Hi peeps! This is my first grow and I want to keep everything organic. For now,2 out of 3 seeds sprouted out,2 days from planting into organic coco. Didnt add any nutes or anything yet,but it seems that I have f-ed up with my ph. Im using spring water from a mountain near by,but it is pretty acid (~4.8 ph). Could that be the reason my plants have white tips and a spot on the leaf? Or could it be the height of the light? Thank you :)

You might've answered your own question...only thing you can do is try to raise the pH of your water, also your soil looks a little too moist👊👌

Hi everyone! Hope you are doing just fine! Update on this week: The plants have been transplanted into 13l pots after started to be root bound. Still getting used to coco, feeding with ph regulated water every 3 days now, seems to be the best solution. Pots have been filled with 70% organic coco, 20% organic red worm casting compost and 10% perlite. Also, from my local store i added 50g of Ogranic fertilizer (with a similar composition as rqs organic grow pellets),its 5:3:3 NPK with 9% Mg and 3% Ca with mycorrhiza and 0.6 % leonardite. Also buffered the coco with a 5% CalMag solution. The smallest plant had some overwatering issues, simply didnt water it for 2 days and poke small holes with a chopstick in the soil to give it some oxygen. White tip was gone when i regulated the ph. The biggest plant is a random seed friend gave me,growing pretty fast, just hope it is female or else chop chop. Transplanted them yesterday, seem to do just fine, but wont know until few days pass by. Next step will be a fan to reduce the moisture of the room, because it varies 50-69% at a time. If you guys/gals have any suggestions, please, feel free :) Happy growing everyone!

Well, another week, another problem... Would you say this is a cal/mag issue? The brown spots? It just isnt going easy for me... I have a powdered calmag, says it is best to do a 10% solution with water, 9% Ca and 6% Mg is the composition.

leave the cal mag alone for now. start feeding your plant(s) when they are at the 4th week mark. start with a small amount of nutrients then. if the label says use this much then you would use less then what the label says.. right now though i would suggest using a spray bottle with distilled water to use as a spray, once a day right before your lights go out. this will help your young plant. also just use a bit more water. if you can add some nutrients for the roots at the young age to get those roots growing. i use a clonex mix, 1tbl spoon per gallon and i use this when the plants are young, it is in the water and i use it each time, i want to grow the roots just as much as i want to grow the top. if your roots are happy and your top is happy you will be almost guaranteed a good harvest. your on the right track though and you are doing good, so if you have other questions ill be glad to help you out

Definitely the best community Forsure! Way more helpful than reddit or any other cannabis based forum I’ve been on. I haven’t dealt with a single person on here that is hostile like on other sites. It’s a really peaceful and helpful community which is what I’m all about! Glad to have you on here!

Hi everyone! So,week 3 in progress. So far, plants are growing well, noticed that they need more than 100ml/3 days now, will up the dose. Also my air moisture is too high sometimes, need to get a fan! Plants still have brown spots on them, after regulating the ph from week 1 to week 2,the white tip had gone away, but has returned now :( (that son of a b****) The problem is that i regulate my ph with ph paper strips (litmus) and it isnt so accurate... Will try to find a better solution. Do you have any advice to solve my brow spots problem? Calmag issue or leaf septoria? Water that i use is always in 6.0 ph range and has 300 ppm. Thanks in advace!

Calcium or potassium deficiency, might've had a lockout from you pH problem if I remember correctly. If you got it under control, continue on regular feeding schedule. Do not overfeed 👍🤞👊

And also maybe too much worm casting , no soil in your mixture. So you don’t have a ph buffer and nutrient storage

I’ve read how you do the soil in your diary and I think you have done it wrong. Is too much coco, so you have to deal with a coco substrate , i think is a calmag def due to this factor ( the 70% coco substate) .

