed Water adjusted to PH 6.5 - well (tap) average PH 7.5, PPM 142, EC 302 @70F Nutrients seedlings - Superthrive Nutrients veg - Biocanna Bio Vega, TPS CalMag - all organic Nutrients flower - Biocanna Bio Flores, Budswel, TPS CalMag - all organic Equipment stats...calculated hours after Grow #3 - Exhaust fan 4” (24/7) 1,848 hours (total 7,560) - Carbon filter 4” (24/7) 1,848...cheap filter failed to control all smell at end of the grow/dry. Replaced with a new filter for Grow #4...expect to get at least two grows from a new carbon filter. - Ballast Phillips (rated 50,000 hours) 1,080 hours (total 3,936) - Phillips 4k bulb veg (rated 20,000 hours) 648 hours (total 2,640) - Phillips 3k bulb flower (rated 30,000 hours) 432 hours (total 1,296) - New 10x20” HEPA filter each grow - passive air intake through light box I pre-watered the four pots, 2 gallons total adjusted to 6.5 PH with 1 ml/gallon Superthrive. Watered pots upfront to increase RH for the seedlings. Covered all with small humidity domes. Lights 18/6 at 48”...will drop to 24” a few days after the seedlings are up. Calling today Day 1, Saturday October 10. I have two up and can see a bit of the third. Ive had 100% germination my first three grows and was getting concerned whether these would sprout at all. I soaked for three days, no tails visible, then planted all four. It took 3 days for the first to pop. I have one more seed as back up, will decide later today if I soak it or keep waiting on the fourth. Thanks for checking out my grow. Update - Day 7, end of week 1 from first sprout. Starting to see some traction on the first 2 that popped earlier this week. I dropped 2 auto back up seeds earlier this week, saw tails 3 days later...no sign if those 2 as of this afternoon. Temps range 68-82F, RH 31-51. That’s about it for this week. I will drop additional pics if any action on the stragglers. Have some f-gnats from the fresh bag of soil...added a couple handfuls of Mosquito Bits to the top, will treat the soil every watering...had zero F-gnats last grow.

Day 14, end of week 2 from sprout. I only got 2 of 5 Green Crack Autos to germinate; they are the bigger two plants. Good growth this week, starting to take off now. The GC both received their first feeding mid-week. The Blueberry Auto is just starting to push out new small leaves; it will be about a week behind the two GC. Nothing poking up yet in the 4th pot...dropped in 2 Cream Mandarine XL Auto seeds found from my last grow. Both were healthy and had white tails when planted a couple days ago. Assuming I get at least one going the next few days that will be about 2 weeks behind. My grow cabinet in my nursery, veg, flower and drying space. If the stragglers are a bit immature when time to harvest I will run as hash or have some speedier weed. Thanks for stopping by.

Day 21, end of week 3 from first Green Crack auto sprouts. Only 3 of the 5 GC germinated, one of those didn’t make it. The GC both grew about 8” this week and branching nicely. Other than pre-flowers no sign of pistils yet. The Blueberry auto backup is playing catch up and got its first feeding earlier this week. The Cream Mandarine XL auto back up (our own seeds from last grow) is further behind but expect it to take off when it gets first feed soon. RH range 31-52, Temp range 68-82F. Each week will be bigger changes going forward.

Day 28, end of week 4 from Green Crack auto sprouts. Despite the 5 gallon pots the GC are drinking faster than previous grows, heavy to light pots in 4 days...both were drooping slightly early today. Today fed/watered the two GC the usual for veg, one gallon across both plants 6.5 PH, Biocanna Biovega 2 tsp and TPS Cal-Mag 2 ml, all organic. The Green Crack plants both doubled in size this past week and throwing up pistils. None of these autos will be topped and no LST. I want to see what they look like untouched and should have some nice fat main buds. The back up plants are doing well. The Blueberry auto pretty much caught up to the two GC in height this week despite being about 1 week behind, also throwing up pistils. The Cream Mandarine XL auto is taking off now, about 2 weeks behind. The last grow was fast at 9 weeks sprout to harvest. I expect the CMXL auto to catch up pretty fast. Temps ranging 68 to 84 F, RH 33 to 57. Added a third fan low today to increase airflow as things get dense and crowded. Smell is starting to ramp up a bit. In the last picture the Green Crack autos are perking up after watering and grew another 1/2” since this morning. I will swap in the flower bulb after stretch is done and will switch to flower nutes then. Back up plan if I run out of headroom will be to swap out the CMH 315 light and replace with my (so far unused) thinner Next Light Core light. Thanks for stopping by.

Day 35,end of week 5 from Green Crack auto sprouts. I expected days between watering would increase going to the 5 gallon pots. The 3 bigger plants are actually needing water every few days. Went with 1/2 strength veg nutes this past week to address some minor tip burn. The Cream Mandarine XL auto is working to catch up and is still on veg nutes. The Blueberry and the 2 Green Crack autos got their first flowering feed yesterday as stretch appears to be slowing. Plants are growing how they want to this grow with no topping or training. May be a mistake for yield but I wanted to see what would happen. There are a lot of bud sites forming nicely. The Blueberry flowers are bright white and the Green Crack are lime green. I can raise my light a few more inches and am already testing how the plants are reacting to being less than 24” from the top of the plant. Pics are from this morning.

