What a big week! 😵
There's a lot going on, so lets get at it....
The week started off good from the topping being done👍. After a couple of days of recovery, cleaned up the bottom nodes, but left the big ol' solar panel leaves a bit longer... usually I take everything when cleaning up, but saw this done and wanted to give it a try. 👊
A couple of more days of recovery then started training the 2 nodes to grow horizontally for the mainline. I use two different methods for holding down the arms... with garden ties (green) or the stakes themselves👈.
Now, the next couple of days is where I might have made a slight mistake....😲 I usually top again as soon as I SEE the 2nd set of nodes on the new arms... (Top at the first set), but this time I thought I would give them a couple of more days then top... NOPE! 👺
All that did was waste two days of recovery/growth because the energy went to the main top instead of the 1st set of nodes.
So... snip! We now have 4 tops! 😜
All the mistake really did was add to my veg time. I was planning on topping one more time to give me 8, but not sure if I have the veg turn around time.... 😕
If they recover quickly and grow as quick, then we might have 8 new arms!!!
I'm watering 500ml every 3 days due to recovery... soon they'll want more. I don't mention the pH much... that's due to the organic soil balancing out the plain tap water... which has a neutral pH 7. I have to say it makes for easier growing 😀.
BAM!!!
Until we meet again! 😁
@@DownUnderNugz, Could be a couple of reasons... in the 9 week veg, alot of training is going on, that certainly stunts some growth...
I just give them water since they are growing in 'living soil', that could be a reason too since i'm not force feeding...
and of course, still learning the craft! 😜
Happy Growing!👉😁👉