Hi everyone! Sorry for not updating the weekly progress, was very sick and had every symptom of COVID,but after few tests turns out that it was Salmonella (disgusting) . While I was gone,my friend watered the plants with water solution of 10% calmag (10g per liter of water). The plants have grown nicely, some of nutrient deficiency was solved by calmag, but the plants still dont look 100%. For a "quick one" its not as quick as i thought, probably from the inital ph shock... Noticed that the smell is starting to go around the place, having sweet dreams 😂 I think its PK deficiency,so i will start feeding them some organic solution with higher PK rating. The random seed plant shows a lot of deficiency, while other dont look too bad This week I'm thinking of doing some LST,the stem is looking thicc. If you have any recommendations, feel free to comment! Happy growing and stay safe! :) 🙏

Hi everyone, hope you are doing just fine! My plants had gone throught a lot of change since the last update! The biggest plant went from being thicc and bushy to a weird one (probably overdone the lst),second and third plant hadn't changed that much. Switched to 12/12 light. Done some LST so that the lower canopy (hope I'm using that word right) can get some light too,but i think i over did it a bit with the biggest plant. Also, misjudged the space available in my growroom,so yeah.. Feeding wise, feeding them 450/500 ml of water solution with 12g of homeogarden 3:6:12 NPK and 5% Ca, 3% Mg with add on of kelp. Also added 30ml/l of coconut water to the mix. Still struggling a bit with my ph rating, will get a better testing kit (but not a pen,my budget is too tight :( ). Humidity problems have been resolved by getting a fan (took me too long) and a dehumidifier thingy. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment! Happy growing!

I would say that is a tad bit of light burn if it’s only on the upper leaves of the plant, and maybe a bit to much nutrients if your seeing it all over the plant. But if it’s just a few leaves near the top then raise your light a bit maybe. Cheers💨

If your growing in soil like your diary says, your ph is set for soiless, not soil. 6.7 to 6.8 ph for flowering mode. 6.3 for veg mode. Cheers

Hi everyone, hope you are doing fine! Plants are as usual, growing with a bit of a slower pace than expected, but hey,its a thing we cant always control! Finally plant number 1 stopped stretching! I was so happy to see it stop because my light cant go any higher than current (20 cm) ,and the plant is pressed up agains a wall with one side, but getting enough light! :( Pictures taken with flash on,so if leaf color is a bit on the brighter side, dont worry! Still have not received my ph testing kit from GH (the test with drops, costs about 7 €),so my ph cant be measured untill i acquire it... Flowering is in progress, the smell is weak lets say,but when i touch the leafs,my hand smells sooooo much. Feeding schedule is still the same, 500ml of premix every 3 days. Still having problems with my air mositure, despite having 2 air dehumidifiers and 3 additional DIY with cat sillica litter and coarse salt.... Will bring a big ol' fan next week so my moisture doesn't vary from 50-70% (most of the time around 59%) **Made a mistake with my question last week,my growing medium is soilless (pure coco),so my ph should be around 6.0-6.2 for flowering? *** Removed the random seed plant, she wasn't going anywhere and my space is 2 small for everyone :( Stay safe peeps, and happy growin'! 🙏💪

Hello everyone! Hope you are doing good! Im gonna keep it short. Plants keep stretching,(bastards :( ) , soo my growroom is tight on space, but the flowering is in full on progress. Plant n.2 takes the cake over the n.1 with its development. Plant n.3 joins the flowering party, but stretched a lot :( Got my ph kit from GH with the drops and its pretty awesome for a budget meter, would recommend! Humidity problems returned, but i got a big 'ol desk fan to keep the air flowing,so my humidity is constantly around 60*, temperatures from 22* daily to 20/19 night. Smell is starting to show a bit more, pine notes would say Feeding increased to 700ml/3 days but i keep forgeting the coconut water... Did a bit of defoliating of the most lower leaves, because they started to die off (probably plant giving energy to the upper leaves and not getting enough light) If you have any recommendations for my grow, please comment ! Stay safe folks, happy growing! 🙏

Could anyone confirm if this is a problem or normal, some of my buds hair started to go amber,is it due to light shortage? I had few days of 8-9-10h of light because of problems with my installations...