Two days ago was Day 42, end of week 6 from Green Crack Auto sprouts. All plants despite back-up stragglers now on flowering nutes, Budswel (2x) and Cal-Mag. All got a full water/feed earlier today. The CMH 315w is as high as it will go in my grow cabinet. The tallest GC plant is 18” from the light...closest for my grows so far...seems like stretch has finally slowed. Many secondary GC bud sites all sort of leveled out together. This grow continues to be 100% no touch, no topping, no LST, no defoliation. I wanted to see at least one indoor grow au natural. The back-up Blueberry Auto is impressive, buds building really nicely...sugar leaves are getting frosty already. The late Cream Mandarine XL Auto back-up is all caught up now, anxious to compare yield to my last LST CMXL auto grow. The 3k flower bulb goes in tomorrow to finish what should be another 4 weeks of flower. Temps and RH steady and good. I know the foliage is dense but I pull in HEPA filtered cool air at the bottom of the cabinet and it flows up through the entire grow up to the filter up top. Also have 3 clip fans moving air lightly, one on the floor. Looking forward to bud bulking the next few weeks and maybe some fall colors. Pics from two days ago.

Day 49, end of week 7 from Green Crack Auto seedlings. All plants now on flowering nutes, also decided to 2x the Budswel guano “tea” until harvest. Swapped in the 3k flower bulb last week, you can see the redder light in the cabinet. Green Crack Auto’s, the two in the back, are starting into fall fade...reddish after yellowing. With no topping, LST or training the bud sites arranged themselves at a somewhat even canopy surrounding the main cola on both. There were a few spent leaves low, so pulled those. The Cream Mandarine XL Auto, front left, is doing well catching up and still deep green despite the flowering nutes. The sleeper is the Blueberry Auto, front right, a freebie about a week behind the Green Crack. Nice structure, started building buds quickly and is very frosty already. Plants are taking about 2 gallons total water/nutes every 4-5 days. Should be about 3 more weeks until chop...suspect the Green Crack may need a little longer. Pics from this morning.

Day 56, end of week 8 from Green Crack Auto seedlings. All but the Cream Mandarine XL Auto (front left), late and the last to catch up, are showing fall colors. No training...only fans and leaves that are used up have been plucked so far. Stretch is done...buds are building nicely. The two Green Crack Auto’s in the back are my tallest plants so far...5 gallon pots boosting size. Both GC plants are different. The CMH315w is the highest it will go...also a first. With heat on now in the finished basement and light height maxed the cabinet temp also got to 90F high...usually runs 68 to 88F. The GC sativas and all are taking the summer heat...two weeks or so to go. The freebie Blueberry Auto front right is really nice...getting all purple. I have 5 more of those seeds. Indica for sure...buds frosty and fat...probably will be serious amber in 2 more weeks. My cabinet is also used to dry, so need to harvest all together. This is the Green Crack Auto grow, so will harvest all on their schedule. All are throwing up white pistils...will check trichomes on the GC up top in another week. Pics from this morning.

Day 63, end of week 9 from Green Crack Auto seedlings. The plants will be watered deeply and fed later today, likely the last watering. I will scope this weekend but assume chop in the next week or so. The Blueberry auto is a nice plant, frosty for weeks. The Cream Mandarine XL auto is looking similar to my last grow except no LST. Pics from today.

Day 70, end of week 10 from Green Crack Auto seedlings. Scope earlier in the week cloudy with chance of amber. Light off yesterday midday. A few hours later fans were trimmed pre chop. This was my second auto grow. It ended up being a mixed auto grow due to germination issues on the feature Green Crack Auto grow. Back ups were a freebie Blueberry Auto...really the nicest plant of this grow...purple, fat, frosty, blizzard of calyxes...pictures don’t do her justice. The Cream Mandarine XL Auto was one of a few precious seeds I found from my first Auto grow...that smoke is just the best. This was an experiment grow...to see what these plants would do structure and yield wise with no training and no touch. Only used up fans were removed as they fell off. Lots of Fall colors from organic soil grow with redder flowering bulb and extra guano tea to finish and fatten. Plants put back in the cabinet last night and chopped this morning. Light and clip fans pulled...drying rack inserted and grow cabinet doubles as initial dry box. Pics from after the fans were trimmed. I predict an awesome hash wash based on all the straggly buds we pulled from under the Green Crack girls. Expect significant sugar leaf trim to add to that hash wash. Preliminary visual assessment...LST would likely have improved yield and Im comfortable with my LST technique. Test will be the Cream Mandarine XL Auto...this grow no LST vs last Grow LST. Will compare yields...saw >2 ozs. each with LST...will see. Last auto grow, my first auto grow yielded 10+ oz. cured buds plus several grams of ice hash and another 1/2 oz. sugar leaf to Magic Butter for coconut oil capsules. Plan to turn around the cabinet quickly for grow #5. Thanks for checking out my latest grow. Harvest update after trim.

And the winner is...LST vs this no-touch grow for yields. After 4 weeks of slow dry hanging and then burping in glass jars brought RH down to 59%. The two Green Crack Auto plants yielded 80 grams total dried trimmed buds. The control plant was a Cream Mandarine XL Auto since I grew out four last grow. CMXL no-touch yielded 44 grams dried trimmed buds, compared to my average CMXL yield last grow at 64 grams per plant. That’s a 30% decrease. The freebie Blueberry Auto yielded 47 grams. There were a few additional grams in total pulled as testers pre-weigh in. All told a little over 6 ozs. total. Waiting on some seeds. Next grow #5 will likely be a fem photo with LST. We also yielded about a tablespoon of kief that was pressed today into shoe hash...it is very nice. Pics are of the CMXL and kief pile and shoe hash tonight. The Green Crack is potent euphoric and up and long lasting...just lacking any strong terpene smells at this point. It is covered in red hairs and smokes nice and smooth. The Blueberry is 100% blueberry muffins tinged in purple and dense very frosty buds...most excellent body buzz and sleep aid. The CMXL from my own seed was fast at 8 weeks from sprout. Frostier and more pronounced lemon cleaner smell. Doubling up on Budswel is my new approach in full flower. All organic meds. Thanks for checking out my Grow #4.
