Dec. 10/20
So another healthy week has passed.
Switch to flower has begun.
I will continue to train during preflower stretch and nurture as required.
I've read that allowing this strain little extra time in veg is beneficial, however, as this is first time LED grow I'm going with the flow and not worried about quantity and moreso curious of the quality and outcome. Light intensity will gradually be increased over next week.
As we progress, I will obviously gain a better knowledge of this strain and its capabilities then maybe put the next 3 seeds into production.
Still water only, no signs of concern.
Time will tell.
@MangoDudu, the method works indeed. but the mistake made here is that the plants are grown in plastic pots first. I dont know if this grower has cut the bottom of them, or just put them there.. No matter what he did, its not sooo great.. The grower should have started in textile pots and then put those inside a bigger textile. I do that. I start with 3 gallon and set them into 15 gallons. If you look at my diary (also growing this cultivar from Dutch Passion) then you will see how it works and how well it works. I had roots growing out of my 15 gallons in just 2 weeks.
When that is said.. This growers main issue, is very poor light, in my opinion.
@Eclectic_Bloomz, I think the only convenient way to use them is to open it and push the plant out with your hand from the bottom hole and not tilt the plant, certainly not to put two pots in one plant
@Eclectic_Bloomz, have watched it, and i’ve do some irony don’t take it personally please. But i will cut rhe tongue of the guy who invented a shame like this, ok maybe it can work but u go against nature and against phisics to get a good root ball and good results.
If u want an easy transplant take airpot, unroll them and put the plant into the next pot, thing like this are only marketing. What is difficult in a transplant? Why people don’t just cut the bottom and put in another pot? It will root bound in the smaller pot , watering will be a finger in the ass. Not a good deal
@Eclectic_Bloomz, I just bought one too. Paid similar enough €400, which should be about €550 CAD give or take.
Coco for cannabis is really good. I appreciate the scientific ethos they use, no bro science there 😂
@GuerrillaNo_4,
I'm impressed with it mind u I have only hps to compare with.
I ordered a 2nd for an upgrade to bigger space/more plants/ridiculous light coverage
Here in Canada, I got it for about 525.
I was hesitant to buy at first also.
Check out cocoforcannabis' light review, after all my searching, this was the light I bought.
it says you water them almost 4 liter per plant a day.. watch out, i would assume that was too much and that they pots would stay wet for at least 3-4 days after that volume is fed to them.
@Smokenhagen420,
Thanks for catching volume error and yes I do weight check with pots.
As for the pots, yes, bottoms were removed.
As for lighting. First time led user, and I read lots about led being brighter/intense which is why I'm running at 75% roughly 20 inches above canopy. All reviews seen about this light say par test is ideal 20inches at 100% power.
I'm open to suggestions/advice most definately, so thank you.
