Start of week 6 - -things are looking great (I think anyways haha) -cheese is in solid flower mode and super lemon haze is slowly coming into it. I think the break last week may have slowed it down a bit, but they both look super healthy. -having the exhaust fan is such a huge change. The AC Infinity Cloudline is great. It's so nice to not have to constantly be checking temp and humidity levels. Day 36 - fed them both 4 cups of nutrient cocktail this morning. They're starting to drink faster. I let them go for 3 days and they were sad drooping when I checked in this morning, so the watering schedule will have to be adjusted moving forward. Day 40 - Feeding every other day now, so they each had another 4 cups of nutes. Based on their growth patterns, the super lemon haze is either stunted or it will have a longer grow time than the cheese. Hopefully the latter, but either way, they are both still growing fast. They have pretty much filled the perimeter of the tent at this point, so they can only grow up now. Day 41 - Exhaust Was having humidity issues, so the exhaust fan is now in the tent, pushing air out of the carbon filter, which is outside of the tent. I plan to bring the carbon filter into the tent at some point as well, when I get a chance, as I think pulling air through it before it hits the fan will be easier on the fan in the long run. Continuing on with humidity, I'm switching to a 24hr schedule with the exhaust fan to keep moisture levels down. The plants are filling all 4 sides of the tent, so I want to stay ahead of any problems that could come from too much moisture in the coming weeks. Light Some of the leaves looked like they may be stressing from the light a bit, so I moved it up an inch. Still some room to go up if I need to as they continue to grow. Super lemon haze stem break update She had a bit of a slow week, but it looks like the stem has healed, the stress period is over and I think I may have accidentally supercropped (lol whoops!). Excited to see how things develop. Fingers crossed.

Grow Questions

I see a couple little flower hairs coming in on the cheese plant. I've read that you are not supposed to train auto-flowers very far into flower, but I was hoping to get one or more bends in over the next week. Anybody have any thoughts?

you can train the plant(s) anytime after the 3rd week, these are autos so be careful as some autos do not like to be messed with, hope that helps

I'd love some insight into how I am doing, if anyone cares to throw a little constructive criticism my way! This is all very new to me, so research, message boards and these journals is all I've really had to go by. I'd love to hear what you think. Thoughts? Advice? Cheers!

Snapped the main stem during LST, right below the main cola on SLH(just starting flower). Braced it with ducktape and propped it with some bamboo. At this point, everything else looks fine, so I'm just pretending it's not there. How worried should I be? Anything else I should do?

Hey there , First of all your plant looks really good and healthy πŸ’ͺπŸ‘Œ You did good using the tape to fix it and considering your plants health , I suppose it will recover soon . The only thing is that this might cause a bit stress to the plant during this phase , even more being an autoflower variety . There’s nothing else you could do right now so you just need to wait and see ... And BTW , always make sure you train your plants before watering them and couple days after last watering . When the branches contain lots of water , they become crunchy and not so flexible πŸ˜‰ Good luck πŸ€

I've noticed that the petioles on many of the fan leaves have turned red. They're not showing any other signs of anything being wrong. Anyone have any info on this?

This is from light exposure as far as I'm aware, I've had some strains stay green on the stalks, some turn red where the light hits, some turn purple. As far as I know this is normal and caused by genetics. There are a couple of deficiencies that could cause this also but your plant does not look like it's suffering.

My plan was not to defoliate the autos, as I've read much debate on this. I'm curious if it's in my best interest to take a couple of these bottom guys off that are touching the pot for a bit better air flow. Thoughts?

Don’t be afraid to defoliate autos. I usually see better results when defoliating leaves directly blocking light to bud sites. Hope this helped. Happy Growing Cheers! πŸŒ±πŸŽ„πŸ”₯

Had some light strain earlier on, but now im leaning toward a deficiency. Been feeding on a low-dose flora series schedule with clean ph water for every other feed. Just had clean water yesterday and nutes 3 days before. Dry out between feeds. Nitrogen? Calmag? Other?

Hi there, I see some burn tips and Your pH seems to be higher for soilless.Maintain your pH around 5.5~6.0 for soilless and check also run off pH and ppm.I think those brown spots could be Maganese lockout due to high pH substrate.Happy growing... ✌️

@TheChronicHunter, probably going to chop in the next 10 days! I for sure stunted it early on, so it won't yeild as much as it could, but it's a beautiful little plant nonetheless. Keep your ph in line and don't overwater and you'll be laughing.
