Hi guys! This is my first grow ever. For this round I'll have 2 Northern Light Auto from WeedSeedShop (WSS). I'm so psych. 😝😁 I'm making the most off the current situation by realizing a long lasting dream off mine. For your knowledge, I'm using a 60x60x160cm grow tent, 2 small fan, an 220m^3/h extractor (220/280) with a 400m^3/h Bull Filter. I'm also using a humidifier for day time and a dehumidifier for night time. The germination pots I used are 7x7x7cm. For the monitoring, I have a low cost meteo station with a remote sensor which is in my grow tent. I'll use BioBizz and GHE for my nuts and BioBizz Light Mix for the substrate. I'm planning to reuse it for my garden on my future grow. I bought an anaerobic composter to this effect. I hope to make around 2 ounce. Take care. Stay safe and masked.😷

Anyone knows when to transplant to definitive pot? What is better, wait 2 week after germination (so 1w more) then transplant to 14L pot or transplant now... I'm opened to any experienced advises and suggestions. 😅

When it comes to Autos you have to be very cautious while transplanting. Autos tend to be very sensitive to transplants, but it can vary from strain to strain really. It won’t kill the plant but could severely stunt it. You may want to transplant her now into her final pot and let her be! Now if this was a Photo period plant you could wait until you saw roots coming from the bottom of the plant and then transplant to a bigger or your final pot. I always start my Autos in the same pot I finish in. But if you like starting with a small pot because it is a lot easier to manage than a giant pot with a seedling a good recommendation is these “non woven biodegradable nursery seedling bags” you can buy up to 1000 or the bags for less than $15usd and they are great for autos because you just transplant the bag directly into the soil. The roots can easily travel through the nursery bag into the soil around it!

Hi. I wanted to know if adding a CO2 exhaust bag in a small grow tent (60x60cm) is effective for overall growth? I'm European and most off my pairs said it was useless but the topics dated from 2010s and I couldn't find current definitive argument so... here I am.

In order to truly get the benefits of CO2 the ppm must be raised to a pretty decent level (up to 1000ppm). What C02 really does is it increases the plants light saturation and speeds up photosynthesis. So basically you would need to increase light intensity so the plant can use the extra C02, otherwise the results will be marginal or non existent. There’s no harm in trying one CO2 bags or bottles but it definitely won’t make your plant yield an extra ounce or anything like that. If you purchase one of those you also want to make sure you buy a C02 meter so you can tell if those products are actually releasing carbon dioxide and aren’t depleted. I hope this helps!

Not a lot to say about the grow beside i decided of transplanting both NL in a 14L plastic pot. It'll be their last home for the grow. They don't seemed to have been shocked by it. I had a great VPD during all week although a bit high humidity during light off. But who cares it veg time so it'll be Ok... (so I think) Lol. I turn on the light during the night to reduce electric's bill. I'll put molasses very 2 w. But big news!! I decided to buy the new TS1000. But with the context, I'm not to sure when or even if, I will received it but I think it will be ok and received it in 1/2w. Happy Halloween!

J+19 Hi guys! I received and installed my TS1000 yesterday. The delivery from Mars Hydro Europe was pretty quick (<7d) I'm very impressed buy the light intensity, footprint and efficiency.😎😱😆 It was simple and quick to install. I'm considering putting the driver outside the tent but I don't want to fuck it all so... It is really a good light. Only problem is, it seems that even if my numeric timer is set on off, a small current pass through. Which is sufficient to light a little the grow tent... I think that this little intensity is superior that moon light but not sure. Anyone with this?Is it normal? I'll put a grow question for it or search for an answer latter. I watered my plants only for the 3th time. So basically, I water each plant with 0.4-0.7L, 1/2 per w. I will progressively increase light intensity and distance to 45cm during the grow. At that time the TS1000 is at 60cm with 75% intensity. I also change the light period to 18/6H now that I've a decent light. Even though I change it I think it'll have been sufficient for early growth, the veg period.

