Starting the journal on the 16/10/20- she has just opened.
Starting the week on the 18/10/20.
Using the following:
- Canna Coco Pro Plus
- Using BioBizz Root Juice and Heaven for the first week then swithing to Sensi Grow
- Spider Farmer 100w for veg in small veg tent
- Spider Farmer 200w and Burple 600w for flower
End of the week: Nice gowrth. Looking healthy.
Moved the over to the larger tent and under the SF-2000 and added the SF-1000 to the tent.
Switched to Advanced Nutrients on day 12 of grow and the change in health and growth was instant as the photos show.
Light Cal-Mag leaf issues on the first set of leaves so increased the doseage and will see how it goes.
Very happy with the progress and the switch to Advanced Nutrients.
Had some really warm days where I live so keeping the temp down has been difficult.
Huge week of growth and looking reasonably healthy except a few lower leaves got some burn. I was alittle hungover and stuffed up the mix early in the week.
Topping on the 9th of November.
LST on the 14th of November.
I'm not limited with time due to a holiday the fam booked for late Jan so will switch to flower next week.
Switched to 12/12 as I need to head away on January and need to harvest before leaving.
Very happy with the start of the stretch. First time using Bud Ignitor and I think flower pistils started after a few days.
The tent is filling out nicely. Will clean the undergrowth at the end of the stretch.
Defoliated at day 42, was going to wait longer but the fan leaf mess was really annoying me. Will do another abd final one in a few weeks.
Pistils are out and looking nice.
Pretty happy at this stage!
Flowering is in full force. We're off and running.
The watering isn't not running off like the two in the tent, think due to the close proximity to the ground fan which might be drying her up quickly so giving her two feeds a day to ensure run off each feed.
Day 48- Removed all the remaining lower branches and stems "lolliepopped".
Removed some of the large fan leaves through out the middle and top .
First time defoliating this heavily so hoping its right and won't hurt the yields.
Start of the week at Day 53. Been watering her very heavily as she seems to drink up the nutes pretty hard.
The SF1000 and burple light are leading to a really nice result so far with pistils out all the way down the stem. Thinking the Bud Igniter worked well.

I'm after some defoliation advice.
When should I remove all the large fan leaves higher up the plant which are restricting light to the lower bud sites?
Will removing the higher up fan leaves hurt the yeild?

I'm a big defoliation fan, and apply it in every plant I grow.
You should mostly remove leaves that are covering bud, or bud spots, leaves that won't let light pass down on the plant.
Removing all of them isn't a good idea as they work as water reservoirs, and solar panels. The thumb rule is 20% of the foliage at a time, and recommend to feed with nutrients after applying the procedure, so the process isn't so aggressive to the plant. Also, I do it in the light off period,just before switching on and feeding.

The stems are hard AF thanks to Rhino Skin and can't wait to see the Kushie Kush do it's think as they start fattening up.

Leaves curling up and looking burnt.
Took a heap of leaves off.
Flushed with Flora Kleen then fed again 24 hours later but only with Sensi Grow and cal mag.
Both Night Queens had issues but the GG4 is pretty much all good.
The GG4 in the tent turned hermie and pollenated the 2 x night queens. Very disappointing.
What a shame. The Dutch Passion genetics are insane though and will have a heap of femisned seeds.
Will see the grow out and everything in the tent.
If anyone has any ideas of how this happened and how to ensure it doesn't happen again please let me know.
Commened flushing on the 29/12/20 but as per the question im having second thoughts. 50%+ of the hairs are orange and are turning orange at a fast rate.
Looks like you have timed it perfectly if you want two weeks of flushing. I'll just say that flushing doesn't really accomplish anything. I would personally dial nutes back to half this week, then down to nothing for the final week. This way, if she takes a bit longer to finish, then you haven't starved her. Again though, there is not any evidence (except anecdotal) that flushing does anything positive.
Last week of flower for this pregnant lady. Not much showing in ways of trichomes but whatever... I pulled a seed out earlier today and the seeds are perfect so will be looking at a Sea of Green Gorilla Glue x Night Queen grow in a few months.
Learnt alot of feminised seeds and the hermie issue so will take alot away from this grow and learn from it.
Disappointed that I won't get the high THC Dutch Passion smoke I was hoping for but that's all good. It is what it is.
Will harvest in a few days, flushing has commenced.
