Purple Orange CBD - Dinafem

Hi fellow growers and welcome back! Big news straight away: this is the last week entry for the vegetative phase! 😎 I did the switch to 12/12 on the very last day of this week entry so by next week there should be quite some change. Apart from this, nothing special about this week. She kept growing very nicely and strong, as usual. I noticed she got some pistils out (second picture from day 40), I knew she was a girl since it was a feminized seed but it's always nice to have confirmation. On the last day of this week, I prepared her for the stretch phase. I went quite heavy on the defoliation I must admit. I follow Nebula's main-lining technique, he says light defoliation before flowering (mainly big leaves normally) but I decided to do even more. I basically remove all big leaves that are on the inside of the circle, in order to give light to the little branches going up in the middle. I also remove most of the branches that are growing on the outside/under the main cola branches. I was wondering if I should go that heavy on the defoliation but I decided to not be scared and that it would be a good test for the next run. I could have let her 2/3 days to recover from the cut before switching to flowering but I thought she'll be fine. Until now I'm really happy with this Purple Orange CBD from Dinafem. She responded very well to cuts and LST (main-lining stuff) and always grew strong until now. We'll now see what the stretch looks like with her. She is supposed to be a mid-sized plant, hopefully she gains something like 30cm+ in the next three weeks with numerous bud sites. That's it for this week!