J+26, 3rd week of veg. Hi fellow growmies! Bad news!!😫😖😢 As u can see, during LST maintenance on NLA 1 the main trunk spit clean... I was so pissed against myself for the all week. So I pretty much stopped LST for now. Will restart next week, this time taking the time to do it properly and slowly. So I tried to root the cut part in water then in soil. I'm sure it 's useless but why not test it. The stunt growth of P1 is finished and the plant seems to restart growing with 2 main lateral branches. We'll see that it will become. I'm very satisfied of the TS1000. It take some time to adjust the lamp's high and intensity for T° control but it's worth the effort. My grow tent run better with overall less watts for less T°.😃 I received my Bokashi pack for urban composting. It's pricey at set up but profitable for long term use( and extremely eco friendly). PEACE!😷

J+34 from seed, 4th week of veg. Hi fellow growmies! Not so much to tell this week. After the accident I had with, I decided to test myself to some "Main-Linning". Of course it's not exactly so. I will not top her again. But this will give me an idea of the utility or not of topping autos. As u can see growth overall is better without topping wich is logic but will the colas be more dense in one wich I topped? Wee'll see. Fisrt month done!!! I had some minor issue this nut burn and had to cut 3/5 leaves. The accident with one of the NL made me forget to switch to only water for the end of last week... Nothing major as I water once per week or so. Humidity in my place is high (RH=70-80% indoor) and more so in winter so I put away my Mistmaker. Moreover, P2 show signs of pistils and is pre-flowering. I'm gonna progressivly reduce Grow and augment Bloom nuts. I water 250ml with 2ml of molasses yesterday and continue to spray daily somme Seaweed and Humic/Fulvic at lamp start. The TS1000 is at 80% intensity at 45cm. PEACE!😷

5th Week of veg. P2 is Pre-Flowering Plants are nicely growing. I'm updating several weeks at a time so sadly I'll not comment at much as precedented. Even though the 1st NLA has been accidently topped, she bounced back pretty well and quick. The training on P2 is comming off nicely. I wasn't expecting those results. I have augmented to 75% the intensity of the TS1000. I don't think I'll use it to max as I had some light burn coming up.

6th week from veg. 1st week of flower As u can see P1 wich has been topped about 3 weeks ago is healthy and strong. The only negatives points are of course the 1/2 weeks of growth delay comparing to P2 but also the lesser flower's density. Tried to up the intensity to 80% but i turned it down quickly as the plants couldn't take it... I'm at 75% for now. After a month of using my Bokashi I've obtained my first compost juice, about 30mL. I took time because I've added somme (too much) "brown" at first. I melanged it with somme melasse and water. Preparing somme A.A.C.T (Aerated Anaerobic Compost Tea) for next week!!

7th Veg 2nd Flo No to much to say. Girls seem to like the compost juice. Topping seems to have litlle long term effects but can't compare to plain LST to my senses. The only reason I could recommend it, is if u have little time for u plants witch is pretty much blasphemy to me.😇 I actualy trained 3x less the topped NLA. So "topping" can be less time eating than continus LST. Moreover the conopy can be more "homogen"

8th Veg 3rd Flo With the deshumidier my 60x60 is cramped as hell. I'm so happy and hopping great things from my girls. The topped NLA (P1) entered flower. It was heavy weeks. I've competed the AACT and 've done some HST doing so breaking a tige that I managed to patched up hopefully. Those last 2 weeks girls started to streched with "topped" NLA as the winner. She seems to want to suplant her sister.😊 I'll may have to change my opinion about topping before the end of the grow. The water and nuts intake are different. I diluted those for P1. I've done some "lolli-popping" at the base (watering purpose mainly) wich evidently can't be seen. I 've about 10 cm bettween the soil and base of the pots. A.A.C.T: Dechlored water 14L, Seaweed ~10ml, Rhizoponics 3mL, compost juice 200mL, Mélasse 15mL, Humic/Fulvic 4mL. Air pomp, 2 air stones.

9th Veg 4th Flo - 13 week from Germination That was a slow week. I defoliate some yellow leaves due to some ph variation in the soil, resulting in nut burn... Watering was composed of 30mL/2L of compost juice + 5mL melasse, pH=6.7. I think that topping and/or Comost juice/AACT was the big factor of strech of my topped NLA (P1). H(P1)=56cm; H(P2)=36cm Happy Hollidays! Stay safe! 😷

S10, F5, V10 from germination As I have updated a lot at a time there is some discrepancy regarding weeks, pictures etc... Those are pictures from 25th-today. My 5th week of flower started the 25th december so... Not sure what happended but my EC meter wasn't functionning well. After 2 doses of my nuts schedul dose (4mL/L) the EC was still at 340-400PPM. M10 : 15ml TopMax, 15ml Bloom, PPM=640, pH=5.4, T°=20.1°C I will be watching for nut burn even though I just had ph fluctuation ending... Hopping to not kill here juste before harvest!😂 I will start flushing P2 in about 1 w for 2w. As of my "Topped" big one, she must have 3-5 weeks before cuting. Cheers!!

