My second grow, back in 2017. Always loved RQS genetics and this pheno of Royal Gorilla was one the best I've ever grew.
The seed germinated in a glass of water and poped in maybe less than 24H.
Went right away to a vase with All Mix by BioBizz.
Unfortunately i dont have an extensive photo record of back then. So this is the last veg week before flowering cycle photos.
Still just PH water with 15% runoff. No nutrients added until the last week ofnm veg and switch to flower.
This was around the 2nd week of flowering ( actual white pistylls of the flower showing).
Seems that i forgot to transplant until the week after 🤦♂️🏽😁.
Buds starten to fatten up like crazy...the smell is intense pine, vick vapo rub and fresh grass.
Can't touch the plant without getting glued on it. The resin production is out of the chart!!!
At this point the plant is just made up by flower stacked on top of more flower, fat and resinous. Never seen utill today 2023 anything like it. You'll see when trimmed.
Last week of ripening with sugars.
Looks like as fat as it can be. Will harvest next week but now considering should have left it another week or 2 easily.
Overall one of the best strains and pheno I've ever grew until today almost 7 years later.
Great veg, short plant without any training.
What stunned me the most was the resin production, quantity and density of the flowers(stacked, covering all branches from top to bottom) and the quality of the smoke. Certainly had a fraction of the max thc advertised but very good for morning smoke. I recomend RQS in general and this strain particularly for almost any grower. Great brand and products. All mix soil and Biobizz nutrients also had a good performance. The light was just a 250w hps but I'm trying to purchase a good quality led fixture.
Next one posted will be cookies gelatto by RQS as well.