3 weeks in flower it is rare for it to be a genetic trait, the usual reason I see this is if a plant has released pollen due to stress or just hemi prone. I would go over the plant thoroughly to check for any male parts or even nannas. Hopefully you don’t find any. Other reasons for reddening of pistols can be wind burn or they have been man handled etc. Hope this helps👍

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well. Nothing has changed much in the past week, plants have finished their stretching period (1. and 2. plant atleast),and they are fattening up gradually :) My only issue is that i have to return home and my plants wont be looked after anyone for the next 10-15 days... so,im trying to come up with a drip system that could compensate for the water needs, other things are taken care of. The fans are connected to a timer socket as well as the light. All of the sockets are equiped with a power surge protection,so im safe on that. (i think and hope so) My air humidity isnt falling below 66%,because the weather is not that great, cant expect the humidity indoors to be at a lower level... but as long as my fans are spinning, its all good! Feeding hasn't changed, but the plants are starting to seek more water as they are flowering, and the smell is starting to become very intense. So,when I come back,im just hoping i dont find my babies dead :( Stay safe people, and happy growing! 🙏

Plants are looking very healthy!! as for a drip system to keep it going while youre gone - get a big resevoir with an air stone to keep the solution oxidized, place it at a high place above the pots and connect a timed valve (usually found in garden stores/greenhouses/online) that switches according to your watering needs! from the valve spread a drip system across your plants. With big enough resevoir you can keep it going for more than two weeks without maintaining it! Hope this helps! Good luck and happy growing :)

Hi everyone,im back with not much news! :( Plants are doing allright, started feeding them less and I'm thinking of harvesting soon,in the next 10 days probably.... Since I last visited them,my "drip system" worked and failed at the same time (yes it is possible). Water had to last for 2/3 weeks, but some bad math after,it was spent in a week time... but they are alive! Buds started to fatten up,first plant grew a bit, main cola still small, and the side buds are getting a bit more thicc... The second plant was promising but the grow slowed down.... Third plant stretched her stem a lot,I mean a loooot, but looking good... Feeding is 1.2l/3 days, started lowering the nutrinents in water, will flush soon... Thinking my grow will result in a poor harvest because, except for the starting stress,my light source is just not too strong and room to crowded.... but we'll see.. Happy growing everyone!

Hi peeps, Sorry for not posting any updates, had a lot of work to do. The ending of my harves went like this: After the last update, the plants were cut 10 days after. First step was to do a basic trim and then flip them upside down, and they were placed in my closet, along with my 5V usb fan that turned on every few hours for an hour to keep the airflow going, and stopping mold. After 7 days of drying upside down, followed a 4 day period of brown bag because they were still wet af. After the bag,i stored them back in my jar along with 55% humidity pack from integra, and after 10 days they were almost perfect! Burped once a day for 30 min. What can i say,the strain is very good, responded great to all of the feeding changes and held up pretty good. As of my part,i would say this to a new grower: 1. Be sure to use the right growing medium! I used full coco, and it could have gone better with lets say 40% coco,40% regular organic soil,10% prelite and 10% worm castings (i highly recommend for veg!) 2. Invest in a good ph meter/ mesuring device,ph strips are crap, the droplets method isnt bad,a lot easier to use than strips... -to regulate the ph,make a water/baking soda mix for ph up,and water organic apple vinegar for down 3.Dont be scared of underwatering the plant, the inch rule of wet soil is a good measurement,as well as the pot weight 4.Dont overfeed the plants,at least this plant didnt need a lot,but was very healthy despite a rough start 5.Respect this community,it is great and first time growers and experienced ones always are in reach,so thanks to all!! 6.Ensure that you have enough room and light for the plants! That was the biggest problem i had, great plants but not enough room so my harvest wasnt so great in quantity... even with all of the "control" measures -For anyone wanting to buy a mastergrow led full spectrum light, would recommend!! The smoke is smooth, somewhat of a delayed effect, but deff a indica dominant strain, more of a evening smoke would say. That is all for me of this grow, big thanks for everyone that helped!