11th week from seed (or so), 6th week of flower. Things seems great. The grow continue without too much accidents. Some light nute burn and yellowing leaves. Wich is strange as there aren't bottom leaves but med/top ones. hum... Upgraded to 15ml/L de melasses. I had to stop the intensity of the TS1000 at 80% as my plants can't take more at all. I had some bleeching due to it. I'm so pacing myself not to cut P2. Pistils are starting to drakened. I'm waiting for 10-20%. I just started the flush of P2: GHE Ripen 4ml/L.

12th weeek from seed, 7 th week flower. Still waiting for P2 to finish!!! The plant seems to have stopped budding and drink much less. I water it about 1L this week. Both plants soil are extremly good: dark brown color good water retention. Thanks to melasse and compost juice, I think!!! I don't know if it's genetics but the topped NLA (P1) is defenitly the better one's. Since last week the purples are rely playing.😊 Don't know if u can see it in py pictures. The strech has stopped. Stay safe. Grow organic!

13th week from seed, 8th week flower Hi! I put the NLA2 that wasn't topped in 48H dark cycle after a light cycle on the 18th of January. After, i directly trim the branches and removed most of sugar leaves and foliar leaves accessible to put it to dry. As I have a hight humidity environnement i think it will be less favaorable for bud rot. Melasse and compost juice was very beneficail to improve microbial life. All the top layer of the soil and mostly in P1 is covered by ever small roots system or Rhizoponics system. However I had ph fluctuation and so nut burn/deficiency do to lockout. (I think as it's my first grow.) Mostly du to my compost juice. It must have been at first really to acidic. The juice I have now from my second Bokashi batch seems healthier. I couldn't wait anymore. Nevertheless Most of the trichomes started turnig brown and the plants wasn't drinking anymore so I cut it. I was impressed of abundance of trichomes. I decided to assemble my GT100 (100x100x180) from MarsHydro. Honestly it was a headace to do it alone but feasible... I took 10-25min for the tent alone and about 1H in total to set up the extractor, FAC and accessories. The only light hole I've seen so far are at the edge of the zip door (corner top off the front door), they are small and do not necessite to be patched, so i'm ok with it. The new tent is much thicker than my old one and of beter fabric/reflectivity and cheaper. I'll be using that tent for my vegetable's garden from now. I'm thinking growing potatoes/tomatoes/pepper/aromatic herbs. I'm using the 60x60 for drying purposes now. For those who are interested in Bokashi compost. After around 1 month of closed fermentation in my 32L compost bin (not bokashi) I put it to rest in soil betwenn layer of used soil in a 90L conatiner and put another 90L container on top after I've sprinkled and mixed the top layer with bokashi bran. I wonder how long it will take to decomposed it all. Soil: 20L used soil, 16L Bokashi compost, bokashi bran. When totaly decomposed I will use that soil for bottom layer of my vegetables grow bag next month. I'm sorry for the long post. I'm a scientific so pardon my thorough description. I will be cutting NLA1 "topped" one in 1/2 w as trichomes started turning brown. 😌 I failed to flush the plants as I wanted it (2w), eventhough I was regulary watching at trichomes. The temp drop along this month slowed the growth. I really flush P2 for one week and P1 will probably have the same. Thanks for those wo took time reading!

14th week from seed,, 9th week of flower Variation of temperature slowed down end growth of NLA1 ("tooped"). I starded at the end of the precedent week with FlashKleen from GHE. Yellow edge leaves from flushing started to appeear now witch is a good sign. Most of the trichomes are stil not cloudy. I figure I will cut next week. I'll just water from now with Flashcleen and melasse next watering and that will be it. I started curing flowers from NLA2 in jelly jars. NLA2 "non toped", slowed growth due to low temperature: 40g. It's not 60 or over because I couldn't help myself fast drying and tasting some suckers branches during the end of grow. LoL.😋 Due to low water consuption and humidity I'm starting having fungus gnats. I upded TS100 intensity to 85% last week too.

For my first grow I am impressed of how "not dificult" this journay was. I though that will be a nightmare and stressing. Some scare, some impassion but all worthy.🙏 Due to low temp and slow growth due to it I decided to cut it early. OK..., I was mostly impatient to taste it... 😋 The flaviods are mostly citrus and some pint. The ash white/gray even though I flush for 4-7 days. The drying took me about a week and the triming a fucking headache as the buds were small. Those are resinus but not as stiky has the second batch the NLA1 which was accidently topped. The final count could have been better, as the growth was stunt at mid/end of flowering but the plant was overly smaller than his sister. Genetics I guess... PS: I haven't weigh P2 before the start of curing. I will update next week for the second plant, NL1. So that it, P1 growth, weight and root had a way better overall than the not "topped one" but not sure it's relevant. Moreover, the stickiness of P1 is way over! AACT hit my plants but not sure if its's in a good way.
