Greenimini I put 3 seeds on tissues and stored them in the dark, keeping them moist. 2 out of 3 germinated the next day. The 3rd seed didn't want to germinate after a whole 3 days, so I started using a glass of water for germination. The next day, I saw that the seed in the glass of water had split open. "Hope dies last." They all germinated beautifully, and 3 days after sowing, the stem appeared.

I put my 2nd plant in a ceramic pot to grow, and today I notice that the plant isn't growing anymore, it's small and making no progress. The roots are dark yellow and rotting almost up to the stem, I washed it off, can it still be saved?

it sounds like root rot. i would suggest starting another grow and make sure to clean everything that the plant was in, esp. the pot. when you start the new grow, make sure to not over water for the first few weeks, i would also suggest keeping them in the solo cups for 3 weeks or start them in a bigger pot and leave them in there. this save any time from transplanting, and stress caused by it.

Dont let your soil stay soaked just damp. If your worried their falling over and croaking, it's called damping off, try sprinkling a little cinnamon around the girls and water in. If it's not to late this could save her. Dont start feeding as they need to adjust to the nute levels in the soil. Cheers

Greenimini It was very cold at night without realizing it, for 3 or 4 days I couldn't notice any change, then one more day I noticed that the stem turned purple up to the leaf, so I changed the watering behavior from a spray bottle to a glass of water. I replaced the daylight light source with a 3-watt LED, and the next day there was a huge change; the plant feels much better, it's very noticeable that it has grown and the purple coloring is gone, the leaf green is practically shining. I will continue like this.
