Another big week!π
First of all... great seeds so far from PEV!π I've been stressing, chopping, bending, spraying, transplanting, and they bounce back just so fast!
Started out the week with training on one, and the second one a couple of days later. Since they're growing so fast, I transplanted them into bigger (7 Gallon) forever homes. π
Added new Kryptonite Soil to the bottom and sides, and also as a top dressing. Unfortunately, I did run out, but there is enough there to bring them to harvest... as long as I switch them in the next week to 10 days.
On the transplant now... I almost completely screwed them up.πΊ I gave them a good litre of water about 3-4 hours before I started. I figured that should get the soil moist but not wet. I also watered them from the bottom up using the pots to wick up the water on the sides... well, that was wrong or I didn't give enough water or both.... when I slowly tried to pry the cloth pot off (roots do stick to pot) it fell apart about a good 25%... I guess that's what you call root pruning technique...ππ π³π’π
Now, a normal grower would let them recover... hell no,π lets give them so water and clip off new growth!
This technique of clipping off just the new arms and not their fan leaves... I guess all the energy is directed to the top growth and less stress because you're not cutting as much off.π
Let's see how they recover after a good week of chaos in the tent!π
Not completely sure on how much water they had since I gave them extra, but starting out in the new pots, (which are not cloth) the girls will be getting 2 litres every 3 days!
Well, I guess I'll see ya's next week hopefully with plants.. π
@@DownUnderNugz, Could be a couple of reasons... in the 9 week veg, alot of training is going on, that certainly stunts some growth...
I just give them water since they are growing in 'living soil', that could be a reason too since i'm not force feeding...
and of course, still learning the craft! π
Happy Growing!πππ
